Be aware! UNMANNED FACILITY!!!Started out as Premium Storage then changed to CubeSmart for a short…read moretime and is now Sherman Self Storage and no longer has an onsite manager. I have had 2 units with them for years. When Cubesmart took over last year they raised one units rate (both are same size and were same price) Now, the "NEW" owners/managers have taken over. Their website shows a move in special(free month) then a monthly rate listed. Their website shows "new" monthly rate is well under my normal rate. Monthly rate listed on website DOES NOT say it is "introductory" I called (got a call center), asked what their rates were for my size unit and was told then I asked for my rates to be dropped to their rates. Needless to say we went round and round with excuses being made up here and there so I'll be vacating this facility soon. When I told them this they tried to make up a few conditions required but I reminded them those are not in my new signed lease...she was quick to keep bringing up the new lease. Anyway, loved this place when it was Premium, tolerated CubeSmart and now completely dislike Sherman Self Storage! Plus, they let the place get trashy looking! Security probably won't be top notch either since the facility is unmanned and, from previous knowledge, didn't have the best quality cameras.

They also drilled into my walls to install their router rather than setting it in the AVI box like my AT&T router. Carpet cleaning resulted in additional damage and rendered our carpet unusable. While the company…read morebrags that their machine is the only one in Grayson County capable of cleaning the carpet as well as the padding underneath, they do not accept responsibility for damage to the padding. They came to clean the carpet in our living room after our sick cat had an accident on the living room floor. It seems as though the urine was spread throughout the living room carpet. The stench was unbearable and after two additional visits from M&S Carpet Cleaning, (the first in which they acknowledged the smell but stated that our cats must have sprayed somewhere in the house, and the second visit in which they stated the didn't smell it at all initially, then changed their mind and said they smelled it but it was in the padding, not the carpet, and they are not responsible for the padding), we ended up ripping out the carpet and replacing the flooring. What initially started with a $55 carpet cleaning, turned into a $1,500 flooring project, with absolutely no responsibility taken by this company.
