The driver, Danielle was awesome giving us suggestions of drinks at each bar. Aron (super nice and friendly) was our host/guide keeping us entertained and on schedules! Perk: Danielle stayed with the bike keeping an eye on drinks/water when we went into bars. FYI-No actual peddling was needed-. Highly recommended this for fun.

This was a unique and wonderful stay planned as a late-surprise-joint-birthday celebration for my…read morepartner and I! Arriving after dark, my partner parked on the street and walked down the Art alley to ensure that he had the right spot and knew where to park. I could see that we were in a small town with some local shops and a small theater but tried not to look around and ruin the surprise. Once the venue was verified, we pulled into the grassy parking area behind The Cell Block, located the keys, and found our way to the front door. I could tell that the place was small, dated with a very modern makeover, and had a rooftop area. I was so excited to see inside!! With the heavy, suctioning swoop of the metal door, the prison-turned-boutique-hotel interior was revealed and I immediately congratulated my partner on such an awesome find!! Not one detail was ignored! We took pictures like paparazzi before even putting our bags down over sheer excitement at this overhauled, 1930s, 2-cell, cinderblock city jail where hard steel met white walls and ceiling, delicate flowers, tinted glass, crisp linens, and windows on every side. I have so much to say about this place - from its prison/criminal-themed music records to the rooftop gas fire-pit to the curious alley cats to the sparkling clean wine glasses and complimentary wine and Balcones single malt...it all made for such a special and adventurous stay! While this might be a one-time special occasion for us, we are very eager to treat my parents to a visit some day and have already recommended it to a couple of friends!

There were a few folks there selling things but it was pretty deserted. There's a stairway up to a higher level where the artists work but being the holiday season it was also pretty empty. The employee was very nice and was giving recommendations about a certain artist to check out. The parking situation is limited and you'll have to find a street spot or pay to be in a lot.

We had our family reunion at the Bellmead Civic Center Aug 5 and everyone was happy with the…read moreresult. We had the 'Seniors' room which offered easy access to load in/out, bathrooms in the room and access to the full kitchen/ice machine/etc. The facilities are well maintained and clean. We were able to pick any 6 hour time frame and there was a staff member, Joni (sp), onsite the whole time in case we needed her. They had a projector and speakers that we used to show old family videos and she helped set that up as well as add additional tables for food. They offer a huge discount if you book multiple rooms at a local motel, which we did (Holiday Inn Express.) This made the room less than any other place by far. I have been to other family events here in the past (Anniversary/Christmas) and it has always gone well. The only negative thing i found was the process for putting down a deposit and turning in the application - you have to go to two different places (deposit - City Hall, application - Civic Center) or you can mail it in. They also do not take credit cards. For out of town people, and others, it would be much more convenient to fill out paperwork and pay deposit online with a credit card.

First of all, the Scotty camper is adorable and aesthetically pleasing on the outside and inside. Secondly, the props were so creative and our guests had so much fun taking pictures and being silly. The camper was non- stop action all night and gave guests who needed a place to go for break from the band and noise. The pictures printed immediately and were high quality. Katy was great work with, she communicated clearly, , set up the schedule before the event and created artwork that mirrored the wedding invitations. Cherie and Eric were at the wedding and were wonderful with the guests; they explained the process, were patient, fun and friendly. The icing on the cake was the album created and signed with personal messages from the guests from pictures taken as well as a digital file with photos from the evening. The Candid Camper was an awesome addition to our daughter's wedding.

However, on the day of delivery they were an hour late and delivered the wrong waterslide. I called immediately asking if the correct slide could be delivered and they told me it wasn't possible. Sadly, the slide we originally ordered matched our party theme while the one we were left with did not. When I called and emailed about a discount or refund they reluctantly (a week later) said they'd refund us $25 which is a joke considering the price we paid. When I tried calling to speak to someone they never picked up and never responded to any messages. I will not be using Waco Bounce House ever again, and will be telling my friends to avoid as well. I wish they would have made more of an effort to refund or even apologize for their mistake. Terrible customer service.
