These apartments are specifically for student housing for the UW University across the street, although anyone can stay here. Friendly desk agent and maintenance worker. I would recommend as rent is only 450 to 500 a month on lease read more

The manager for this apartment, and apparently a lot of Marshfield apartments, has horrible…read morecustomer service and will likely cheat you. I called a couple months ago, filled out an application (had to pay a ridiculous fee), and waited another 2 months to hear back from him about an apartment. When he finally called, it was too late as I was otherwise going to be homeless, so I had to find another apartment to live in. Well, he ripped on me that I should have called earlier to cancel my application, and then hung up on me! Seriously, he's an asshole that you can also barely understand on the phone. He should have called me earlier, since he's the one that wants the money! Plus, they were going to charge an illegal in the State of Wisconsin "routine carpet cleaning fee" before I even moved in! I would STRONGLY recommend you take your business elsewhere. This place is a disgrace and they need to change management. I am telling everyone I know not to rent from Northern Management!

The current manager is a nice guy and the apartments are spacious. However there are some regular…read moreapartment living issues even if this place purports to be catering to a higher end resident. One of our neighbors has three teenage kids who chain smoke right outside our front door. They cuss up a storm, play foul mouth music and even smoke pot out there on occasion. So that's fun to deal with. Oh and parking is horrible for residents much less overnight guests. And when it snows it's even worse. Speaking of snow; they only plow when we get 2" or more of snow. So if we get 1.5" one day, then nothing, then another 1.5" etc. the snow will pile up unplowed. This makes the parking lot either covered in ice or a slushy mess. People can't see the parking slots so at least one space is lost by bad parking jobs. But the sidewalks are usually clear at least. Oh and the trash pick-up should be contracted more frequently. The dumpsters are often overflowing. Especially the tiny one for mixed recyclables. The apartments are advertised as having heat included. I find this odd since the heaters are electric baseboard heaters and you are responsible for the power bill. Not sure how heat is included there. Even the water heater is electric. Lastly forget cell coverage. It's a black hole or gap here. Despite being close to the airport there just isn't a good signal ever. You'll need broadband and a cell booster.

If you are a first time homebuyer, you want Connie Miller as your buying agent! We were first time…read morehomebuyers and Connie was amazing through the whole process. Finding our perfect house was the easy part. It was everything that lead up to closing that was stressful, but she guided us through everything, taking time to explain to us newbies about the homebuying process, which means a lot when you're buying your first house! Connie definitely went the extra mile and was always reliable, available and impressively on top of things. There wasn't a moment where we didn't feel like she wasn't working for US! She not only attended the home inspection, but when the inspector informed us of electrical issues, she was immediately on the phone with electricians in the area, setting up appointments for free estimates, and when I had expressed interest in relocating a door in the house, she set up an appointment with a contractor for an estimate for that. Then, she actually CAME to those appointments to make sure all our questions were answered! And as if that wasn't enough, she made the trip all the way to Wausau for the closing, and generously gifted us with a housewarming gift. Connie was extremely professional and always warm and trustworthy, a woman you definitely want on your team when buying your first (or forever) home!

This man took action!! I had a service technician with the part to my stove in my home the very next day. I am happy to report that my stove is now working!!! To the General manager (Chad C.) and the service technician (Scott R.) "Thank you, thank you, thank you!!" I appreciate your efforts and dedication to your job. I only wish others were as efficient as you. Also, Scott C. deserves a raise for his hard work and dedication. I hope someone is listening and follows through on this, as it would be a shame to loose him as an employee. As a final note. This was a relatively easy fix that was drug out for way too long!! Clearly this company needs to work on follow though, and communication to better serve their customers. I hope that management is listening. No one should have fight this hard to get their stove fixed! Susan
