Lady on the phone is extremely rude I would not bring or trust any animal near her. Lots of other options nearby

feel like everything is kind of brushed under the rug…read more First incident that made me start to question this place was when we started fostering a 1 day old kitten and they brushed him off like "he's gonna die anyway". When he was 2 weeks he started to get sick. It was brushed off like it "was nature's " intent. I ended up going to the emergency vet in Maumee and they saved his life. He had a fever of 107 and was in critical care over night. Whitehouse never called the next day like most vets normally do after a pet is in the emergency room. When I called to Whitehouse I got a nonchilant "oh he's still alive" Incident 2. I have...had a cat with chronic eye issues. He started steroid shots etc. Last appointment on a Friday- he started circling AT THE LOBBY and I was concerned (at the time I didn't know but he was on the onset of having neurological issues) the front desk ladies brushed it off and said it was nothing and just stress. I thought at the time maybe they know cus they see so many animals. I should have demanded and advocated for my cat better. He ended up at urgent care and Emergency Center. He has permanent damage now. I felt like I was NOT given enough choices other than just fear of "well hes older". They couldnt get blood on him but the urgent vet care could easily do it. Last straw was my senior pom was having issues with coughing and started having what I was told were seizures. These started for about a year. 1 chest xray was done last summer and he stated minor issues, bronchitus probably, after some treatments and he stated "dogs cough". Nothing else was found. Fast forward to seizures happening more often. I brought it up while bringing in above cat mentioned and he stated to just give gabopentin (pain med/seizure med) without even seeing him again. 2 weeks later. I'm sitting in the vet emergency room and I find out my pom has sever congestive heart failure in both chambers of the heart. I'm beyond livid. Hes still in ciritical care and needing so much treatment. All of which could have been prevented if it was seen earlier. All my concerns get brushed off and I get no explanation or options or anything on what to do with my animals. I understand most of the time people might want the bare minimum but I need to know all the options. I want to be proactive with them. These animals are my kids... Whenever they call they NEVER leave voicemails. So frustrating. I can't say how heartbroken and livid I am. Seriously it's been said many times in other reviews and I see why - the front desk lady Pam, needs an adjustment. Almost all my pets she states "end of life" and dismisses so many concerns. I didn't appreciate the way she made me feel crazy for my cat circling even though she knew NOTHING about him. Saying "well he can only see out of one eye"... maam he is blind. She keeps calling my animals by the wrong sex. And it's infuriating. I'm absolutely done with them. Last straw. This place cost me the most important thing I have: time with my animals. RIP my dear Raja, I failed you by trusting the wrong people. I will not fail the others.

Took our puppy to the ER Vet they found he had a bowel obstruction, gave him an IV & sent him home hoping he would pass the object by morning! No, he didn't pass the object. We called Dr. Huff's office at 8am, they told us to bring him in now! Dr. Huff examined him, looked at the ER Vets xrays and notes and did surgery and removed a sock from his bowel! On day 4 our puppy is home & eating & drinking! Dr. Huff called us twice a day on his progress, even had us come in to try & feed him, which worked! Dr. Huff & his staff are very helpful, caring and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Midway Animal Hospital in Bowling Green! Thank you Dr. Huff & Staff, Jim, Judy & their dog Raylan

We've waited over an hour and a half to be seen because they double and one time even triple booked. Another aspect I don't care for is that they allow other pet owners to let their pets run/roam around on extended leashes which allows them to get in the faces of other animals. My little guy gets rather antsy when it comes to the vet and it doesn't help when another animal is in his face. The waiting room is dingy and extremely outdated. The staff can be hit and miss when it comes to their overall esthetic. Some can be rather inviting while others don't even extend a hello. We are currently looking for a new vet, especially after our last visit. Time for an upgrade to an establishment that is more accommodating and kind!
