According to the locals, this is a bigger store than the regular ones. If I get a chance to visit a regular store, I'll confirm, lol. This one does have 2 levels, and you can take the lift (elevator) or the escaltors escalators. The escalator going down wasn't working the times I've been, but just walk down anyway. They have cashiers for check out as well as self check-out lanes. Prices here are awesome! I'm a huge fan of their bakery bread and the snacks. Their sparkling water game is pretty strong, too. Don't be shocked if I check in here again, lol!

If you're around Liverpool, Tesco's of all versions are dotted around places: metro, local, express, superstore. If there are any more, you'll have to let me know! The Liverpool One branch of Superstore is not actually the most super I have come across in Liverpool as there is one in Litherland which is gargantuan in comparison. However, Liverpool One Tesco is certainly what the town needs. You still have plenty of choice here, a variety of sections such as deli, clothes and international foods to keep you adding more to your basket! I find this place more of a relaxing and enjoyable shopping experience as opposed to the Metro version by the big screen, because its more spacious and offers an abundance of products. The location isn't great if you're driving there as it'll cost you pounds to park somewhere nearby but certainly convenient when you have other chores to do around town.

It is fabulous, it is a shame that the other reviewer got nothing more from the experience than a packet of out of date biscuits, which although wrong if true is surprising based on what the place is like and the astounding range of foods in there. No good for Chinese or Thai ingredients but that is already well catered for here... really recommend, excellent butcher and with fresh bread being baked and sold in there it really is worth a look

It's a new store and has only been around for several months. It is proving to be immensely popular and definitely holds its own against the other local supermarkets, Sainsbury and Tesco. It's a large store, very easy to navigate around and although it can get busy, it is so spacious that it doesn't seem crowded. The layout makes for a very pleasant shopping experience and it is easy to find everything that you want. Aldi has certainly shed its bargain image, this store is very smart, modern, shiny and new! There are some great bargains to be had. They print a weekly specials leaflet, offering everything from homewares to clothing and DIY equipment. I recently bought a Medion notebook from this Aldi and its one of the best purchases I have ever made! The staff are excellent in this store, the security guard on the door always seems cheerful and ready to help. The staff on the tills are chirpy and friendly and staff on the floor and around the store are more than willing to help out. Overall, one of the best things to ever happen to the area!

The staff are lovely and always willing to point you in the right way. The bakery in there is worth going to on its own. its just fab. The gingerbread and other dessert are sooo nice. They also make all there homemade bread and biscuits which are lovely. Sainsburys also do necters points which we save up for lots of goodies, last year we saved up enough for 2 of us to go to alton towers free which was great.

The cafe has been relocated to the new upper floor but is woefully short of toilets, a whole two and they're both intended for the diasbled however a wheelchair user would need to run the gauntlet of the tray carrying cafe customers and the closely placed tables in order to use them. To say the layout wasn't very well thought out is a bit of an understatement. Unfortunately the store also has a thriving home delivery service which has expanded into the carpark. Shoppers use the free parking spaces at Tesco to visit the newly built Eagles Meadow Shopping Mall which is opposite the store making parking in what was already a small carpark almost impossible on a saturday. At peak times you'll be queuing to get in and queing to get out.

The cucumbers were the only down-side! Other great brands were Pixie washing up liquid, Runners crisps, Mice krispies and WeakSword beer! Go on Stoke! Toilet Wipes for chubbers! They were what we came for! Condoms for kids are also top of the range! But the till attendents, Jesus Christ! I could have been out the door with my stuff by the time they scanned one thing!... DIOLCH AM SIOPA HEFO ALDI. SPEND A LITTLE - LIVE A LOT (ALDI UK). Aldi encourages people to bring their own shopping bags instead of using plastic bags. Bought milk, mineral water, wheat beer, coffee (no, not instant ;-)), and more. It made a huge difference to my shopping in Machynlleth moneywise. I also got fresh fruit here! Since life in Wales is expensive one has to go here unfortunately really.
