This one does have 2 levels, and you can take the lift (elevator) or the escaltors escalators. The escalator going down wasn't working the times I've been, but just walk down anyway. They have cashiers for check out as well as self check-out lanes. Prices here are awesome! I'm a huge fan of their bakery bread and the snacks. Their sparkling water game is pretty strong, too. Don't be shocked if I check in here again, lol!

The Liverpool One branch of Superstore is not actually the most super I have come across in Liverpool as there is one in Litherland which is gargantuan in comparison. However, Liverpool One Tesco is certainly what the town needs. You still have plenty of choice here, a variety of sections such as deli, clothes and international foods to keep you adding more to your basket! I find this place more of a relaxing and enjoyable shopping experience as opposed to the Metro version by the big screen, because its more spacious and offers an abundance of products. The location isn't great if you're driving there as it'll cost you pounds to park somewhere nearby but certainly convenient when you have other chores to do around town.

It is fabulous, it is a shame that the other reviewer got nothing more from the experience than a packet of out of date biscuits, which although wrong if true is surprising based on what the place is like and the astounding range of foods in there. No good for Chinese or Thai ingredients but that is already well catered for here... really recommend, excellent butcher and with fresh bread being baked and sold in there it really is worth a look

The cafe has been relocated to the new upper floor but is woefully short of toilets, a whole two and they're both intended for the diasbled however a wheelchair user would need to run the gauntlet of the tray carrying cafe customers and the closely placed tables in order to use them. To say the layout wasn't very well thought out is a bit of an understatement. Unfortunately the store also has a thriving home delivery service which has expanded into the carpark. Shoppers use the free parking spaces at Tesco to visit the newly built Eagles Meadow Shopping Mall which is opposite the store making parking in what was already a small carpark almost impossible on a saturday. At peak times you'll be queuing to get in and queing to get out.

This Tesco is unique because it is the largest Tesco I have ever been to and it sells a wide range of products and offers extra departments such as electrical, digital photo printing and also has a cafeteria which is ideal for families and friends. In addition, it has the usual delicious bakery, deli, fish and meat sections and hosts a clothes section. Toilets are easily accessible as well as disabled. The number of tills does not fall short and there is the option of self-service checkout with all the space you require. All this means it's your shop-in-one! Another plus to mention is that car parking is spacious. There are trolley bays everywhere with zebra crossings for pedestrians so access to and from the supermarket which is ideal.

As well as food, there's a massive clothing section which actually has some nice stuff, a huge electrical section and lots of kitchenware. It feels like somewhere you could do a massive home shop. To suit it's size there are lots of checkouts and always lots of staff so even at the busiest times you're not waiting too long to get served. The shift from one of the cheapest chains to one of the most expensive was somewhat of a shock to locals (particularly those who couldn't drive to the local Tesco behemoth on the edge of town) how would they be able to afford the prices at the boutique of supermarkets? It was as though the water board had replaced their tap water with Chanel No.5 and was expecting them to foot the bill. Having done a couple of shops here though I can confirm that it is nowhere near as expensive as people seem to think, particularly if you are prepared to shop from the 'essentials' range (the John Lewis food version of 'smart price', 'basics' or 'value') which offers a broad range of products from pork sausages to toilet paper at a fraction of the cost of named or premium own-brand products and, unlike the larger supermarket no-frills ranges the quality is certainly comparable to the more expensive stuff, even if it might not look as pretty. There is a decent fresh produce section here (although I would suggest you head to nearby independent greengrocers, Cassidy's, which stocks a wider and finer range) but the bakery is disappointing, with bread arriving in store part-baked rather than baked from fresh each day and cakes which look a lot nicer than they actually taste. Also in this branches favour is the reliability of the layout - in contrast to when the store was owned by Morrisons when shelves seemed to shuffle on an almost weekly basis.

Bought milk, mineral water, wheat beer, coffee (no, not instant ;-)), and more. It made a huge difference to my shopping in Machynlleth moneywise. I also got fresh fruit here! Since life in Wales is expensive one has to go here unfortunately really.
