Extremely Disruptive and Disrespectful…read more This bar has become a serious problem for the surrounding neighborhood. The unruly behavior from some of the patrons, including people arguing and causing disturbances out in the streets, has been incredibly disruptive and frightening for my family. We are trying to sleep at night because we have jobs and responsibilities in the morning, yet we are repeatedly being subjected to loud arguments and disturbances outside. It is especially upsetting when this behavior scares my children in our own home. I understand that bars can be busy and people are going to have a good time, but there needs to be some consideration for the families and residents who live nearby. This level of disruption is completely unacceptable and has seriously affected our quality of life. I sincerely hope the owners and management take responsibility for what is happening outside their establishment and address it immediately. If this continues, I hope the city seriously considers whether this business belongs in a residential area at all. We deserve to feel safe and be able to sleep peacefully in our own homes.

During the holidays they have one of the best hot buttered rums I've ever had. Most recently, we've enjoyed their live karaoke (you get to perform with a live band) which makes for a pretty epic experience, the addition of local bands performing in the back of the bar, and the pop up Double Barrel BBQ with the amazing Lorenzo cookin' it up (yes to the smash burger, grilled cheese, and chocolate chip dipped cookie). Dimmed lighting, curtained photo booth, booth/bar stool seating..simply the best. Recently popped in and noticed new napkins with their logo and pretty menus with new creative cocktails/fun, localish names. Looking forward to the future of this bar, rock on!

We sat at the high tables in the bar, which is quite nice. I ordered the Capalinni Pomodoro with Prawns which was huge and extremely tasty. I cannot emphasize enough that this is a really great place. It's well run, clean and modern, with really nice bathrooms as well. Check it out.

Convenient to get to from 80 or from Orinda taking San Pablo Dam Road. I went to PJ's with a group of eight. Service: the service is friendly from the time you walk in the door. Once at the table, water is poured immediately and the staff provides you with adequate time to review the menu. The staff is happy to answer any questions you might have regarding the items on the menu or the specials. Once you order, the food arrives in a timely manner depending on what you order Food: we started with the charcuterie plate which had a great balance of mortadella, prosciutto and other Italian sliced meats, olives, cheeses and toasted bread. So delicious! I was already full before my meal got to the table. For my main dish, I had the salmon in piccata sauce served with vegetables and either mashed potatoes or polenta. I had the potatoes. My dish was delicious. The piccata sauce had just the right flavor highlighted by the perfect tang of lemon. Others at our table ordered a variety of pastas: Fettuccine Alfredo, Capellini Pomodoro, fried calamari and a shrimp dish. Everyone enjoyed their dishes. For dessert, we shared the pineapple upside down cake and a berry cobbler. The dessert were outstanding as well. I want to go back to try their other desserts. Ambiance: it's a lovely restaurant. It's clean and feels like you're sitting around your own dining table with friends or family but with someone really nice there to serve you. I am looking forward to my next meal at PJ's.

This was very nice; it was very spacious and offers outdoor patio with tiki vibes! Our group was able to snag the outdoor patio upstairs! Other people were free to also hang out in the patio too, but because we got there early and our group was big, we were able to put the tables together and it really just felt like we were the only ones there; very intimate. There is a pool table and a bar on the second floor, so you don't have to go back downstairs. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They provided great customer service and came by to our table to pick up empty glasses. There was an incident that happened where a man was taking pictures of people in the bar and he came outside to the patio and started taking photos of our group, which we felt very uncomfortable about. We alerted staff and they were able to handle the situation and came back to check on us. They don't serve food here, but they do allow you to bring food from other places! That was very convenient because we were already comfortable and didn't want to leave to go somewhere else. Tacos El Autlense is a 5 min walk away and it's one of my fave places to get tacos; that's where we got our food at! I literally had it the night before too hahaha, but I wasn't complaining! This place was so cute; the music, the ambiance, the service... a whole vibe!!! I would definitely come back.

It was a beautiful weekend evening and we sat in a room adjacent to the main bar in super comfy lounge chairs. This room is where karaoke and other events take place. There's great ventilation, and it's just quite honestly a great space to chill with friends, and also observe all the fun Richmond memorabilia. We also sat in the outdoor space, a super nice garden area that is well-kept and a great option to enjoy on these beautiful sunny days. I had a watermelon margarita and it was so fresh & tasty, I thought it was already summer! Friendly staff and environment filled with regulars and newcomers alike. They seem to have food trucks regularly, and we ordered food to-go from the Brazilian truck outside. Deliciously unique! There's also a few spots nearby you can bring food in from (an ice cream/waffle shop next door and Tacos El Tucan too). We took a ride share, but street parking is available. Looking forward to coming on an event night to catch the local vibes.

The server was off tops, amazing and thorough with everything. We glanced over at the menu and decided what we wanted. As far as drinks, we had the Oaxacan old fashioned, blue rabbit margarita, ultima palabra and tequila sour. Every single drink the bartender crafted was top tier, amazing, refreshing and delicious. Place is not extremely huge, but it's definitely good enough to fit about a total of about 50 people at a time. I could be wrong. I also love how there is outdoor seating as you're at a beachside shore bar. Parking was extremely easy and I found a spot in the parking lot. I've heard some complaints about parking but that is something that the facility just cannot control. Parking wise has nothing to do with them as there is 25 parking spots in the parking lot as well as any street parking that you're more than welcome to find. I truly hope this place receives the recognition it deserves and it brings more business as well. I will definitely be back and will be bringing back more friends and family as well.
