We were looking for a restaurant with a TV and the soccer game on. We got that and more! The food was delicious. Cheese ball appetizer with sour cream, halibut & chips & meat lovers pizza. It was all wonderful and then topped off with deep fried cheesecake & ice cream. Our waitress was so nice & helpful. She let us take our time so we could watch the game. It was a relaxed casual atmosphere with a lot of locals. Only one tv but you could see it from every table. Hope we can return again! read more

This was a good, honest kitchen in a small town. The fish and french fries were very well done. On our journey we had encountered some eateries that were cutting a few corners to make life a bit more manageable and this was not one of those. The fries were cut by hand on location and tasted like it. The pickerel was fresh. The ambiance is on the modest side, but if you're on the road on the north side of Lake Superior, this is a place worth knowing. Service was especially friendly too. read more

Nice service, good food, cozy atmosphere. We stopped here for a quick bite, on our way from Sault Ste. Marie to Red Rock. Indoor dining is open, but due to COVID-19 the seating is limited. The place is clean, the owner is nice and foods are good. We had House Burgers, really nicely prepared. read more

Staff was friendly. Food was fairly good. Asked for fries to be extra crispy and when delivered they looked and tasted like yesterday's fries microwaved. But they were served with gravy which was pretty tasty and vinegar which I had never tried before -that was what saved the fries. I ordered a Reuben which was toasted with cheese. I'm not sure I would go out of my way to come again but it wasn't bad. read more

We ate at this lovely place on 2 different occasions while we were in Wawa. (once on our trip to Thunder Bay and the second on our return trip to southern Ontario.) I can't say enough about the food and the service. Both times I ate one of the daily specials. Pickerel once and whitefish the second time. Hubby had the burger and a chicken sandwich. Everything was prepared well and priced fairly. Huge shoutout to Victoria for sharing the history of this amazing place. Big love to Diane for treating us like family! I even got a hug when we were leaving! Would definitely eat here again if we were up in that part of Ontario! read more

horrible service, food took over a hour and half to come out. i ordered a T-bone steak which was very overcooked and quite thin. our waiter only came once to our table which was to give us our drinks. the lighting was good along with the decor, the chairs were comfortable, but we were a group of 4 that got sat down at a very small table leaving almost zero room for anything else to be on the table besides the food and drinks. read more

Stopp34piHSied on a road trip. Were craving pizza. BIG MISTAKE!!!!! Ordered Hawaiian pizza -- pineapples were not cooked.. Cheese was incredibly thick. Cheese was chewy. If you want raw uncooked chicken this is the place to go. I ordered chicken parmeasan and the chicken was chewy and raw. When they replaced it after much trouble it was dry with no sauce or cheese. I commented to the waitress DEBBIE (no class with this waitress) about this fact and she told me to scrape the sauce and cheese off the raw chicken that they had left on sit on the table. TOTALLY DISGUSTING!!!! We will NEVER eat there again. GOOD LUCK & don't get Debbie for your waitress!!!!! read more

Really good salad bar, lots of variety! Ribs were really tasty, meat fell off the bone! I had sauce and kraut sandwich, excellent! Fries were out of this world. Cooked to perfection! Tables and chairs were brand new. Bathroom was extremely clean, as well as the restaurant! read more

I stopped here based on previous reviews. Not a bad restaurant. I had the wings with the honey garlic sauce and the medium sauce. Sauces were very good. I also had fresh cut fries, which were also good and lots. I would eat here again. read more

Unexpected surprise! I had the homemade turkey noodle soup and Ruben wrap. The soup was just like I would have made it. With nice big chunks of turkey and lots of flavour. The wraps were made like the chef took pride in it. I really wish I had room left to try the homemade deserts. I wish this place was closer to home. read more

Very good food, best place in Wawa to go during its season. Food is fresh and always well made and presented.

We have stopped there many times during our trips north......never disappointed! The food is just like I would make. Their soups are outstanding. Had a chick wrap the last time and it was very delicious. My husband enjoys their burgers. The service is something special when we walk in the door it is like visiting family. Owner does an amazing job of bonding with the customers and calling them by name. We only see her twice a year and she always calls us by name when we walk in. The place is clean and restrooms always very very clean. Look forward to dining there each year as we pass thru WaWa heading north and on our return south. read more
