This approaching $20 where we are from. $14.82 for a 2 piece fish and chips (again generous portions) Soda is out of a can. No fountain drinks and beer from bottles also, no drafts. I mentioned to Parachand that we ordered two onion rings and he looked and me and said no I ordered fries and my wife ordered onion rings. My wife said no we both ordered onion rings. As the fellow stood there stunned fo about 15 seconds, I gave up and just took the bacon and eggs. I would say that I don't recommend this restaurant when driving through White River, but it's your only option if you don't want to spend $20 for breakfast. Ultimately, there are no good options for food in White River. If you're heading south and can hold off another hour, I'd seriously suggest passing right through to Wawa.

There was mold on the ceiling in the shower and also in the main room. Along with that the main office area also smelt like it had mold issues. We did not notice the mold until the morning since we got in so late and basically went to sleep right away. I brought this issue up to the owner and he told me I should have checked the room first and tried to just give me some cash back to get me to leave. I was shocked at his reaction to the situation. We booked based off of the photos online which make it look very nice. Unfortunately those photos are most likely from a long time ago as the place is run down and needs major work to restore it. The resturant they had signs for wasn't open and the cabins looked like they were falling apart. Never experienced something like this in my life and I have stayed at hotels/motels all across Canada my entire life.

Realistically, wouldn't management have fixed that within a month? It's clear they're just cutting corners at this point. Don't even get me started on the state of the bathrooms. Let's just say if I included that here, I'd probably get banned from Yelp. It's that bad. Honestly, Wawa would be better off opening another gas station that serves coffee in this spot.
