Great place to visit alone, on a date or in a group. If you are invited Jardins area, definitely make it a point to come here. Otherwise, you may want to skip it as traffic to get here from other parts of town tends to be heavy.
Best thing: the view of São Paulo at night. It is absolutely stunning to see this other "concrete jungle" through all ~270 degrees this rooftop offers. For me, it may be worth the traffic to come here again. Just sayin'
The OK thing: drinks are average, and not too expensive if the USD exchange rate is above R$3.50; otherwise, it can seem pricey as SP usually tends to be - like any other large city in Latin America nowadays. Caipirinhas (Brazil's "national drink") are OK at best; I've had much better elsewhere in SP. if you haven't tried one, please stop reading and go get one - forthwith.
The not-so-good things: service is spotty, for one. Not bad, not good - inconsistent. Also, they charge a R$22 cover after 9:00 PM for "entertainment" that they don't tell you about, so beware. I was there only half hour before the live music ended, so I didn't end up getting charged.
The vibe: tame, romantic, relaxing after a long day. Great for a nightcap and interesting conversation, as it is not loud - at least on weekdays!
Bottom line: a worthwhile visit if you want to experience a NYC or LAS-style city views. Everything else here is average for the area and for SP itself.
