I had an incident with my kitty cat. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They were one of the few vets open (and easy to get a hold of) on a Sunday.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I promptly got in after calling ahead, Kristie was supremely kind and nice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Pumpkin received quick care. Dr Gribble and staff made me feel like my animal received good care. Which is nice, amidst the anxious feelings you get when your pet is hurt. Would recommend and use again.

The Vet on 4th staff is wonderful...from the front desk, technicians to the Vets! They take the time necessary to explain treatments, plans, medications, preventive care and surgeries. In an emergency, you are definitely priority, with all hands on deck providing excellent care and have ready access to state of the art equipment to meet your pets needs. I'm grateful for them as well as the extended hours. Thank you Vet On 4th for always taking such good care of my fur babies.

Dog and Pony show to up charge you. Vet Scammers. Horrible place. After looking on google found out the doctor had let his license go and got caught. My dog had gone there a year ago. We took him for his Rabies shot and Kennel Cough shot, he had an ear infection and skin tags. I got an initial estimate of $145 dollars. Then my husband took my dog there and He was given a sheet of paper with all sorts of tests and shots including Parvo. I had relayed to the vet clinic over the telephone that we had bad experiences with the Parvo shot and didn't want our animals to get it. I also made another appointment for my other puppy dog. Then my husband was told all the Vet bill was $277 dollars. He protested about the parvo shot and was told it was another shot that had adverse side effects and that they would keep that part out of his annual shot cocktail. My husband doesn't know anything about dogs; he expected professional assessment of his dog and so when He told me the up-charge and increase of the vet bill by $150 dollars in unnecessary evaluation of my spoiled dog; you bet I was upset and I immediately called the vet clinic of 4th Street to hear my anger. I was then told by my husband that the older woman with glasses and white hair opened the door to his room and asked if he was in contact with his wife over the phone? He stated Yes and then she told him that she was screaming on the phone and that I needed to deal with her since it was his fault for agreeing to the vet assessment and implying he was the idiot. My husband didn't want to lose his cool and said nothing. Upon closing the door, she directly looked at him and told him,"You need to deal with her." and then closed the door. He paraphrased to me that She told him to "Check" his wife. Upon the completion of the dog appointment, my husband was paying the $285 dollar Vet bill that was supposed to be $145 estimate and he addressed the two women in the front of the Un-professionalism and didn't appreciate the "Sass" he received from the white haired one. They then spoke over him to tell him that his wife had no right to scream at them and yell at them over the telephone. He stated she had every right to be upset of her displeasure with the Vet clinic and their up-charge schemes. My husband has never been treated so poorly and he certainly wasn't going to have two strange ladies that didn't know where he was spending good money on his beloved dog talk poorly to him and his wife. Then the front desk person had the nerve to ask me about our other dog appointment for the next day. Really??? BTW, took him to another vet because his ear was bothering him again, she said it was badly infected, which when my wife called was the main reason for him going to the vet. How did they miss it? Too busy up charging and scamming,

They are not staffed 24/7. The Dr leaves at 10pm. Take down that 24 hour sign. The techs there after hours can do nothing.

I was quoted a price for treatment a two days of recovery. my dog laid on a table for hours supposedly waiting on a qualified vet that I never seen. They never did the procedure a charges my card as if they did. it waa the same price I was quoted for the surgery that never happened a vet never showed up. this place really needs to be shit down. Thesw unqualified people decided instead of telling me there was no one qualified the euthanized my dog and tried to pretend as if she died on the operating table. She was never prepped for surgery. There was no shaving over her tummy no cut, no stitches. She was never ever going to even have a surgery they decided.was money and that's what they did My dog took my money. These people are murderers. I had that dog for seven years. She was deaf. She was my baby my best friend. She died December 31, 2023. My life has not been the same I ever see this girl. I've done this to my dog in the streets well we can all just draw our own opinion I I hope and pray that no one ever takes their animal that's in need of help to this place because they can't do no more than I could've done at home. There are a bunch of students that don't have they don't have a clue nor a heart they need to be shut down and if it's the last thing I do, I will make sure of that for my dog Dee if anyone has any issues similar or have lost an animal to this place To this place negligent, behavior or inadequate staff or any other type of that might help me get this place shut down contact me at deez79801@icloud.com or deez79801@yahoo.com or deez79801@gmail.com

Monroe Local Guide·27 reviews·9 photos…read more a week ago New I went in today to get my 10 year-old Golden Retriever his vaccines that were needed. I tried calling beforehand. Nobody would answer the phone. I tried calling several times no answer so we went in. It was 1:50 PM.The door was wide open with no cars in the parking lot. When I walked in the girl at the front demanded what do you need? I responded my animal needs vaccines. She retorted back aggressively "I need this clipboard back before two". She had an aggressive turse rough demeanor. I said no problem. I turned it back into her at 1:55. She rolled her eyes without looking at me and said "what's his name" again in a very abrupt manner. I had missed a little box off to the right side that I didn't see. I filled that out, put his name on that he was male and his age. handed the clipboard back and she said go sit down. Will call you when he's ready. We were the only ones in the waiting room. Nobody else was in there. After a minute or two of sitting there they called him back. The girl asked me a few questions if he had any seizures or allergic reactions to vaccines, but she never introduced herself, said anything to Bentley or us other than ask us if he'd have ever had any seizures or allergic reactions to vaccines. She said, hold his head, turn his butt. Very aggressive and angry. I didas directed then she said, hold his head straight up in the air nose pointed to the ceiling, which I did, she shoved the Bordetella vaccine in his nose. The entire staff acted as if they were all angry at someone or something. He's a golden retriever, very kind and 10 years old. She treated him in a very aggressive unaffectionate way towards the animal, as if it was his fault she was there. I have been there several times before and never been treated in this manner. I will pay more to go to a regular veterinarian. If you care about your animal and more about the animal than the cost, I highly recommend not going there. these employees who don't wear name tags that I saw don't introduce themselves and treat the animals in a very aggressive way in front of me. I can imagine what they do when the owners aren't there. They should not be working there around animals. Shame on all of them. It's becoming very evident there's something going on with upper management at this particular establishment and it's trickling down to the public employee. my husband and I are both nurses. I'm an RN. I've been in healthcare 40 years recently retired now. If I treated my patients and family the way they treated us and their patient.( my golden) I wouldn't have a job very long. Management allows this to happen

NO call or text back. never received any call or text actually. I had to take my dog to our local vet, he had a fever and a hematoma in the scrotum, received medication and told to watch the black area, should not be black! now back to the vet again because the stitches came out early and the black scrotal tissue has died and is separating from the upper 2/3 of the scrotum! BAD surgery! please avoid Animal Protection League!!! just don't trust them and their alleged vets!

I explicitly…read morerequested an appointment with Dr. Hammons, a request that was completely ignored by the front-desk staff without any warning or communication. Instead, I was blindsided and paired with Dr. Bibbs--a veterinarian I have had profoundly negative experiences with in the past and specifically avoid. As a natural doctor and nutritionist with 20 years of experience in holistic medicine, I treat highly sensitive, complex animals that do not fit into a conventional box. I came into this appointment looking for a professional collaboration. Instead, Dr. Bibbs met me with rigid resistance, an incredibly closed-minded approach to care, and unnecessary negativity regarding my dog's future, rather than giving the animal hope and a renewal at life. Multiple questions I specifically came in to get answered were completely ignored. I was also met with extreme pushback regarding aggressive vaccine protocols being forced for basic procedures, completely disregarding individualized, safer health approaches for highly sensitive animals. This clinic has wonderful practitioners--Dr. Hammons and Dr. Lockhart are excellent and open-minded--but Dr. Bibbs lacks basic empathy. Years ago, I dealt with her after my previous companion was misdiagnosed by another vet --a soul dog who was by my side through my darkest health battles--which tragically delayed his cancer diagnosis. She gave me attitude rolled her eyes when I wanted to do things as holistically as possible and that I just needed the right diagnosis. One medicine where it actually helps and doesn't suppress and mask the problem only to create a layer unhealed. To make a traumatic situation worse, while he was under, she unfeelingly asked me over the phone if I was "sure" I wanted her to wake him up so I could see him. My animals are in exceptional hands, and I have a proven track record of successfully healing situations the conventional system gives up on. I will continue to utilize the doctors at Judson Road who actually have a heart and an open mind, but I will never allow Dr. Bibbs to touch another animal of mine. The front-desk staff must do better to ensure explicit client requests are honored so owners are not blindsided this way.

I called multiple vets on a Sunday--TVC was the first to respond and got us in right away. I had no idea I was about to meet the best veterinary team I've used in 40+ years. Dr. Nick McClimon is instinctively in tune with his patients and always takes the time to explain what's going on, walk through treatment options, and give honest recommendations--with the pet's best interest front and center. His staff is equally impressive: kind, efficient, and highly competent, treating every animal like their own. Last year Dr. Noor Faisal joined the practice, and she's absolutely wonderful--knowledgeable, compassionate, and gentle with both animals and humans. Pricing is fair and transparent--no upselling, ever. I've lost two senior dogs in the last five years. The compassion they showed me, and the tenderness they showed my dogs, helped me through both heartbreaking moments. I'm deeply grateful to this clinic and recommend them without hesitation.
