This particular suite is let-friendly and we brought the whole family and our goofy poodle. The owners Bill and Dana are such good hosts. Breakfast features multiple choices and included a made to order omelet one day, and pancakes on another. The strip of shops and restaurants in town is 5 minutes away. We ate at a pub called Locals on the evening we arrived and had possibly the best burger we've ever eaten. So many cute shops featuring local artists, antiques, etc. We'll return again and again.

Her dreams and expectations were exceeded in every possible way. My daughter and my son in law got engaged two years ago, they both live in Jacksonville, Florida. Since both families live in Baldwin County, they decided to have their wedding here. When we started looking for a venue, we were having a challenging time looking for the perfect place and a reasonable price. Until one day my co-worker told me she went to a wedding at Waters Edge, I right away went online and checked them. I decided to call and make an appointment. We met with Anita, she showed us around the place, and it was perfect they have a gorgeous establishment, covered pavilion with a fireplace for an outside ceremony and on the walkway to the pavilion there is an iron arbor that can be decorated on the day of the event. The property was big enough that you can choose anywhere on the property to have your ceremony. We then went to the reception area (barn) the place was very accommodating with lots of room and a nice bar. It has a rustic look with lots of old memorabilia. We sat with Anita, and we talked about everything that we needed to know. She was very knowledgeable and experienced with events. We discussed our options as a family, and we decided to go with Waters Edge. As the mother of bride, I had so much on my mind and worried about everything after talking with Anita, she made me feel at ease and assured me that she would help us give our daughter an elegant and very memorable wedding for our princess. We met every month to discuss our progress towards the event. At every meeting we discussed what needed to get done. Anita made recommendations for us to adjust as time progressed, she kept me and my daughter on our toes. She was very pleasant to work with and accommodating to all our needs. Anita and her team were amazing!! Also want to say thank you to the bartender Rebecca, her staff and our Disc Jockey (Anita's husband) for keeping the drinks and music going and accommodating our family and designated friends with special drink requests!! Where do I even begin?…read more We had our wedding at Garden & Grain this weekend and it was absolutely flawless. I have to start with the most important parts of our day which were Cara & Jadyn, our event coordinators and Nick & Jesse, our bartenders. Cara and Jadyn were literal earth-movers and magic makers. These two helped us get everything decorated and torn down with absolute ease (and we had an awful lot of decor we brought in.) By the time we moved into the ceremony, Jadyn was everywhere ensuring we started when we were ready, the guests were ready for us to enter, and just made us feel so at ease. We heard from so many guests that they didn't even realize the chairs got moved from the garden into the grainhouse between because it was so fast and flawlessly executed. These folks were so stealthy bringing 75 chairs between different spaces. Bravo. Our caterer was just arriving as we were about the walk the aisle. We had no idea the chaos that was ensuing behind the scenes that Jadyn and the team worked out as quickly as possible and without our guests even recognizing there was a delay in the start time of the food service. Obviously catering is a huge part of the day, and it would have been so stressful had we realized they were 30+ minutes behind. The execution of our wedding could not have happened flat out without these two wonderful people. We are so grateful for you both, Cara and Jadyn. You deserve all the praise in the world and are absolutely amazing event coordinators. Oh, and Jadyn, thanks for never letting us have a drink less than half full - your impeccable attention to detail is what every event coordinator should strive for. Now, the other critical aspect to a wedding is bar service. Nick and Jesse had those drinks flowing non stop all night. There was never a guest waiting in line or without a drink from before the ceremony to last moments. Our guests were complimenting all night on how amazing the bar service was. We are a family with one side from New Orleans, we know how to party and going into it with 2 bartenders for 75 people who know how to have a good time was an anxiety for us, but there was not a single mishap in the bar service and we couldn't have asked for a better experience for our guests or us. Not to mention, every time I looked at Nick or Jesse, they were both smiling and so happy to be there with us - it meant a lot to feel like your vendors were a part of your wedding. The space lent itself so naturally to our ceremony and reception. It was beautiful, cozy, clean, and just 100% our vibe. Our guests also complimented all night on what a cool venue we had. If you're thinking about booking an event, particularly a wedding here, don't hesitate. There's not a dang thing I would change about Garden & Grain, Perfect Plain and the people they had assisting us and our guests throughout the event. Being able to look back and see how smoothly things ran is every Bride's dream, and without a doubt you will have the same experience that we did here. This was a company functioning n for the Emergency Response Team for my plant. It was a buffet…read morestyle dinner. They food was good. Not the best steak I've ever had but it was ok. Presentation on everything was great. Then began the show. It was a Murder Mystery Theater. The actors actually interacted with the audience considerably. The acting was acceptable all things considered. Over all the production was a little on the drawn out side, every bit of 2 hours or more from the time we got there. But I would definitely do it again, and probably will fairly soon. It was actually pretty fun and very entertaining.

The large living area upstairs was perfectly appointed. I felt like I was at home. But better since all of the decorations and amenities during the holidays were so magical and beautiful. It has a kitchen and everything else we needed for a comfy stay. The balcony upstairs is fabulous and extends the full length of the lofty bedroom. Perfect place to chill and curl up with my favorite book in one of the rocking chairs. I so needed this break from the norm. Can't wait to book Little Point Clear again for our next event.
