For dinner we had the Chicken, Scallops, Pork Chop, and Shrimp and Grits. The carrot puree that held the scallops was so smooth, sweet, and rich. It complimented the scallops perfectly. My shrimp and grits were fantastic. The grits were the perfect texture, and the shrimp cooked to perfection. The bone in pork chop was perfectly cooked, was seasoned so well, and extremely tender and juicy. I think I was most impressed with the chicken, sweet potatoes, and bacon jam. It's hard to explain but the bourbon bacon jam almost tasted like how it smells when they smoke a cocktail, in the best way. The sweet potatoes tasted incredible and balanced out the savory chicken. I really can't recommend this resteraunt enough. From the food, to the service and the ambiance, everything was fantastic. I've dined at a handful of Michelin starred resteraunts and the overall quality and completion of the dishes here easily competes and surpasses those experiences.
