First, I have to admit I am a temporary resident living here through a temporary housing subcontractor. This might be part of the problem, so I'll write a review for that business as well; however, a few things:
1. The apartments do not have wood floors - they are laminate.
2. Forget using the pool - it's always packed with people drinking.
3. Refer to #2 - it's quite noisy if your apartment is by the pool.
4. There is a lot of food scraps everywhere on the grounds, which is bad if you have an animal.
5. There is no grass on site for animals.
6. There is some animal escrement around the property that doesn't get picked up.
7. Parking can be challenging - they need more spaces, so pay the extra for an assigned spot.
8. Fitness center is good, but it's still new.
9. I had one instance where management allowed a contractor in my apartment without prior notification. I have yet to see if the issue has been resolved, but here is a redacted copy of my letter:

Re: Cease All Entries #REDACTED
Dear Sir or Ma'am:
On June 6, 2013, pursuant to Chapter 92 of the Texas Property Code and related case law, you have made one or more unauthorized entries into my apartment (herein "the leased premises"). Furthermore, you:
a. did not give an appropriate advanced notice of the proposed entry within a reasonable time and
b. did not enter the premises at my request or with my approval.
When I contacted your management at the leased premises I was looking for an apology and assurance that this would not happen again. Instead, I was combatively told that:
a. allegedly an email was sent to a third party giving advance notice of the entry, and
b. your company did not have a responsibility to notify me personally let alone in to notify me in advance.
I believe I have a reasonable expectation of privacy that includes notification directly to me, a tenant in your building, that your employees will be entering the leased premise. Furthermore, I believe I have a reasonable expectation that said notification be posted on my door and not by email (particularly to a third party).
In addition, I believe I have a reasonable expectation that this notification should come from you regardless of who I pay (Corporate Comforts) given that:
a. the building is owned by you,
b. the inspectors who entered my apartment were presumably contracted by your company, and
c. it was presumably your employees who opened or gave access to my apartment to the inspectors.
Absent express language to the contrary, it is my understanding that "the law implies a promise by the landlord that the tenant will have peaceful, quiet enjoyment and use of the premises through the term of the lease and that the premises will be exclusively for the use of the tenant" .
It is my understanding that "the law also implies that a residential tenancy is presumed to be the home of the tenant during the term of the tenant. A breach of the right to use the premises entirely is a constructive eviction" .
"The Texas Supreme Court announced in Billings v. Atkinson, 489 S.W.2d 858, 859 (Tex. 1973) that every citizen has a right of privacy defined as 'the right to be left alone, [and] to live a life of seclusion'...There is no indication that the Court intended to excuse landlords from respecting the right to privacy held by tenants" .
While I recognize that "landlords have a right to inspect their property periodically and at reasonable times, these entries must be reasonable and must not interfere with a tenant's right of privacy and enjoyment of the premises. While you may own or manage the premises, you gave exclusive possessory rights to the premises to me alone. This is the very essence of being a tenant. Your entry breached my privacy and possessory rights" .
Further, even if a lease allows the landlord to enter the unit, the tenant has the right to deny the landlord access4. REDACTED I am exercising this right. I am certainly happy to accommodate your requests when advance notice is given to me personally so that I may make proper arrangements. Therefore, I request that you cease all entries into the premises without my express written authorization. If you fail to honor this request, I will consider taking legal action against you.
A copy of this letter has also been sent via email.
Thank you for your prompt attention.
