This place is horrible. The lady at the desk is very rude. I went to pay and the sign said be back in 15 minutes, I waited 45 minutes then finally gave up, this was in the middle of winter. Ended up still renting because of convenience(big mistake) well we had our own lock but they made us pay $10 for theirs. We drove really far back for our storage which didn't hold close to what they said and the worse part was the road was complete Ice! We were falling everywhere. You could tell they hadn't taken care of their road in a long time. They are just lucky nobody got hurt and sued! I will never go their again or rent a Uhaul from them! read more

Instead there is a half assed printed piece of paper saying the location was moved 25 MINUTES!! away. So we drive all the way over there to have a sign on the door tell us they are closed!!! I verified pick up time both by email and by phone the day before!!!!! We call the uhaul corporate division to get this sorted out. Now, our pick up time was 10am, 1040 am a lady pulls up in a beat up old Pontiac smoking a cigarette. She gets out of the car, wearing pajama bottoms, and asks us if we are here for the truck. All I say is yes and she heads inside. I refused to go inside and do business with this branch of uhaul. We instead drive the extra 45 min to get a truck somewhere else. This was an absolute nightmare. I am telling you that unless you want HOURS of your day wasted..... DO NOT USE THIS PLACE, I hesitate to call it a business.

Bottom line: go somewhere else, these people suck 1) plan a few extra minutes when calling them because it takes 3-4 calls for someone to answer, yet when I walked in the door a few mins later, very little was going on. 2) they listed the outgoing fuel level at 1/2 but when I got in, it was between 3/8 and 1/2 - shame on me for letting it slide... 3) regarding the trailer, the guy said something like "alright you're good to go everything's hooked up and checked" but when I got a few miles down the road another driver told me my trailer lights didn't work- had to go back and get a wire harness to connect the truck & trailer

They showed up with wrong work orders, Then the day of the move, they brought the wrong sized axles and claimed we didnt know what year our mobile home was cause their axles should have fit our year. They didnt even measure. So it did not get moved that day. They promised it would be moved the next day, well instead i got a phone call stating that they would not be moving it again and it would be "OK". I told them that we had contractors coming and that it wouldnt be "OK" to which they promptly hung up on me. Every quote they give constantly goes up and you lose services. I started in the $1400 range with everything done and ended up at $1643 without the trailer being tied down. To this day I am still waiting on them to move my mobile home. Do yourself a favor and avoid the headache. Go with a different mover.

The facility is armed with hand trucks, furniture dollies, and more to help make your move-in/out convenient and easy. Doug was incredibly friendly and accommodating. He was available and willing to walk us around to show us the different units available; we ended up selecting a 10x10 that fit all of our things perfectly. Conveniently, Lock Solid is an approved drop-off for U-Haul, so we drove our truck from Texas to here and hired some movers to unload the truck into the unit and just left it there. It literally does not get easier than that. And now, I have the peace of mind knowing my things are insured ($10/month) and won't get damaged from heat or humidity. The access hours are totally reasonable for whenever you need to add/remove. Greg helped us open our unit the first time when we needed help sliding the bolt open - he threw some WD-40 and opened it up with some pliers effortlessly. We pay roughly $160 a month to store our whole life in there and it's a fair price to know our things are safe and sound and accessible basically any time. Thanks, Doug!

Do Not Use! This is…read morethe most unorganized business I have ever been to. We took a trailer there to be inspected and it took 2 weeks and 6 visits until we got it back. They charged $32 to screw on two small reflectors, rip off! And they also wanted to charge an additional $40 to weigh the trailer (we picked it up, drove it down the road, and weighed it for $4). I went in to fill out "paperwork" which my husband was told we had to come in to fill out before 6pm. When I got there the "paperwork" that had to be filled out was by the mechanic. So I stood there for 45 minutes waiting for him to come out of the garage to fill it out. When I took the paper work to be notarized he filled it out wrong so I had to call back and was told it would be ready for pick up Saturday morning. Well it's Saturday morning and my husband is standing in the office waiting for the man to come full out the paperwork again. The problem doesn't seem to be the owners or the work done on the vehicles, the problem lies with the ladies that run the office.
