I live in Philadelphia and I am very lucky to have a plethora of vape shops all around me. I successfully quit smoking and picked up a new hobby with vaping, so when I went to visit family in the Carbondale area I thought to purchase a starter kit for my dear uncle who's been a 2-pack a day smoker since I can remember. Well, turns out the 18mg juice I got him was too strong and he was choking to the point of being discouraged with using the item at all. Since vaping has become such a big part of my life, I always travel a little further for a good shop whether in search of something specific or just out of curiosity. When I found out there was a vape shop relatively nearby, I was elated and it only got better from there! I convinced him to come with me and try some flavors that he wouldn't choke on and also enjoy. I was so pleasantly surprised when I walked into the shop. It's large and very welcoming. The lounge is very nice and I like the way the juice bar is separate from the show case. The lady who helped us was very passionate and friendly and honestly, I think her enthusiasm really encouraged my uncle too -- she was middle-aged and I think it kind of showed my uncle that vaping wasn't just something "kids do" but a lifestyle for ex-smokers or all ages. She was very knowledgeable and helped him find a flavor and strength that was suited for him. He bought two bottles. I was very impressed with the store's inventory. Undoubtedly, they are basically running a monopoly on the vape game in this part of NEPA and yet they aren't skimping on their selection. They had a very expansive selection of vape pens, accessories, and mods and surprisingly, they had things I don't normally see. Some of their prices were much higher than I've seen before, but this can be expected when there is 0 competition. I also made a purchase. I also really like the wall of left behind cigarettes. It's downright inspiring and I think they give you a free bottle of juice if you leave your cigs behind which shows me it's less about the money and more about helping you commit to a healthy change. I've had 2 bad experiences there. First they sold me a faulty mod, then when I came in with a new mod and bought a coil they sold me the wrong coil. The tasting bar is good but the employees don't know ow the products they sell or they just don't care. DO NOT GO THERE! GO ELSEWHERE! read more

The new batch of employees they have there do NOT know what they are doing!! The employee I came into contact with yesterday (11:30am) told me wrong info then when another employee walked over she turned it around trying to make me look stupid! I called her out and she just kept trying to back talk! Very unprofessiona!! The women who waited on me the time before that told me it was fine to use a Vape with a broken seal (on top of the tank) well got home and every bit of juice had leaked. I wrote a review 4 months ago about vape boss, after a sting of bad experiences and after that I started looking for a different vape shop as I was completely done with the vape boss well there is not a lot of choices around here. I ended driving down to WB when I would need vape stuff, but I found the place to go. Union vapors 570 is the place to go. It is located 1945 Commerce blvd. Service, quality, selection is right on point and this will be my vape shop going forward. I urge everyone to try it. This review is based on a few trips into the store and then finding other stores in the area in between. It is being written as a comparison. My boyfriend and I found this store by chance. We had been vaping but with crappy supplies. We decided one day to go in. At first we liked the shop, staff and selection. So we decided to invest in what we thought were better tanks and batteries. In the meantime we noticed a few things with our new products. We decided to go back in a week later and ask some questions, which they said come back anytime with questions...so we did. We SHOULDN'T have. We were talked down to and lastly insulted by the owner's wife as she yelled across the store, "WHAT ARE YOU NOT HAPPY???". We proceeded to walk out. The following week we found a vape shop in Kingston, PA, Fog Vape. We ended up asking the same questions again and their staff kindly answered us and didn't make you feel like you were wasting their time. I also ended up buying a new Kanger Mini Pro Tank 3, which I LOVE. About 3 weeks later, we had to go back to Da Vape Boss. This time it is because the battery my boyfriend bought broke and my unit was burning through coils daily! My boyfriend was greeted with a sorry its past the 30 days. It was 32 to be exact. They offered $5 off a new battery. Me they gave me a new coil and said it was my tank. So I went to Fog Vape the next day explained what happened and they gladly exchanged it. In the meantime, I have been educating myself on what is out there in the vape world. From what I had been reading, it was possible my battery had been causing the issue. Not according to Da Vape Boss staff. I did the test that Fog Vape suggested and sure enough. It was my battery. So I thought instead of dealing with the rude staff at Da Vape Boss, I would go next door to Headdies to see what they have. Low and behold, I come to find out the battery I got at brand price at Da Vape Boss was a KNOCK OFF!!!!. I purchased a new brand name battery at Headdies for the price of the knock off. It works SO much better. The staff at Headdies was awesome! Not to mention I saw one of the employees of Da Vape Boss in Headdies buying supplies! What does that say about a store and their products!!! In the long run, it has been a learning experience. I stopped in to Vape Boss a month or two ago for some vaping supplies and to shop around for a new mod, and I was more than a little disappointed with my experience. The selection of merchandise here seems heavily tailored toward new, entry level vapers, with a wide range of E-Go style devices and clearomizer tanks. Nothing wrong with this, as I'm certainly all for introducing smokers to the vape world, but there's not much to be had here for mechanical mod/RBA enthusiasts. Also, the few mech mods and rebuildables they had were VERY pricey. I understand the need for markup at a mom & pop shop, and went in expecting to pay more than I would online, but the prices on things like Smoktech Magneto mods and Patriot RDAs were FAR more than reasonable. Supplies and juice were equally disappointing. I came in mainly to buy some kanthal, but all they had in stock was 30 gauge, which is absurdly small. Vape Boss has a decently large juice selection available for sampling, but most of them were less-than-tasty tobacco flavors (again with the focus on new vapers.) Their Poseidon, however, was a very pleasant mixed berry juice, and probably the only one I'd consider buying. Staff were friendly and the atmosphere was cool, but this isn't the kind of shop I was looking for. Vape enthusiasts are better off going to the head shop next door, which has a much better stock of mods, attys and supplies, all for a far better price. read more

So let me start by saying this , my cousin and I went out tonight and decided we wanted to learn about vaping and quit smoking. We first went to vape dragon across the st- I explained the above an barely got a response. I had to ask questions and that's the only time the employee spoke. We felt extremely uncomfortable and left. We went across the st to vape boss and what a difference. Todd immediately greeted us, could tell that we were completely new to vaping - and educated us so much. Took his time, showed us different devices , made suggestions based on what we told him. We left with 2 aspire pockex vapes and 3 different juices. He showed us step by step how to set them up and did it for us - we are so excited to try this and learn. They are incompetent and rude. They sell defective items and then treat you horribly when you confront them about the problem. They complain about having receipts but mist of their workers don't give receipts. Wife is extremely rude And husband plays Like he doesn't know Anything. They use the younger staff to sell as to keep themselves from dealing with the public. They are not fully knowledgeable and only talk nice when you are spending money. No customer service there cause they are simply rude. Sell defective imitation products at double the price. Gimmicks are give me your pack of CIGGS and i'll give you a small bottle of vape juice. Wanted to quit smoking. Came here. $75 from myself and $75 from my wife and we were rushed out the door. Only to come back due to chargers not working and burned out coils or elements after one day. Not to mention we were sold the highest level nicotine and our throats both are shot from the "juices" we bought. By the way. You can buy the same E-Cig at your local smoke shop for 15-20 bucks and they don't go bad as fast. We had a HORRIFIC experience and Internet shopped. V2 sold better products and gave more backup items for less. Vape Boss has a good hook. But they fall short. TERRIBLY. For the newcomer who is looking to quit please search and check V2. I will never go here again. The day I left I had problems with one of my tanks. I bought two because I wanted two different flavors. On my way home, the one started leaking which by the time I was home, it was empty. I called them immediately and they were kind of rude on the phone. I told hem I wouldn't make it there soon since I live 45 minutes away. When I finally went back, A big guy helped me and acted like I was crazy and that his stuff would never leak like that and it was my fault. He finally said he would replace it. I also bought juice and he ended up charging me for the tank he said he would replace and purposely didn't give me a receipt. He should not work here and if he's the owner than maybe he should read up on some info since he didn't even have much for me when I asked questions. I'm so disappointed. I'm so glad I found another shop which is located in the same plaza. I showed them the one I had and that I was having problems and they noticed the tank was plastic which I guess the real ones are metal! She replaced it for me! I couldn't believe it! My friends have had problems here as well which is how I found out about a different shop. f you want to pay the same amount of money for knock offs then go here. I've gone to Vape Boss off and on now for 2 yrs since I quit smoking. At first, I thought it was the BEST thing ever. The staff was great and they really seemed to stand behind their products. Lately...forgetaboutit. My last experience there was just the other day. Fed up is a nice way of putting how I felt when I walked out of there. In fact, I just accepted the $70+ loss I took and just left yet again aggravated. I purchased 2 complete sets roughly 3 months ago to the tune of over $140 (the sets and juice). One was for a friend; one for my husband. I got the Cool Fire sets because they assured me it was a "wise" buy since all the others I purchased previously were not holding up. Ya right...lol. A month ago, we had to replace the top part because it started leaking (that was $40 more)....ok whatever I thought. Well 2 days ago, the thing wont charge nor even turn on. I take it up the store and they ask for a receipt which I don't even remember them giving me one to begin with!! You can tell by looking at the battery it's not beat up, its not old, and they just saw me last month for the top to this dumb thing. Although I'm pretty sure I used a debit card or charge card, I'm not even bothering going back for the "I'll help you out with a deal" price. No thanks. I'm not dumping any more of my hard earned cash into your place. I quit smoking to somewhat SAVE myself money...not spend more. I'd be leary to buy anything other than juice from this place. I, personally, will never go back. I found other places to find my supplies and juice. read more
