This somewhat claustrophobic shop hits all the high points of a visit to Little Havana. Various items tout the dominoes, roosters, mojitos, and Cuban coffee that make this street in Miami so famous. Floor to ceiling is packed with guayaberas, tote bags, t-shirts, hats, purses, art, key chains, hats, purses, magnets, coin purses, coffee mugs, pot holders,, dominos, and more. There is a Cuban coffee bar in the back. All throughout the store salespeople are at the ready to help find a size or take down an item. Prices seemed reasonable for a tourist store with T-shirts around $25. I love the variety of items the Visitors Center offers. I ended up picking up a few classic car shirts for Fathers Day gifts. Just know that this store is very popular and can get very crowded especially when the tourist buses drop off a load of visitors.

Last time I visited with my mom, she spotted a beautiful handmade leather purse that was reasonably priced (around $200) AND on sale. She gets compliments on it every time I'm out with her! I'm not in Miami more than 3 or 4 times a year, but it's a new experience every time I visit with new inventory each time, which is always fun (though if you see something you really want, don't hesitate to buy it. It might not be there when you come back!). Really unique finds and a good place to shop if you're looking for a gift or something special for yourself. Many of the items here are not too expensive either. Lots of very pretty things for under $100.

The carnival part is new and a nice addition to this memorable place. This is definitely a place to come and hang out, especially if your a tourist or want to have a touristy day in your city.

The parking garages charges a fee depending on the amount of hours. Wait, you got to pay to park while spending money at the marketplace? That makes sense. The places my daughter and I went to were Crocs, Margaritaville, and It's Sugar. We saw the Sky View Wheel while we were eating dinner and it looked pretty cool. There was a lot of people when we went on a Saturday night in the main areas of the marketplace. However, I still can't get over that it cost something to park in the Bayside garages since they figure all the other parking garages charges a fee as well.

Lincoln Road isn't just a street--it's Miami's catwalk, circus, and living time capsule rolled into…read moreone. I've been coming here since the days when Howard Austin Feld had his shop here, when you could still park on the street and the crowd felt more local than curated. Back then, it was quirky galleries, mom-and-pop shops, and artists setting up easels by the fountains. History matters here. Originally designed in the 1910s by Carl Fisher (the same guy who basically invented Miami Beach), it was later reimagined in the 1950s by Morris Lapidus, the legendary architect behind the Fontainebleau. He turned Lincoln Road into a pedestrian mall--a radical idea at the time--that gave Miami Beach its own open-air Broadway. For decades, it was where retirees fed pigeons, musicians played for tips, and snowbirds people-watched under the palms. Today? It's glossier. Trendy flagship stores, outdoor cafés charging $9 for a latte, and enough selfie sticks to arm a small militia. The pigeons have been replaced by pickup artists--guys working the crowd like it's spring break year-round, angling for phone numbers from beautiful women in sundresses. Depending on your vibe, it's either comedy gold or background noise. But here's the truth: Lincoln Road is still Lincoln Road. The fountains still splash, the architecture still hums with mid-century glamour, and the people-watching is world-class. From models strutting past with shopping bags to a family of tourists melting under the Miami sun, this strip remains Miami Beach's beating heart.

I'm so glad I took the recommendation. First and foremost, downtown Miami is nothing like it was over 10 years ago. The transformation is incredible. The skyline is filled with stunning high-rise buildings, beautiful hotels, clean streets, and the entire area feels modern, upscale, and safe. It's immaculate and a completely different vibe from South Beach. After visiting, I can honestly say my next trip to Miami will likely be centered around Brickell instead. As for Brickell City Centre itself, it's an impressive, world-class shopping destination. The mall is beautifully designed, spotless, and home to just about every luxury and popular retail brand you can think of. The selection of shops and restaurants is excellent. Most of the dining options are located on the upper level, although you'll find additional restaurants scattered throughout the mall. The open-air design, connected by escalators, makes it easy to navigate, and there's even a movie theater on the top floor. The center is divided into the East and North Blocks, which are well connected. My only complaint was getting an Uber after my visit. Finding the mall was easy, but getting picked up was another story. I waited over 15 minutes because the app repeatedly directed my driver to a different pickup location. I was standing outside the East Block near the Nespresso boutique, yet my driver kept being routed toward the North Block near Bally. If you're planning to use Uber or Lyft, allow yourself some extra time and double-check the designated pickup location before requesting your ride. Other than that minor inconvenience, Brickell City Centre exceeded my expectations and was one of the highlights of my trip to Miami.
