Brought over a package bicycle in a FedEx box with a UPS label and they refused to take it. They stated that they cannot take anything in a FedEx box. Despite calling various other who said absolutely we can take it, they still refused and I walked out. Went to a nearby UPS Store who said no problem. I was trying to send an item back for weeks but could not make it to the store. I, finally, got there and went to the door but it was locked. I was so disappointed because I saw the sign that they close at 2PM. It was 2:08! I walked back to my car and saw that the person inside came out and was waving for me to come back. By looking at the Google reviews and seeing they are either 1 star or 5 stars, it seems likely that Garrett has some friends who are writing good reviews for him. I, however, was a customer, so I'll give an unbiased review. Awful customer service - to the point where I would gladly drive way out of my way to go to another UPS store. I'd even rather call the horrendous 1-800 number and be on the phone for a half hour to schedule a pickup - that would be better than having to go to this store. He was rude, unfriendly, and unprofessional the first time... so I gave it a second shot and gave him the benefit of the doubt, because hey - maybe he had a bad day. Second time: same thing. He also charges $2 for a 6 inch piece of tape to put on a box. I get it - tape isn't free. USPS charges for tape as well. But you can buy an entire roll for $3-something there, and at least when you ask they aren't incredibly rude to you. Instead, they nicely tell you that you need to buy a roll (if they don't have extra at the desk to put a small piece on - which they often do anyways). If he was polite and could retain customers, he'd probably make a heck of a lot more than he is making for the $2 per piece of tape that he charges to people who will never go back because he's so rude. In contrast, I've been to the FedEx store just down the street several times, and they are absolutely wonderful and go above and beyond and are incredibly polite. read more

I recently used this company for a notary and was charged 10.00 during pandemic, I asked the lady that notarized my form to give me a receipt and she stated she doesn't give receipts, but I know that price was outrageously high,but she had already notarized my form so I had to pay. I just think it was a made up price due to they were the only notary open at the time Reply to UPS Store comment. The guy in there is rude, doesn't even say hello to you, and definitely makes you know you're an inconvenience to him as someone else pointed out. I never give 1 Star reviews, but this place really deserves it. I dropped off a large, heavy package with a prepaid return label. He made me put it up on the scale anyway - of course no offer to help. Do yourself a favor and go to the location over on Lehigh street. To say this establishment provides poor customer service implies they provide any customer service at all. Someone I know needed to ship me something. He wanted to ship the item in a bubble mailer, but the employee in the store insisted he purchase a box for $5 to ship the item in. Okay, no big deal. My shipment arrived the next day, and to my surprise, the box that he was forced to purchase was a USPS Priority Mail box! Outrageous! USPS Priority Mail boxes are available for FREE from the post office! I will be filing a formal complaint with UPS. read more

I was very impressed with the service at this UPS store. Not sure if the management has changed recently, or what, but my experience was very positive. Pooja went out of her way to wrap and pack my packages so they would arrive safely back in Colorado, where I live. She even called me (after I was home) to see if the packages made it to my house okay. They were family heirlooms and she understood the value they had to me. I went in to return an package to the shipper on 12/31/15. That day a man in a UPS uniform and the owner, Garrett Groller, were there. The man in the uniform took the package and said the shipper sometimes takes it back and wrote RTS (Return To Sender) on it. I asked for something printed, he stated that I didn't need it. The package is lost now and nobody is responsible for it. I talked to corporate UPS and corporate UPS Store, and UPS store can only file a complain but can't do anything else. Neither corporate UPS and corporate UPS Store were helpful at all and it took them about a month of me insisting and begging and they still couldn't help me. Whitehall Township Police can't help me either. They stole a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 32GB N910S GSM Android Smartphone - White and there's nothing I can do about it. Apparently UPS Stores are independently owned and they can treat their customers badly and steal from them and it's their word against yours, so I lose. I guess FedEx it is from now on! read more

I went to this ups location to mail 2 large boxes. I had the labels printed but only needed tape to adhere them to the boxes. The guy proceeded to tell me that it would be $1 per box. I asked him if i could then leave the boxes on the counter off to the side (the store was empty so it was not on anyone's way) while I check the car for tape. He said no and that i had to take the boxes with me or pay the charge. Really? I can't leave these bulky boxes for a minute while i check my car. Wow... some kind of customer service. I would of paid except for his attitude which he always seems to have. This is my last time coming to this location. The one on Lehigh street is so much more nicer and try to help as much as they can. This guy who im assuming is the manager does not want any business judging by his attitude so lets not give him any. read more

I had a very fragile and antique item sent to me. The packing was SUPERB and the item reached me undamaged. I couldn't be happier with their service. The very friendly customer service and very quick packing and shipping was as good as it gets. I will definitely use them again, should I need anything sent to me here in Hawaii. I brought in 3 large boxes with prepaid return labels marked for UPS and USPS. The owner, in his regular rude tone and unhelpful fashion said, 'These are all USPS labels...USPS, USPS, USPS. Can't help you." I showed him that they are also marked 'UPS' and told him that I have brought these same labels to the UPS location on Cedar Crest with no trouble. He said that as the owner he can decide if he wants to take USPS items and that he chooses not to. He apparently also chooses not to sell any shipping supplies, have a computer available for customers, play music, hire staff...it looks like they're going out of business when you walk in. I've been to this location 7+ times and each time witnessed the owner turn one or more customers away without service for different reasons. It seems like he views his customers as nuisances and truly doesn't care about their business. read more

I can't believe the guy charged me a $1 for small strip of tape for a pre-paid shipping label!!! And refused to give me a drop-off confirmation!! So grimy and rude!! In disbelief! I checked the store's hours online, it said they were open until 630 pm. I got there about 615 and the doors were already locked. I knocked, no one answered. I took a minute to return a call before I left, someone came out of the store and complained that I knocked. I informed him that it was only 620 and his posted hours were until 630. He rudely told me to come back tomorrow, and something about his system being shut down and he didn't feel like restarting it. The package I wanted to send was small, it wouldn't have taken long to process it. 15 minutes would've been plenty of time. This arrogant jerk just didn't want to do his job. It should also be noted that I called UPS to complain and they didn't take it seriously. I might use UPS in the future but never that store. I've never had a problem at other locations, so I'm never going back to that one. Use Cedar Crest instead, they appreciate their customers there. read more
