I stopped here while driving from Fairplay to Amarillo with a few Amazon returns--something I've done dozens of times without incident. What followed was a comedy of errors, minus the comedy. The first employee informed me I'd need to tape my box shut (fair), then immediately offered to sell me tape. I mentioned I had some in my car, unloaded half my road trip to retrieve it, taped the box, and returned--only to be intercepted by Employee #2, who decided my package was unshippable because it bore a hazardous materials sticker. I explained it was the same box Amazon shipped to me in. She replied that even if I removed the sticker, she "couldn't unsee it." Apparently, this box had been permanently cursed by the memory of a sticker. So there I was--car unpacked, box taped, and somehow still trapped in UPS purgatory. The staff even reminded me, with pride, that they're "the only store in town." Nothing says "customer service" quite like weaponized monopoly power. I told them I'd take my business elsewhere--drove to Amarillo, handed over the exact same box, and watched it ship out in two minutes. No mention of sticker hauntings or safety breaches. This location deserves a mystery shopper, a reality TV crew, or maybe an exorcist. The behavior I encountered wasn't just rude--it was performatively unhelpful. If this is the standard UPS sets for "the only store in town," Pueblo deserves better. read more

I honestly don't know how this place stays in business. It makes me think this place exists to launder money. Just my opinion. Kinda like mattress stores... I had an Amazon return. I mistakenly clicked UPS store for my return. BIG MISTAKE!! I tried to change it but once you've chosen you're stuck. As most people know when you have an Amazon return, you hand the clerk the item, the clerk scans the code on your phone, gives you a print out and you are on your way. NOT HERE! They demanded that the item be placed in a box. They insisted! So, I drove home and found a huge box for my small item. The box was literally many sizes too big. They wanted it in a box, so that's what they got. Do yourself a favor and make the choice of Staples or Kohls for your Amazon returns. They also question you about what's in the box, which is not required by UPS. You have been warned. Edit: I notice that they suggested another reviewer contact them at their email. I did this. Staff was rude and agressive. I felt unsafe when jane yelled at me across the store. She threatened to refuse service when I questioned their policy. Got charged for tape and wouldn't accept return although boxed, sealed, and had a QR code. I returned the item at staples without a problem. read more

BEWARE! I stopped going to this location due to being treated rudely years ago, but decided yesterday I would try to again since I needed to go to King Soopers. HUGE MISTAKE! I am a re-seller and was shipping an $800 necklace with the return address clearly stating "Chairish" the website I sold it on and shipped in a small package. The clerk could see it was expensive so DEMANDED to know what I was shipping. When I hesitated telling him, all 3 employees chimed in making me feel guilty, insisting that I tell them. I wanted to say "None of your business", but then relented telling them it was a necklace. I stupidly left it there briefly, but went out, thought about it, and came back in to retrieve it, because for all I know their plan might have been to open that package and steal the $800 necklace. They were SO RUDE it was unbelievable. I told them I ship daily and normally go to Staples where never one time have they asked me what I'm shipping, and I also use USPS and Fed Ex as I am a re-seller and this was the first time ever anyone has ever asked me that question. It's not like they were printing the label; my box was ready to ship. Their comment was "We're not staples"! Dreadful place! Staff are actually trained to be unhelpful. I had forgotten to seal up a package for an Amazon package return and staff told me they were not allowed to help! Staff are rude and unhelpful. Made me pay $6 for a roll of scotch tape to close a package telling me it was Amazon's policy even though there was a roll of tape right there on the counter. They refused to let me use it! I have taken lots of packages in to other UPS stores for return to Amazon and they always deal with securing the package. I went in for a quick drop off. They were very fast and friendly. There was an elderly woman in front of me and they were extremely helpful in having to help her print a label and then get to the right drop off because her package was actually for a different delivery company. It was nice to watch them, Take their time to help her on her cell phone as she was not that tech savvy. Then it was my turn. They were fast and were able to get me in and out less than five minutes. This has a bunch of negative reviews and I wanted to put some positivity on them because they were really good to this elderly woman and good to me. read more

I read the reviews on here for this store and it disgusts me. People are so mean. The people that work in here are very friendly and helpful they try to do their best with what people need and some people come in thinking everything gets free. Some of the packages need to be packed by customers and you can't expect to not pay for tape if you didn't have it taped up already. If you want something printed then of course you have to pay to have it done. It's sickening that people complain do they not realize that if you would be more understanding then things would go better for you? I have been going there for over 12 years and yes sometimes people are frustrated but put yourself in their shoes and what they have to deal with I see it when I'm standing in line. Please be kind to one another and be nice to the people that are sending your packages. Instead of writing bad reviews go somewhere else. If they keep getting bad reviews they won't be able to stay open and then what are you going to do? I went to ship a ukulele and some music books to my daughter in Texas because she couldn't get it home on the airline. I was quoted an outrageous price to start with. They wanted to charge me $435 to ship that to my daughter. I could've replaced all the items three times over for what they wanted to ship it. She did finally bring it down to 150 which I still think is extremely high but I did go ahead and ship it. I think this is awful I am a senior on a fixed income and there is no way I could've paid that outrageous amount to ship it. read more

I've had such great experiences with this store! They have very knowledgeable staff who are efficient and professional. Take your Amazon returns to them and then "Forget about it!". Within minutes Amazon sends you notification that they've received your return and have reimbursed you! Easy access from the highway without terrible traffic issues. Highly recommend! read more

Should be zero stars. Seller used them to ship. Estimated delivery was before 9pm Tuesday when I laid down Sunday night. Monday at 830 am my wife heard some knock and she seen a guy on the porch. The same guy knocked again. The third time my wife seen him come up on our porch looking around as if trying to see if anyone was looking or cameras. She came and got me went outside and no package but sure was marked as delivered on front porch or front door. The ups guy stole the package. Tried making a complaint and good luck no customer service and the lady said she would email me a complaint form instead of just looking up the driver and investigating it. Horrible service. No courtesy. And worst, no common sense. Called to see if they'll print label prior to going. Said yes. Get to store, said it'll be $5 to print label. Asked why didn't you mention it to me on the phone (talked to same woman in person as phone). No reply, just stunned face. It's not about the $5, I'm guilty of wasting more on the regular. It's just like...have some common sense, if someone is calling asking about printing because they are unaware of how UPS works, maybe let them know it's an additional fee, whatever it might be. I understand the $5 is a charge for convenience, but don't be so sly about it just so you can make a few bucks. Extremely rude manager-- very unprofessional. Apparently, two other yelp reviews agree that being rude and less than friendly is their modus operendi. Debi (the manager) informed me of a store policy (which does not exist according to my conversation with corporate) and I chose to take my business elsewhere. Outside the store, another customer agreed with me that they had never encountered this "policy" either. Debi then decided it was appropriate to leave the store and yell for me to stop harassing her customers and berate me in front of other passers by in the parking area. I then asked for the corporate number and Debi informed me she will just respond to the complaint that I blew up at her and harassed her customers (neither of which happened). When I complained about the exuberant fees for tape (also high for printing return labels); she was quick to state "if you don't like it, don't come back". Don't use this place, they charge ridiculous prices! I used them with a recommendation from an auction house. The item they shipped wasn't very big or heavy, they charged $81.05! I have since sent that same item from CT to CA using USPS for $26.41. This is just outright gouging as far as I'm concerned. read more

DO NOT go here to print anything or even ship. They will charge you 5 dollars to email and print it for you. Staples doesn't do that or even Office Depot. When I talked to corporate they basically said that the owners of the business can make up whatever prices they want and do whatever they want. This is not how you run a business and when we all live in a small town and you keep screwing people you will end up closing shop. I needed to get some photos for a passport. Several of the employees were snarky during my interaction with them. The web site for this store says that they perform this service. There is a sign in the store that says that they take passport photos. When I asked to have a passport photo made, I was told that they don't do them. When I asked if they make signs, the lady at the counter told me that they do. I asked why they didn't make a new sign to go over their service counter. read more

Going to this store with an Amazon return. After giving the cashier the box, she states that she will need to charge me $1 to retape the box. When I looked at the box it had a 6" area where the box was torn on the seam where the previous tape was. So this is the customer service this store does. If I could give the store a zero stars I would definitely deserve it. My company has an account number that we use to ship. This is the first UPS store I have ever encountered that would not take an account number and ship the package for me. I guess they choose their policy of no customer service. And we ship with UPS stores all of the time at least once or twice a week due to our business of firefighting and ship whichever state we may be in. You can bet that I will ship with FedEx from now on. The best I can say about their customer service is it's piss poor. read more

Very rude staff. Took modem in to ship back to Xfinity. Per "Returning equipment" flyer enclosed Comcast and UPS Store have teamed up to accept Comcast/Xfinity equipment. I placed the return label I was given but did not tape the box. The heavyset gentleman that waited on me said 'You can't expect us to tape the box for free." He said the only thing he could do was put a sticker to close the box. Since both companies teamed up to accept these and I am sure it was NOT for free I can't see how putting a piece of tape on the box would cost them so much money. The instruction never said to seal or tape the box. Maybe he has to pay for the tape out of his own pocket. Will try to avoid that store entirely!!!!!!!!! read more

We travel full time so we're all over the country we opened our mailbox at this store because it's near our Daughter who retrieves and forwards our mail and packages to us or arranges to have them forwarded. We have received outstanding service from the staff at the Pueblo store on W. 29th street over the last several months and are very happy with all the staff in the store. The negative reviews I've read seem to be more personal than professional and in my opinion are not well founded. If my view and opinion should change I'll be happy to update my review with solid reasons for my being unhappy. read more

I was recommended to this location by a friend because I had very important legal papers that had to be sent to a person in California within a very short time. I went into the store and the girl who waited on me at their counter was as lost as a deer in head lights. Her name was Bella and as I tried to explain to her that the were very important legal papers in the envelope, I don't think she even understood what legal papers were. A person was driving out of LA to pick up this package which was to be delivered no later than Wednesday, the 19th. My friend had a Board meeting to attend and also check on his properties he owns in Palm Springs where this package was mailed to. Instead of this envelope being delivered to the assigned address, UPS decided to deliver it to some retail store not even close to the correct address, did not even leave a notice on the door of the correct address and now these very important legal papers just side at some retail store. These papers had a time sensitive date on them and this was explained to the employee the UPS store on 29th St. The problem is, Bella, the employee does not understand what time sensitive means. She is unable to even chew gun and think at the same time. Stay far, far away from this store and from UPS. Now, I am going to have to contact another company in Palm Springs to try to retrieve this package from this retail store and finally deliver it to the address on it as it should have been in the first place. I will have to pay a penalty for these papers not getting to their correct destination because of UPS. I paid $30.00 to ship this envelope from the 29th St. UPS store and it will cost me up to $300.00 now to undo what the 29th St. UPS store and UPS did. I hope Bella can find another job that is more suited to her talents, flipping burgers or maybe a carhop. read more

This place has changed their printing prices multiple times with no warning and are incredibly inconsistent and rude when I bring it up with no explanations. I feel totally robbed. Terrific experience at the UPS Store on W. 29th in Pueblo! I had to ship five very large paintings, a box of silver place settings, and a box of documents. Each item needed to be securely packed, sent to a different address, and separately billed. Melinda handled everything perfectly. I have received confirmation emails on the shipments which I then forwarded to the recipients. It was my last day in Pueblo following my aunt's passing and settling her estate. I so appreciated the patience and professionalism of all of The UPS Store staff on a Friday afternoon. Thank you! read more
