UPS personnel at this store is to stern for my taste, almost to the point of being rude.

The older woman with a grey pony tail is just about as rude as it gets. Absolutely disgusting customer service. She must be the owner because no one who cared about being fired would act like that. She refused to ship a paid for package that wasn't even large. And then got all upset when I called her out on her piss poor attitude and told her she wasn't cool. And that she was all sassy and excited to turn me away. I told her i came from an hour away and she said, Verbatim "ok". Total lack of care. Sounds like this is a regular thing for her. She's like your on Camera. I am thinking, I called her uncool. What a child. Avoid this place at all costs. Disgrace for the town. read more

Do not trust this location. They didn't mail the letter I paid for after they tried to charge me $33 to mail a USPS letter to a PO Box. On a second item to send UPS they wouldn't give a new UPS box or provide a piece of tape to use the existing box. Insane! read more

My First introduction to the Store was squeezing into a parking spot that obviously had not been designed for SUVs or any type of trucks, which All were in the front spots and I almost got trapped between myself and another woman who was kind enough to not let her bother her. As I was making my way into the store, I saw a woman leaving very irate, and I didn't understand why until I open the door. There was a line through the store around the back, and I was the last person that had barely made it inside the door I'd say about 11 people deep and one person working very slowly . I thought of patiently waiting but since dinner was in three hours, I didn't think it would be to my benefit to stand and wait along with everybody else who looked like they had been there a while. Hours open on Friday show until 6 pm. We arrived at 5 pm to have passport photos taken. When we arrived they said computer was down and only person that handles computer is graphic designer and she left around 3. They said she only comes in when she has a job to work on and her hours are very flexible. Apparently the rest of the folks don't know how to work their computer. I was annoyed because I normally don't wear makeup, but had spent an hour putting makeup on carefully since I was having the photo taken. Also, we live 10 miles out of town and we had driven in just for this errand. They said come back tomorrow. We're open until 4 on Saturdays, but get here by 3 pm. I'm going to try again today. I tried to call first, but no one answered phone and their voicemail box is full. I tried calling 6 different times, always the same result. read more

I have used this company's services to send packages on several occasions. Sometimes they are not busy and I can just whiz through. Other times when they have a high volume of clients, I have had to wait. Most times, especially when it's busy, they have three people working the registers and doing their best. I have also known them to go the extra mile just because they care about their customers. Walked in to send out a package and was greeted while walking in. The lady who received my package to send out was extremely helpful when certain questions were made. There was no charge to me, for it was a product return to a dish network. She was happy that the box was already secured and the proper mailing indicators were legible and in the correct places on the box. Manager here is very rude! come in with prepaid post office labels which per UPS you can drop off here! I do this because I don't have time to run down to the post office! she gets angry everytime & advises there is no guarantee! I tell her it's starts tracking as soon as the post office picks it up! well this time something has happened to my package and 8 days out has still not been delivered to the recipient! Even asked me if I had another label at home? Why so she could destroy this one! Filing a claim with corporate because something isn't right she is the only one we have.an issue with!! Called these clowns up to see if they can scan an email barcode so I can return a package from AT&T which prints out a label for my return and they provide the packaging as well. Their answer was yes, we can do that. You'll have to pay $5.00 for that though. I told them AT&T has said that there is no charge for doing this at a UPS store. Stay away from this place they are pure evil and are charging for things they're not supposed to charge for at all. According to AT&T I'm not supposed to pay for anything on the return. read more

My former wife passed away in Pahrump. She left my son 2 things that he wanted. A cast iron Dutch oven and a kitchen aide stand mixer. Obviously I couldn't take them on the plane, so my brother in law took me up to the ups store. I watched the gentleman pack them into the same box with bubble wrap. I expressed my concern that bubble wrap would be sufficient. I paid my $91 and change and was told that it would be here in Ohio by Wednesday (today) My son was very excited when the package arrived. Until he opened it. The handle on the CAST IRON Dutch oven was cracked all the way through (I didn't even know that was possible) and the mixer was covered in oil that had leaked everywhere. Why does all the advertising for this store say it's opened at 8 a.m. yet note on door says notary hours are 9 to 4 Monday through Saturday. Not only did I turn around because store wasn't opened, but at least two or three other people did the same as me. I don't have time to sit in front of a store for 30 minutes waiting for it to open. I think the store should update their information so people don't waste their time trying to go a store that's not opened and waiting. read more

A couple of people in the store are decent enough but the old gal with gray hair and glasses...she's a miserable soul. Never a kind look, never a kind word. Always seems as if you're bothering her by being in her store. Last time I was there (It's unfortunate, but I'm there a few times a month) she glanced at my package and proceeded to complain about it not being packed right when the gentleman had already looked and said it was. She checked anyways. She consistently checks the things I'm bringing in as if she's going to find an error and make me repack it. I feel for those who work here. Why would u allow a notary a employee to refuse to do a notary, just cuz u thought u might get busy. Ur always busy. I was willing to wait in-between customers, I had already let 2 customer go ahead of me just so I can get notary. I was there last Saturday to get notary ur line was out the door w/4 employees I still waited in between customers. Why have a notary of they aren't going to notarize for u. They said .99 cents a page, ok highway robbery but, I was on a highway in a small rural Nevada town, and I needed a hard copy for a signature. Here is where is got stupid, they demanded I pay a $5.00 computer fee for the woman behind the counter to press Print... Not that $7.00 would break me but this is 2019, a Computer Fee ? I had taken in 2 packages and paid insurance and extra, and to packages left the store and one of them only ended up at the person I was sending them to the person I spoke to said. Oh, we'll put a complaint in or whatever and investigation. Well, it is almost year and now I'm told. Oh, it's just too late. She claims that she didn't get the package. And our driver claims he delivered it. But no one's offered to pay me for the insurance. Or anything else, or say? Oh, I'm so sorry, and it's stuff. I typically only do brilliant reviews of great places but this must be heard. The only UPS Store in town, charges $5+ to print labels for Amazon returns. Insanity. I get charged $2 in Las Vegas. The ladies at the front are generally ornery, and rarely smile. I've been here a few times, too. When I asked for a military discount on the crazy printing she said they don't give it. "Just AARP or AAA." Great! I have AAA! "Oh no you *must* present the physical card we cannot accept the app version. When I asked why that is in 2022, she gave the letter line "it's corporate policy." Which isn't not the truth since in Las Vegas they do not require that AND give military discounts. When I asked who the owner was "this is a franchise...." My face must've scrunched because she said "I'm worried you're going to get upset..." and I said, "franchises have owners, which was my request." "Pam something." For real? 11/2016 When looking to mail heavier packages there is not too many choices in Pahrump. The first stop was here at the UPS store. It is a small place in the same shopping strip as Albertsons, CVS ~ We went in to see how much a box would cost to ship out. It was heavy but not that heavy to cost what they said. We were totally shocked at the cost! They are very expensive! It was $60 something $ when I heard the price I was shocked and said we would find another way to mail it. I guess the shape and size added to the price. (Fed ex was way cheaper like over $20 cheaper! ) So I don't think I would use them for anything else. I just thought since it was convenient at the moment I would mail it. I was wrong. Don't normally mail packages other than at the post office. The staff seemed pleasant enough and they didn't make the prices it is just the prices are way too high mailing from here. I almost didn't think the box was going out. I am glad I did find a place to mail it cheaper. read more

I went to this store a couple of weeks ago and the ladies behind the counter absolutely rude. Had a couple of packages delivered to the UPS store to pick up while staying at the Lakeside RV park for a couple of months as they do not accept deliveries in their office for guests. It is a very busy store but all the staff are friendly and helpful. All deliveries must be made by UPS or Fed Ex. They do not accept USPS delivery there for anyone who does not have a mail box rental. Good way to get your mail boxed and shipped to you or purchases delivered. There is a $5.00 charge to receive it there. read more

After filing complaint with UPS Store direct, got a resolution. Seems a waste of everyone's time vs. refunding the $170. Yep, this was all over $170. Got my deserved refund. Store could use a little more customer service and a lot less "gotcha". Have since switched to Anytime Mailbox for service in southern Nevada but still use UPS Store in Socal and NorCal locations without issue. So....hope this helps someone else out there. read more

Went to the UPS store to copy a couple of emails. The headers stated that the emails would be a total of five pages. I am not that tech savvy. The emails printed the five pages and quite a few mostly blank pages with a couple of lines of header on the bottom. The lady who went to the printer to recover the pages seemed irritated. I told her I wasn't sure what had gone wrong. I asked her how much did I owe for the copies. She asked me, "How many copies do you think there are?" I told her I don't know how many. She repeated, How many do you think there are?" At this point, I am thinking, isn't that your job to count the copies? I said, "I don't know, maybe 40 or fifty?" In an agitated manner, she said, "There are way more than that, there are at least 100,. "That will be $13.05." I handed her a twenty and she gave me back a five dollar bill. So she told me $13.05 and charged me $15.00. I wasn't happy with the way she acted towards me. In my opinion the clerk was rude and unprofessional. As we left the store, my eight year old grandson looked at me and said, "That lady wasn't very nice." I will not return to this store. read more

I'll NEVER use UPS again. I used the Pahrump UPS store 3 times. The first package they lost and and fond it 3 weeks later. The second arrived on time. As for the third, I dropped off my pre-labeled package. The next day I went online to check it's progress only to find it was never scanned or accepted by UPS. I went drove to the store and I was told that they didn't understand why it didn't make it to the trunk the day before. Incompetence at it's best. They only hire old incompetent old ladies that move as slow as possible. They take 10 minutes per customer to do the simplest thing. There is always a line of 3-6 people that means you will wait 30 minutes to drop off a Amazon return or just a package ready to go. They are listed as an Amazon return and UPS drop off location and have zero concern for packages that were already prepared to ship. They should be De-Commissoned from UPS and Amazon. They are too busy overcharging walk in customers triple UPS rates online rates. Yes, you can save a lot by shipping it yourself online, but then have to waste 30 minutes in line at this place. I have lived in many southwest states, and the UPS stores had a quick line for just drop off and it took 5 seconds.... Its cheaper and faster to ship from UPS.com and USPS.com for anything less than 5 pounds. And you do not have to wait in line at the post office. You just walk in and drop it off at any empty counter, and this works in California, Utah, Nevada, and Arizona, all the states I have operated an online shipping business in for the last 35 years. read more

Firstly, during a pandemic, if you are going to wear a mask, wear it properly, not under your chin, your nose or pulling it down and scratching your face. As for service, it's definitely gotten worse over the last 5 years. I tried to have something notarized recently and it was a nightmare. While I waited for help, staff was discussing the fact that it was 3:00 and that was the time of day customers come in and are crabby. Probably something you shouldn't say in front of customers, but it WASN'T THE CUSTOMERS who were crabby! The woman I was unlucky enough to have wait on me was rude and extremely argumentative. She demanded my ID (my license was in my hand), kept telling me she couldn't notarize the documents I had, they weren't the right kind, there was no room, as she insisted on looking at private banking information while I kept telling her all I needed was my SIGNATURE notarized, NOT the document! I finally became so frustrated that I left, offering her an expletive on the way out. That is not something I have ever done in Pahrump, but this woman pushed every button, including very loudly asking if there was something she had done to make me angry. Ugh, yes, EVERY step of the way! Try being polite, LISTENING to the customer, and not acting like a bull elephant! I ended up going to Notary Plus, next to my bank, and a perfectly lovely lady took care of my needs in less than 5 minutes. Thank you Notary Plus! Don't worry UPS, I won't be back. IN RESPONSE TO THE OWNER's COMMENTS BELOW, the woman at Notary Plus knew enough to use a separate form she supplied to notarize my signature and did NOT find it necessary to read my private bank forms. The biggest difference between the two services is that the Notary Plus woman listened and was POLITE! read more

This is the (extremely) the worst UPS store I have ever dealt with. They lose your mail/parcels, they are rude, they harass you and refuse any kind of service. The women who work there are extremely the most unhappy people and must hate their job and owner because no one could be that bad if the circumstances were different. UPS Corporation should take away their license and close this store or get new people in. Stay away if you can and use FEX or US Postal Service. Look at the yelp reviews they seem to say the same way I feel. My regular UPS store is in shock about the why they have treated me, as well as, to them when they tried to help.
