The most respectful, helpful, and kind young employees in all of Monroeville! I'm not quite sure how this location has a pipeline of amazing employees but corporate UPS may want to hire this local manager as their recruiter regionally. Always happy to greet you! They drop whatever side tasks they are accomplishing (which is a revelation in businesses already.. they aren't just playing on their phones between customers) to open up all three registers and move through the line as quick as possible. The store owner is extremely rude and sent my packages back to the sender because I couldn't make it to her store to pick them up in her timeline. She demanded I COME NOW or they will be returned immediately! I thought this was the reason for these useless businesses? Support the United States Postal Service instead. read more

I needed to email my print label, like I have done at other UPS Stores, and had to pay $1.00 or often N/C. This store advised me of a $3.52 computer use fee for them to do it. The store wasn't even busy. This literally takes them 30 seconds to do, and I'm sure they are making good money on Amazon Returns. This is a ridiculous rate IMO This store just lost my business. All of it not just my returns. To top it off the staff just laughed at me when I objected to the charge and asked them to advise their store manager that a customer complained of this exorbitant cost. I came in this evening with two rugs to return to Amazon. They had been shrink, wrapped and trying to get them back into the original packaging was very challenging. I went in, expecting to have to either buy boxes, or some other packing material just to be able to ship them back. AJ helped me and was superb. Not only was he incredibly friendly and efficient, he got them both back in the original packaging and taped up for me. Not the best UPS Store that I have been to. That says a lot when it comes to this type of business. You really shouldn't be able to mess up a business like this, but some people just don't care about the way they handle things. I do appreciate how they have been handling the pandemic. They are enforcing masks for customers and limiting the amount of people in the store...to a certain extent. They allow a sent amount of customers in at a time. The sign says two, but they don't always follow that. While I was here there were more than two in the store at a time. This was especially noticeable due to the lack of speediness from some of the employees. The employees seem to take the slowest possible way to complete a task. I was just here to drop off a package because they would not pick up at my residence. What should have been fairly easy and quick felt like a turtle was doing the job. The employees were too engaged in conversations with one another than to acknowledge customers. Definitely wasn't the best experience to have. read more

This is an updated review & I was a bit worried after reading bad reviews & wondering how I could've had such excellent service last time I was there compared to those bad reviews. Well I had to return a 16lb box of stuff this a.m. & I had a return label in my phone that the place I was returning to had sent me. I showed the label to the young man behind the counter & he explained that the label was not the QR scan kind, that it had to be printed & that there would be a charge of $3.21. I said fine & he took my phone & did several "finger movements" & handed back my phone;went off to the printer, came back with a label & while putting it on my package said "You're all set ma'am,(with a smile)we have it from here & thanks for using the Monroeville UPS store." I was back in my car & it was only maybe 7 minutes from getting out of my car to getting back in, receipt in hand, & feeling very happy! GREAT SERVICE FOR SURE! FRIENDLY STAFF! QUICK! EASY! Btw, there was a sign that said "LINE STARTS HERE" but I was the only customer & we kidded about a "GreenAcres" episode where Oliver was the only customer & had to take a number "22" & the card holding thing had a card #4 & the idiot guy was calling out "#5? Does any one have #5??? #6? etc etc" but no one was there but Oliver with #22! They'd lost all the # cards between 4 & 22! So I asked if I had to take a #! The kid had seen that GA episode & we laughed. LOL! That's employee 231873, wish I had gotten his name. He was an excellent rep for UPS Store! Dishonest & shady without overview from UPS. Got my box and was forced to pay a lock change fee since the prior box owner did not return the key. Called back for weeks to be told repeatedly their locksmith was out. Two months later I did not receive my key. When approaching the manager Patrick, he used obscenities & refused to acknowledge the situation even happened. I asked him about partial credit / comp month / some reimbursement since I haven't been able to use my box, especially since they cut their hours for COVID, making it hard to reach them. His response? Quote: "We don't have to F*%}ing do anything for you, you signed the contract and it doesn't matter if you could not access your box. We do not answer to UPS so good luck getting someone to care!" Would never trust with a package or letter again. Would give a zero if I could. read more

This UPS Store is the Best in Western PA.. I own a event ticket business and have thousands of packages being delivered and shipped per year and could not do it without this wonderful staff. Alex, Dana, Taun and Luther are professional, courteous, efficient and most of all just good people. The owner is simply rude. I went in to change a delivery for a package and he very rudely told me that he was unable to because its an independent franchise which I understand after he told me this but coming off the street that's not so obvious since the sign on the store says "THE UPS STORE". Maybe he gets this a lot and is sick of repeating it, but my goodness, that isn't my fault or any other customer who wouldn't know that a store called The UPS Store actually isn't the UPS Store. I visited this UPS for fingerprinting and a notary on a Saturday. Despite the lack of signs, note that there are two lines, one for people shipping packages and another line for people who need their fingerprints to be done. The line for the fingerprinting was very long when I showed up and had at least 15 people. I waited for over one hour, and several people were still in line ahead of me, so I ended up leaving. I had no hope of getting my fingerprints done before their closing time. I have had fingerprints done at other businesses in the past, and I never had to wait so long. I would NOT recommend this location for fingerprints. I was happy that I at least got to get another document notarized by the employee who serves the line for shipping. read more

I needed a notary and a print out from a USB drive and a 24 hour turn around time to mail the document. I got all three taken care of in one stop at UPS store in Monroeville. Alex was very helpful, assisted me with the computer print out, notarized my document and got it sent out. I was in the store less then 10 minutes! I recommend this place to everyone. Walk in to drop off pre-paid. Associate is helping someone with passport photos. Owner just standing there doing drinking a coffee. No one greets you. No acknowledgement that you are alive. Big sign that says wait back here. Waited five minutes. More people come in line. Owner not helping. Only distracting the girl making the passport photos. Line grows. I leave. Never to return to this location. Horrible service. At least say hello or be with you in a moment. Or, the owner could actually do something. And if he's not trained, come out and say hello or anything to diffuse everyone's frustration with waiting in line to simply drop off a package. Follow Up: As you can see by the owner comments, the service mentality starts at the top. The Greensburg location is fantastic by the way, which is what I am measuring against. Maybe contact them for how to improve your approach to customer service. Interesting that he was a customer. He was behind the counter. And if anyone else dared cross the stop here sign, they were reprimanded by the associate. I also wasn't in and out in one minute. Best of luck to you. Staff behind counter were helpful and professional, the gentleman doing fingerprints was inappropriate. First, he was wearing dirty baggy clothes and smelled like cigarettes badly. Another customer came in and he said 'oh god' and sighed..I said 'I guess you don't want to be here', he replied that he didnt. He has to touch my hands to do prints and all his fingernails were dirty and I wanted to vomit that he had to touch me...if he isn't going to clean his hands at least have a courtesy bottle or Purell! So unprofessional..they also charge 2$ to print a receipt, they call it a 'service' so they can charge for proof of transaction..lol read more

This location is often busy when I come in to do package drop offs. The line is not divided based on who needs fingerprinting and notary services and who needs package services. This is badly needed. Today, I commented on how understaffed it seemed and the man behind the counter got very frustrated and rude with me. I told him I understood, as a retail manager, and I'd like to write a letter to the ownership or management to let them know Saturday afternoons clearly need more staffing. It's a shame that cutting corners is affecting their service because the weekday behind the counter staff are very helpful and professional. read more

I use this store to usually pick up packages delivered by UPS. Alex, the owner, is always friendly and helpful. He holds packages if I can't get to the store in the next few days. His staff is also friendly. They do get busy and sometimes the line is long, but the staff try to work as quickly as possible. Our business has used the copy services, print services, shipping service as well as their Notary services. The owner., Alex and his staff have always been professional, prompt and well trained regarding all of the services offered.
