we where shipping out gift cards that where won as prizes about 5 years ago and one of the $100 Kroger cards came up missing. We had it tracked and it showed Alice using it at Kroger the same day on video. We contacted Tracy, the manager at UPS and she took care of it, and got it replaced the same week and shippedbit for free. We miss Tracy, so nice and professional! We go to Lapeer, dont trust Alice at all! read more

There was a changing of the guard around Christmas time. The new workers are great--always friendly and helpful. I used to complain to my husband that the previous workers would stand behind the counter and watch me struggle to open the door with heavy packages in my hands. The new workers (if they aren't already helping someone else) wil trot to the door and hold it open for me. They want to help! I ship for a business a couple of times a week and I agree with someone else's negative review : IT USED TO BE nicer to go to Pak Mail in Lapeer, but now the Imlay City UPS store makes me feel welcome. I have been to this UPS Store only when USPS can't ship an item. But, my experience is that it's just one of the "owners" that gives me hard time about the way I have packaged my item or whatever. The other "owner" and employee have been helpful. Its not rocket science packing an object in a rectangular box. read more

Sadly this is the closest shipping store to me that's opened past 5:00 p.m otherwise I would never go here. I have to agree with past reviews the customer service is not there they are rude and unprofessional. It's really sad especially in such a small town. I have gone 20 miles out of my way to ship items just to not deal with these people. This store has 0 employees. It is run only by the owners and their son. Their son is a pleasure to deal with. Friendly and a great attitude. If you have to go to this place, i would recommend going after 4 pm, which is when he is running the store. However, the 2 owners (husband and wife) have the lousiest reputation in this area as being the rudest, unfriendliest business people they have ever dealt with and i 100% agree. The 2 owners are the rudest people i have ever seen running a business. It should be illegal to run a business and be as unfriendly and rude as these folks are. When you go there, you get the impression that you are bothering them and wasting their time. So unless you spend thousands of dollars there, they don't want anything to do with you. You would think that for a business in which they depend on it for their livelihoods, they would treat all their customers with more respect and at least look like they appreciate your business, no matter how small or large it is They also seem to lack the knowledge of what is going on with UPS. For example, when i asked them about the new dimensional weight changes that went into affect this year, they didn't have a clue what i was talking about. Again, you would think that since you run a UPS store, you would be keeping up to date with UPS changes that affect your business. I concur with the previous comment. Almost a year later and not much has changed. They got the address wrong and blamed me when I called to fix it. The lady was extremely ignorant and had no idea what customer service actually means. The man was emanating the smell of pot! Medical marijuana isn't even legal in that state and therefore he shouldn't have had it on him. Either their marriage isn't working and they take it out on their customers or they are just the worst franchise I have ever used. I will NEVER use their service again. I highly recommend finding a different delivery service and maybe then they will realize how to treat their customers. read more
