I ordered a new toilet from Amazon. When the package was delivered, I HEARD it hit the porch! When I got to the door, the driver was already down the road. I brought the package into my house, hearing it clank, clank, clank. Well, it was shattered!!! Called UPS, who told me to call Amazon. I was told that a local representative from UPS would call me back on Monday since it was Friday evening, and the place was closed. The customer service representative I reported this to was not too concerned, and he told me to call Amazon. I guess Amazon is supposed to make this right??? Why not the delivery man?? Today, the local UPS representative called me back, in the late afternoon. He did not seem to concerned either; he asked me, "Did Amazon take care of it." I told him Amazon did. So, his whole attitude changed. He said that was good that Amazon is taking care to get my item replaced. I told him I wanted the delivery person to apologize to me. He said, "Well I don't think I can make that happen." Wow, something free???? Guess an apology is TOO MUCH to ask. If I could/can decide which way my packages can be delivered in the future, I will NOT select UPS. AND, all of my Facebook and Twitter contacts will hear my story!!!! read more

I went to The UPS Store to get an application faxed to me for a potential job. That went pretty smoothly! I got the application and filled it out in store to fax it back. This is where issues occurred. I realize the issues with the incoming and outgoing fax machine was not the fault of employees, but they could have handled it better. While the staff working during the 2 1/2 hours I was there was friendly, they were not attentive. The third time trying to fax the application back, there was only one other customer that came into the store during the active process. The other employees either stood around doing nothing or acted busy. I kept having to ask if the fax sent. The last time it took them so long to look at the machine, it went into sleep mode! I gave up. Thankfully I only paid $8.25. And pretty much for nothing, since I ended up sending it via email to the potential employer instead. There were numerous customers who came in and out of this UPS Store location during the hours I was there. The employees were nice, but could have been more professional in my humble opinion. read more
