I love the self- serve return station so i don't have to wait in line if there is a crowd. These guys know what they are doing and that's what counts. If I need help, they help me, quickly and efficiently. If i don't need help, they let me do my thing. I'm ok if they don't acknowledge me when i come into the store, or ignore me when i leave and say thanks have a nice day. It's not their job to open the door for me if i have a big box in my arms. Bottom line is that my packages are taken care of, and they remind me if I have a discount available through AAA. Parking can be a challenge. read more

The UPS Store - Parking is a challenge - Shipping Centers Near Me - Albertson, New York

Absolutely the worse store. Kevin and Ryan are the rudest, unprofessional, nasty and condescending men. they act like you're putting them out. I asked if they had a piece of tape. answer, "no" in a very rude way. I was having a hard time figuring out codes and items. Kevin's was not happy and didn't offer to help. there was no one in the store at the time. Ryan was worse. it's very disappointing to go into a store and be treated unkindly. I've been to other stores and they couldn't do enough for me. I don't understand how they get away with this. read more

Absolutely horrible business, no care for customers. The owner is extremely rude and has trained his young teenage staff to act just like him. As if they are doing you a favor by giving them business. read more

I wish I could give the Albertson UPS a -1 review. I am shocked that the Corporate offices of UPS want to be associated with a location that is so rude and disgusting to its customers. I usually use another location, but I was in the area and needed to return something to Amazon. I asked the young guy to please look at my phone to make sure I was doing everything right. In a mean, obnoxious, and nasty tone he told me he works for UPS not Amazon. (I was aware of that). He also told me the cost was five dollars ( he lied, the cost was $3.50 at a different location). And no one was on line behind me. So if want to have a good UPS experienc, don't go to Albertson. Youre welcome. read more

Quick service but zero customer service. They act like you were their middle school bully or a ex from a horrible breakup. Don't expect a hi or any response from the staff. Just have your barcode ready. read more

This particular young man at the store behind the counter was absolutely disrespectful, rude and got very bad attitude. At first I thought he was just having a bad day but nope it's every single time. As if the whole world owe him and I can tell he hates his job and everyone else. Absolutely the worse experience every time! read more

Rude employees, with the exception of one young man. Very unprofessional, abusive, condescending, and disrespectful to customers.

Absolutely the worst store manager in the world. The reviews about him are awful and I finally witnessed his behavior yesterday. He was rude and arrogant because a customer's package never made it out of his store. The customer wanted to know where it was since tracking indicated that it was still in his store. He called the customer incompetent and basically threw her out. He was disgustingly rude and made himself look like an idiot since once that package crossed his counter, it became his responsibility. I don't know how someone who is so condescending and who treats customers who have legitimate concerns so poorly is still running a store. Everyone in line was astounded. Shameful. Really. read more

Guys behind the counter were not friendly. Got very edgy over taping a package (which I know sounds strange, but it happened). Would not use this store when other options are available read more

I genuinely look forward to walking in just to see the main guy visibly annoyed. He's got zero time for customers. His no-frills, no-fluff, no-smile service is a breath of brutally honest air. It's like being helped by the Soup Nazi of UPS stores. Honestly, throw up a tip jar. The two kids working there are a nice contrast as well. read more

Frank and his team were simply awesome to do business with. I live out of state and needed an auction item shipped to the West Coast. I was concerned about the shipment for it was very fragile. The item arrived perfect without any issues or hassles. Moreover, their pricing was very reasonable. Communication with Frank via phone and email was second to none. Responsive, friendly and extremely helpful. I wish all UPS Stores that I have done business with in the past operated like this store. Thanks again and look forward to working with you guys again in the future. read more

I'm a big fan of helping businesses get feedback through yelp and more importantly I believe in constructive criticism so that businesses can better themselves on a general basis. However, this particular establishment illustrates nothing but negativity. I came in to drop off three amazon return packages and the two men behind the counter insisted on giving me a hard time, rather than helping me through the process of giving them the packages and being on my way. The father and son both are probably the worst representatives of UPS I've ever seen in my life. In today's day and age, most people are relatively aware of shipping practices and I consider myself to understand the basic principle of shipping. I saw these two men treat a woman in front of me with such impolite manners and then did the same to me. Instead of helping me with placing labels on the boxes that I had, they began to insult my intelligence and told me I didn't read the instructions correctly. I explained that the instructions for these particular packages were vague and were not clear in their presentation, yet these two employees continued to state that I was doing something wrong. When I showed them the instructions, only then did they realize that they could easily see which label belonged to which package, like I asked them to do originally. They wasted 25 minutes of my time when the entire process could have been taken care of in 5 minutes or less, if it wasn't for their lazy, grotesque, and abhorrent behavior. Given the fact that I was correct in my assessment of the unclear instructions, they did not offer an apology for their rude behavior. This location is the worst UPS store that I have ever had the displeasure of going to. Clearly, I am not the only one that thinks this (see comments below). I hope UPS closes them down because I will most definitely be making a formal complaint to the corporate office. read more

Frank at UPS Store #5480 packed and shipped my auction purchase quickly and well insulated at a reasonable price. Would patronize again. read more

The UPS Store - Vase - Shipping Centers Near Me - Albertson, New York

I have been back there since and I had a better experience. Young man was nicer than previous visit.

Don't expect good attitude from the owner. I've been to this store many many times in the past few years. Every single time I wonder if I owe a million dollars to him. read more

If I could give this place a negative 5 Stars, I would. The owner and staff there are horrible, rude and disrespectful and extremely toxic. It's as if they are doing you the favor by you giving them your business. The owner has instructed his staff that they could be rude and speak however way they want to customers. I mean how hard could it be, you go drop off a package they scan it and still manage to treat you like garbage, gaslight you that you are the problem when all you are doing is just trying to ship your things. And if you try to make a complaint they tell you we'll go somewhere else... I've never wished for a demise of a business but this one... the only and I mean the only person who is welcoming, professional, courteous and greets you with a smile and respect is Brendan... he was the only reason I was going back but no more, can not take the abuse of the others any longer especially after hearing the Frank the owner has instructed his employees to speak rudely to customers. Instead of apologizing and trying to make things right he adds on and encourages them. Save your salad your self respect and dignity and go to another location, and if it would do anything call corporate and complain read more

Why are the people who work here so miserable? Like I get that taking packages and amazon returns isn't the most fun, but rolling your eyes at people when they walk in and sighing loudly because you saw those said returns? Really? Is it that horrible to just scan those packages? Obviously the store makes a decent profit if they owner and the son have stayed there for so long, but if they hate it that much, sell it! Don't make your customers feel like they are a burden to you! I could go to Whole Foods or Kohls, but I purposely don't. Do I loooove my job? Not really, but if I rolled my eyes or sighed at patients when they came up to me, my ass would be fired. read more

I was at the UPS store on Willis Ave Albertson ny and a woman customer said she has COVID then proceeded to walk into the UPS store. I called the health department and they stated they will investigate the issue. I called the UPS store within 15 mins of leaving and they stated they have no way of identifying the woman. I assume they have cameras within the store which they should be able to identify the woman but it seems they don't care. read more

1 star only because there is no option for zero stars. Upon entering the store, the clerk behind the counter did not even look up or acknowledge me when I said "good morning". He grabbed my packages without making eye contact, put them on the scale, scanned them and handed me my receipt. I asked if he could put some additional tape on the boxes to better secure them and he replied "Sure, I will tape your package that I need to mail and make not even one penny on". I looked at him, stunned and said "excuse me"? He repeated himself; "I don't make one cent on this and you want me to tape the box!" To quote Animal House: "Fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life, son". While the clerk was not drunk, he was fat, stupid and angry. I would either avoid this store in the future or bring every free return package I have to him in order for him to work WITHOUT EVER MAKING ONE CENT! #whatadouche read more

Absolutely the WORST service in Albertsons NY today. 5 people waiting inside the store, while the counter guy processed packages like 30 packages. I guess he was concerned about leaving at 4 pm. Literally kept all the customers waiting for over 20 mins without saying a single word of acknowledgement. Two elderly people eventually had to leave because they were standing for so long and couldn't wait anymore. He couldn't have cared less. Really poor customer service on so many dimensions. read more

This is one of the worse experiences I encountered at a facility. A simple drop off that should've taken 5 minutes took an entire 40 minutes because the owner and his father refused to explain the Amazon return process after I requested for assistance several times. The father attended to me first, and when I asked a question regarding the barcodes printed on an Amazon return sheet, he stared at me and didn't respond. He then told me to pick up my box and move so he can attend to the next person. I then went to the owner who told me "read the instructions". I read the instructions multiple times - and the instructions weren't clear. I requested to cancel the shipment however the owner stated that was not possible since the barcodes were already scanned. As I walked away to contact UPS customer service, he uttered words along the lines of how I cannot read instructions along with other unprofessional comments. I have never been so uncomfortable at a facility and felt unsafe as the owner began shaking as he spoke to mewhen i told him i will contact the corporate office. PLEASE DRIVE/WALK the additional few minutes to another location, I never thought a such a simple process would've been such a disaster. It's even worse when a business owner continues to defend his behavior over yelp, rather than realize these poor ratings are due to a pattern. And yes Frank - you did mention multiple times that this service is FREE but that doesn't give you the right to treat a customer poorly. If you're unhappy with your duties - it's wrongful of you to treat people with such disrespect, therefore you didn't take the time out to do anything that you're claiming, because the service was "FREE". read more

Came here to return a package that I had the code to scan. Said it wasn't working. Then they wanted me to pay $3 to print a label. Absolutely ridiculous. Never coming here again and don't even bother going here. Go somewhere else. read more

Horrible. The absolute worst ups store. The son acts like a complete know it all while the father digs his fingers into his mouth while speaking to you and also talks down to you. I never have thought of reviewing a UPS store, I mean it's not hard, drop off a package, often prepaid, sometimes not. Should be easy, straightforward and without drama. This store makes it stressful and unpleasant. Common decency and courtesy should prevail. These guys do not belong in a retail customer facing business. They just seem like miserable people and it reflects on how they speak and interact with their customers. They were nasty in the previous location and continue to be nasty now. I am glad to have found two other UPS stores not too far away. read more

Nasty Nasty Nasty. Are you in business to serve the public? Where are the manners? Extremely and totally unprofessional. I am willing to drive and extra 15 minutes not to be treated like a piece of rubbish. Definitely would not recommend. read more

Absolutely the worst customer service ever! Father and son are so rude and condescending towards customers. They behave as though they are being tortured whenever a customer enters the store. I refuse to be intimidated by these two but it's hard to shake their negative vibes even once you leave. I wish I can give zero stars. They threw my packages and told me that we don't get paid to send your return packages. I gave them seven boxes and they scanned only 6 so I told them that you missed one box and they started to throw the boxes and shout on me. The other man came from inside and told me to take my boxes somewhere else. One of the worst worst experience and would not recommend anyone to go this store. read more

Horrible,,, stay away. I walk in and place my medium sized package on the counter. A guy named Frank (shirt name) doesn't look up. No other customers are there, I clear my throat - I know he saw me. This guy, continues to look down, continues to play with his phone. So I stand there 4-5 minutes and he n e v e r even looked up. Unreal; he clearly has no customer services etiquette and/or doesn't care about the business. Whatever, he wasn't getting my business and my dollars. So here I am ensuring others don't have the same miserable experience. Going out of my way, I went next, to the UPS store at Manhasset and had a fine (though costly) experience. read more

DO NOT GO HERE !! YOU'VE BEEN WARNED. They have a "policy" where they do not take ANY responsibility for packages dropped off with a pre-paid label. which means, when you return a phone, or electronic device via the vendor or mfg.s instructions, they can just go through and TAKE what they choose, as they are seemingly absolved from any responsibility. Besides, the guy is a rude douchebag asshole. STAY AWAY ! read more

Read all the negative reviews, so I was prepared for the worst. Was greeted in a very friendly manner. Owner extremely courteous, reminding me to please save receipt as there have been problems with sendee before. Very pleased with service read more

I never really try to write a negative review about a place unless it is completely warranted. I stopped by this facility two days ago to drop off a couple of things to be returned and I have to say I was surprised how abrasive and rude the person who was at the counter happened to be. I don't think everyone in the world needs to be friendly however I think it is very difficult to become a regular at a local business when those who work there make you feel u comfortable. I was surprised that I had to purchase an envelope for something when I was told by customer service that I didn't need to and when I expressed that I was basically told that I needed to do it because I printed a label for it and that's that. It was clearly a surprise to me but whatever I bought the envelope and that's that. I don't think making someone feel like they "should have known better" or feel like they were wrong should have a part of anyone's customer service plan. What a shame and not a great business in our neighborhood for that reason alone especially since customer satisfaction is something that should be highly valued. read more

The worst customer service I have ever seen in my life. The father son duo are extremely rude and quite frankly it's evident they have some mental issues. From walking into the store they make no eye contact, no hello hi how's it going. When you go to pay for something they snatch things out of your hands and then throw the receipt at you. The only good reviews are from either the father son duo or their friends. REAL CUSTOMERS KNOW THE REAL DEAL. Just beware and go to the UPS on Jericho to do business. These guys lack a lot of things needed for a successful business. read more

The worse, ever!!! I'm ashamed of myself to put down that one star. I couldn't agree with the other people's review about the unfriendliness, the attitude, and the unwillingness to help any customer that walks in to the door! They should not be open for business, and UPS should not allow them to bring their company name to shame! If you are not happy to be a service provider, you should move on and stop disgrace the neighborhood! read more

The overweight white clerk behind the counter who probably still lives in his mom's basement would not tape my package up for me. It was just the top that needed to be sealed, but instead of sparing pennies, he asked if I planned to buy a roll of tape. When I politely declined, he gave me attitude telling me to take the package home and bring it back when it's taped closed. I left without a word and will never come back. This UPS store tries to nickel and dime you for everything. He was probably pissed to begin with because I had my own box with prepaid shipping label and he could only scam me on the tape. Avoid the store at all costs, he will take your money to buy more canned tuna and action figurines. And I agree with Tom C. above, I don't think he would have treated a white person this rudely. read more

This has to be the most unbelievably rude and crass UPS Store I've ever been to. The people who work here have the most incredibly mean attitude that I've faced anywhere. I came to drop off two return packages and was continuously insulted. I ran out of tape at home and asked them kindly if they could tape it for me and instead I was put down and yelled at. I kept my voice calm and they continued to assault me with verbal barrages the likes I haven't seen since on the playground in elementary school. Extremely UNPROFESSIONAL and conduct befitting children not men. I will never come here again and will go out of my way for not using UPS again. read more

This is the worst store with the rudest workers ever! They do not value customer service at all. I have shipped many boxes at various UPS stores and they kindly tape up my package and apply the shipping label - but not here. I was rudely told " I am not making enough money on this package to help you do that" I will never return to this UPS store again. read more

I've been coming to this UPS for awhile and I don't get the negative reviews. I have never written a negative review but this place warrants it. Comically rude father-son duo, I really wish I could give them zero stars. I use UPS for my business and ship a ton of boxes daily. Sometimes I have to drop off 1 or 2 at this location if it is after my designated pickup time. They are THE WORST. They won't even look up when a customer comes through the door and if they do it's to give you a disgusted look. Didn't know it was possible to be this terrible.
