I love the self- serve return station so i don't have to wait in line if there is a crowd. These guys know what they are doing and that's what counts. If I need help, they help me, quickly and efficiently. If i don't need help, they let me do my thing. I'm ok if they don't acknowledge me when i come into the store, or ignore me when i leave and say thanks have a nice day. It's not their job to open the door for me if i have a big box in my arms. Bottom line is that my packages are taken care of, and they remind me if I have a discount available through AAA. Parking can be a challenge. read more

Kevin's was not happy and didn't offer to help. there was no one in the store at the time. Ryan was worse. it's very disappointing to go into a store and be treated unkindly. Frank and his team were simply awesome to do business with. I live out of state and needed an auction item shipped to the West Coast. I was concerned about the shipment for it was very fragile. The item arrived perfect without any issues or hassles. Moreover, their pricing was very reasonable. Communication with Frank via phone and email was second to none. I'm a big fan of helping businesses get feedback through yelp and more importantly I believe in constructive criticism so that businesses can better themselves on a general basis. However, this particular establishment illustrates nothing but negativity. I came in to drop off three amazon return packages and the two men behind the counter insisted on giving me a hard time, rather than helping me through the process of giving them the packages and being on my way. The father and son both are probably the worst representatives of UPS I've ever seen in my life. In today's day and age, most people are relatively aware of shipping practices and I consider myself to understand the basic principle of shipping. I saw these two men treat a woman in front of me with such impolite manners and then did the same to me. Instead of helping me with placing labels on the boxes that I had, they began to insult my intelligence and told me I didn't read the instructions correctly. I explained that the instructions for these particular packages were vague and were not clear in their presentation, yet these two employees continued to state that I was doing something wrong. When I showed them the instructions, only then did they realize that they could easily see which label belonged to which package, like I asked them to do originally. They wasted 25 minutes of my time when the entire process could have been taken care of in 5 minutes or less, if it wasn't for their lazy, grotesque, and abhorrent behavior. Given the fact that I was correct in my assessment of the unclear instructions, they did not offer an apology for their rude behavior. This location is the worst UPS store that I have ever had the displeasure of going to. Clearly, I am not the only one that thinks this (see comments below). I hope UPS closes them down because I will most definitely be making a formal complaint to the corporate office. read more

I was at the UPS store on Willis Ave Albertson ny and a woman customer said she has COVID then proceeded to walk into the UPS store. I called the health department and they stated they will investigate the issue. I called the UPS store within 15 mins of leaving and they stated they have no way of identifying the woman. He grabbed my packages without making eye contact, put them on the scale, scanned them and handed me my receipt. I asked if he could put some additional tape on the boxes to better secure them and he replied "Sure, I will tape your package that I need to mail and make not even one penny on". I looked at him, stunned and said "excuse me"? He repeated himself; "I don't make one cent on this and you want me to tape the box!" Absolutely the WORST service in Albertsons NY today. 5 people waiting inside the store, while the counter guy processed packages like 30 packages. I guess he was concerned about leaving at 4 pm. Literally kept all the customers waiting for over 20 mins without saying a single word of acknowledgement. This is one of the worse experiences I encountered at a facility. A simple drop off that should've taken 5 minutes took an entire 40 minutes because the owner and his father refused to explain the Amazon return process after I requested for assistance several times. The father attended to me first, and when I asked a question regarding the barcodes printed on an Amazon return sheet, he stared at me and didn't respond. He then told me to pick up my box and move so he can attend to the next person. I then went to the owner who told me "read the instructions". I read the instructions multiple times - and the instructions weren't clear. I requested to cancel the shipment however the owner stated that was not possible since the barcodes were already scanned. As I walked away to contact UPS customer service, he uttered words along the lines of how I cannot read instructions along with other unprofessional comments. I have never been so uncomfortable at a facility and felt unsafe as the owner began shaking as he spoke to mewhen i told him i will contact the corporate office. PLEASE DRIVE/WALK the additional few minutes to another location, I never thought a such a simple process would've been such a disaster. It's even worse when a business owner continues to defend his behavior over yelp, rather than realize these poor ratings are due to a pattern. And yes Frank - you did mention multiple times that this service is FREE but that doesn't give you the right to treat a customer poorly. If you're unhappy with your duties - it's wrongful of you to treat people with such disrespect, therefore you didn't take the time out to do anything that you're claiming, because the service was "FREE". read more

This store makes it stressful and unpleasant. Common decency and courtesy should prevail. These guys do not belong in a retail customer facing business. I never really try to write a negative review about a place unless it is completely warranted. I stopped by this facility two days ago to drop off a couple of things to be returned and I have to say I was surprised how abrasive and rude the person who was at the counter happened to be. I don't think everyone in the world needs to be friendly however I think it is very difficult to become a regular at a local business when those who work there make you feel u comfortable. I was surprised that I had to purchase an envelope for something when I was told by customer service that I didn't need to and when I expressed that I was basically told that I needed to do it because I printed a label for it and that's that. It was clearly a surprise to me but whatever I bought the envelope and that's that. I don't think making someone feel like they "should have known better" or feel like they were wrong should have a part of anyone's customer service plan. What a shame and not a great business in our neighborhood for that reason alone especially since customer satisfaction is something that should be highly valued. read more

The overweight white clerk behind the counter who probably still lives in his mom's basement would not tape my package up for me. It was just the top that needed to be sealed, but instead of sparing pennies, he asked if I planned to buy a roll of tape. When I politely declined, he gave me attitude telling me to take the package home and bring it back when it's taped closed. I left without a word and will never come back. This UPS store tries to nickel and dime you for everything. He was probably pissed to begin with because I had my own box with prepaid shipping label and he could only scam me on the tape. Avoid the store at all costs, he will take your money to buy more canned tuna and action figurines. Sometimes I have to drop off 1 or 2 at this location if it is after my designated pickup time. They are THE WORST.
