This is a great stop off from the Middlewood Way (and could form a Middlewood Way pub crawl with the Vale Inn in Bollington, the Miners Arms in Adlington, the Boar's Head in Higher Poynton, and the Station in Marple.

This pub is clearly a popular place to come if you are eating as many of the small amount of tables were booked already, so we were pleased to find a table. Ketchup came in a shot glass which was a little odd, but it worked so no complaints, and it was a good quality Ketchup which is always a welcome change. You will need to get up to go and order, but that is easy enough and all in all the food was very good. The staff were nice and looked after us while we were there, at the same time as delivering food in a timely manner. If I am back in this area again soon I will come back here for lunch, happily.

A MUCH better price than the hotels right next to the airport, yet this hotel/pub is just minutes from the hotel. The room was large and the bathroom was so nice and updated! The cow art in the hallways was sooooo cute! I loved loved it! The pub service could have been more attentive, but we were a little impatient as we wanted to repack for the flight the next day. The food was good! My husband enjoyed his flatbread pizza. My gammon steak was incredibly salty, like way too salty. Free parking. Easy check in/out Good WiFi We are back in the UK in August and we're already booking our overnight stay at this hotel. We're looking forward to it.
