The staff members did a good job of making it a welcoming/friendly atmosphere. My appointment was with Mavis, who is simply amazing. She took her time with me and listened to all my wants and needs. She definitely went above and beyond what I was expecting. By the time she was done with me I felt like a whole new person. Thank you again Mavis and the rest of the girls at the salon, I look forward to becoming ohana! (Hawaiian for family)

Once she cut the face frames exactly like the photo, I even asked her to go more aggressive/shorter with it because I loved the way it looked so much! She will NEVER over cut, and something else I really appreciated was that she didn't try to ouch products on me during the appointment. I will come back to her for all my future cuts!

Based on her reaction I would settle for a slightly lighter shade to my roots. She said lighter shade to my brown hair was level was not a good idea. I told her my stylist colored my roots a few shades lighter with ease, which was clear in every photo I offered. She then said a bit lighter was no problem. I could not see my roots in the salon, dim lighting. I washed it the next day. My roots had a 1/2 inch light streak down my part, any way I parted. I texted her of the issue with photos and a few words. She replied with this: " I told you that lighter was not a good idea, this was your choice" I was sadly disappointed with her unprofessionalism. I told her I wouldn't let her touch my hair again. It is sad that this salon keeps a person like this on their staff.

I chose the box braids for my daughter and the quoted price was $150. I received a text from Lexy a little after 2pm that she will be running 30 minutes behind. So asked her if she wanted there at 3pm and she said yes. I then sent Lexy a picture of the box braids my daughter wanted and told her she wanted the curlsadded in there. Lexy told me she didn't have curly hair and that would be extra. I explained to Lexy that I didn't see the option to click on the boho curls but I would pay the extra and I had the curly hair. Lexy liked that text message. Minutes later she sent a rude text to me saying I can't change the style and I should have given her a warning about the style change (It wasn't a style change just a few boho curls added in the braids). I couldn't believe I was being spoken to by someone running a business who was running 30 minutes late for my appointment. Since I don't believe in patronizing businesses who speak rudely to me I told Lexy to cancel the appointment and because she was running late. She insisted she would be charging my card a penalty because I cancelled. I told her I would make a complaint to my bank and the police if she did and then asked her what was her business policy for when she is running late. I then received a text saying my appointment was cancelled and I was banned from making another appointment there again. I seriously had to laugh because there is no way I will ever make an attempt to patronize this business again!
