I can't believe how kind and professional she is, even to someone who is new to the process and asks TONS of questions like me! She made sure I wasn't uncomfortable and that the sugar wasn't pulling on my skin. She gave me specific instructions to follow before my first appointment to help me be best prepared for the procedure. Her directions for exfoliation were thorough and clear; and this is a key step to having any hair removal procedure to avoid skin irritation and ingrown hair. I'm excited to keep going and see the hair growth diminish on my legs. I get horrible razor burn, so this has been the best thing for me. Christina is happy to help with any other skin questions I have, giving suggestions of things to avoid and things to try that I already have at home... Never trying to just upsell me, she has offered me a few samples to try before buying a full-sized product from their showroom. The Spa has such a calm and peaceful atmosphere, as well. So much so that I look forward to spending a couple hours having my legs sugared, even though it isn't the most pain-free experience! (It does hurt a LOT LESS than regular waxing, however!) I'd like to add another comment about Sarah. She noticed a spot in my face a few months ago and suggested I get it checked by a Dermatologist. The spot in my face was not anything to be concerned about, however after screening my entire body by the Dermatologist, they found a Malignant Melanoma on my leg. It was removed and the pathology report came back clear after it was removed. If it hadn't been for Sarah, I wouldn't have found this and the end result may have been very different! They had goods to purchase, and it seems like every single thing in this building is based around wellness and supporting local businesses and their food is even farmed to Table. I did a magnesium float for the first time and it blew my mind. I felt renewed and recharged, and my body aches significantly less than it did before I went there. They have other services, including Massage, cold plunge and infrared sauna, and I think a few other things, but I had a terrific experience, and the staff was knowledgeable, helpful, and kind, which is always important to me. I arrive to my appointment 15 minutes early and my massage therapist did not come to get me until 3 minutes after the appointment start time. This was the first red flag, after 20 minutes into my (30) minutes stretch she stopped and said ok, now we'll work on your massage. In the back of my mind I'm think ummm ok! I could have sworn I booked a (30) minutes stretch. She stopped the stretch at exactly (20) and then left the room for (5) minutes before starting my massage. When I asked about the time on the stretch she literally said well "technically it's a (20) minutes massage and a (50) minutes massage. Well, now I'm really pisses because I'm sure they should have explained these "technicalities before booking my session. This is call False advertising!!! 1000%. So . After my services were done I was not offered any water and changed $145.00 for the full time of a (30) minute stretch and (60) massage. When addressing my concerns to management, I felt I had to defend myself and go back and forth regarding the logic behind the misrepresentation of the services time and cost. As a paying customer and for someone who went to lay to relax , I was left with more stress and frustration that could have been handled more professionally the moment that I addressed my disappointment. I will be contact corporate and filing a complaint with state board immediately concerning the unprofessional and false advertisement of sales and services.
