I feel I have no choice. There was also a queue behind us, when we got out into the street a few people followed us to again out, said they had been turned away by to the rudeness of this man. I know at least 6 people then went to Unique Ink and all had tattoos there. my friend and I were so disappointed by this welcome we did not receive we would never go back and I know the other people who left felt the same. I have seen this studio is run by an individual who on social media seems to care about client experience.... I honestly think you should get rid of the reception/welcoming chap as he is clearly turning away business for you.

I emailed the…read moredrawing of what I wanted to the guys at Ruby Arts about a week in advance and showed up on a Saturday (the day they do first come, first served appointments) and got on the books for 3:30 pm. By the time I got back for my turn, they had already drawn up the template and were ready to go. Because I'm picky, I debated on a few things and ended up having to ask them to make a few changes, and they were happy to oblige. I know a lot of tattoo guys have the reputation for being assholes, but these guys were friendly, professional, and my tattoo came out looking fantastic! He (Mick) was very friendly with the price, too. I can say I'm proud to give these guys 5 well-deserved stars for their hard work and when I get ready to have my next piece done, I'll go to Ruby Arts for sure. Well done!

I booked my tattoo telling Mick exactly what I wanted (writing on my inner bicep) and he wrote it all down for me and told me to come back the following week for my appointment. So I drove the hour drive to get to the studio on the day of my appointment and was looking forward to it! As I arrived he'd forgotten what it was I wanted, so the consulation I travelled an hour for was completely pointless. I explained what I wanted again and he went to print out a font to see if I liked it. I didn't like the first font he offered me and I thought it was too big as well. He was extremely rude and not very welcoming at all. It was almost like it was my fault I didn't like the font. I asked to see an alternative font and he went off into the other room, showing an obvious annoyance. He came back with a different font and I decided that I liked the font but wanted it without capital letters and just in lower case. He said "if we keep changing it, we'll be here all night" in a very grumpy and intimidating way. I said "well it's going to be on my body for the rest of my life" and he just looked at me and didn't say anything. In the end, after more of his intimdation and pure rudeness towards me and my idea i decided to leave and book an appointment somewhere else. He did not apoligise or show any sort of emotion. I left feeling extremely disappointed since I had planned this tattoo for a long time and was really looking forward to it. I wasted my afternoon travelling to the studio and I also wasted money in petrol to get there. He may be a good artist but having a good tattoo experience is vital. He was unwelcoming, rude, intimidating and made me feel pressured into getting a tattoo I didn't want. I will definately not be returning and would not recommend this studio to anyone.
