The Trinity Knot feels like a mini mall, as the space amounts to four storefronts in downtown Wilmington. It went under new ownership in 2016, and the store feels less cluttered than it did under the previous ownership. There are several vendors carrying both antique and modern items. Here are some things that jumped out at me during my most recent visit in February 2016: -costume jewelry -woodworking for the walls -tea cups and saucers -mod cookie jars -retro glassware -boutique clothing -original Pyrex bowls (individual and sets) -dining tables -a set of green velvet and wooden chairs -faux fur coats -bar cabinets -beaded purses -porcelain dolls -military jackets -china sets -coins I picked up a vintage lace gown from 1965 for just $18. Great thrift store disguised as an antique boutique. Staff is knowledgeable about merchandise like used t-shirts, etc. New staff and owner bob a bit aggressive in their pursuit of sales. If that's what you're looking for I recommend shopping at this place. They are not respecting our elderly and most vulnerable of society by paying lip service to prevent the spread of Covid-19. Six foot distancing signs and mask required signs on the door. However, I was the only person staff, bob "the owner", or anyone else wearing a mask and practicing six foot distancing. read more

Open at 2 pm....on a Sunday????? The owner has a myopic view of the shopping trends in this area.

Over the past five years or so I've been n in this store several times. In general, I like it. I've found a couple of great buys and had decent experiences with the staff. With the exception of one occasion. Trinity used to have a little section that featured hand crafted clothing, mosty blouses and dresses. The clothing was well made, trendy and reasonable and I'd bought several pieces. One day I find the clothing section is gone. When I asked a male staff member what happened he was sarcastic and said. "It's not there anymore." I was like, "Yes, I see that. But do you know if she's selling anywhere else?" In a loud tone, he angrily snapped, "How would I know?" Maybe there was bad blood between them or maybe he was having a bad day. People who work as clerks or salespeople or any other profession where they must interact with the general public need to learn to check their bad moods at the door. And grow up. read more
