Multiple storefronts and lots of different types of items to choose from. May take several visits to see everything.

This store has a great array of casual gifts for friends and family. They had great Christmas gifts that were on sale since the season was over. Prices are honestly fair. Great variety of kitchen items I've never seen before. Clean restrooms, friendly staff, great for hobbies, easy parking and easy access to the streets and highway!

I almost didn't want to bother, but he had tried so hard to get me there before it closed. Half of this place is devoted to gifts and cute household decorations. Turn right as you enter and you'll be headed toward all the home dec items. I almost couldn't believe it. There really was a quilt shop inside here. That's to the left as you enter the door. Hubby quickly found his favorite area. There was plenty of Star Wars fabric. We got some of each, to add to what we had already collected. Now I'll be able to start on that sci-fi quilt for the hubby. There were traditional fabrics such as Civil War era prints, colorful modern prints, and plenty of Moda. Sample quilts were hanging in the classroom area. Cute purses showcased the patterns that were for sale. This business is located on the NW corner of Coal City Rd and the northern end of Division Rd. (actually S. Frontage Rd. on the N side of Coal City). The Yelp map is wrong. If you are going by the map in Quilter's Travel Companion, it's wrong, too. It wasn't easy to turn around on a two-lane gravel road with ditches on each side with our 16-foot trailer, but it was worth the extra trouble to be able to visit at least *one* quilt shop on this trip.

It went under new ownership in 2016, and the store feels less cluttered than it did under the previous ownership. There are several vendors carrying both antique and modern items. Here are some things that jumped out at me during my most recent visit in February 2016: -costume jewelry -woodworking for the walls -tea cups and saucers -mod cookie jars -retro glassware -boutique clothing -original Pyrex bowls (individual and sets) -dining tables -a set of green velvet and wooden chairs -faux fur coats -bar cabinets -beaded purses -porcelain dolls -military jackets -china sets -coins I picked up a vintage lace gown from 1965 for just $18. It was an incredible find! I would highly recommend this spot given the size and abundance of options. It's a must-shop!

If that's what you're looking for I recommend shopping at this place. They are not respecting our elderly and most vulnerable of society by paying lip service to prevent the spread of Covid-19. Six foot distancing signs and mask required signs on the door. However, I was the only person staff, bob "the owner", or anyone else wearing a mask and practicing six foot distancing.

Update: it's been 2 1/2 years since we had our mid century sofa re-upholstered by this business…read moreand we are still absolutely thrilled by the outcome. The sofa has now survived a pack and move out of the area and now we get to enjoy our "new" old piece in an all new setting. It's truly a classic timeless work of art now and we are still so appreciative. The only reason I didn't five star at for promptness back then was because it took a really long time--about 7 months-- but we understand now it was so worth the wait--and wanted to follow up with how well it's holding up!. We are so grateful and happy and hope Bob is doing well. He's a true artist--the real deal!

Owner Bob was nice and seemed to know his stuff. This being my first time for a reupholster job on an antique piece I inherited from a family member dating back to 1883. All along it was something he could handle and said once he got the piece he would work hard and fast as he was "SO BUSY." First hiccup, he couldn't get the tufting to look right as I requested and so I had to forgo the tufting. Secondly, the warehouse he used to purchase the gimp from was for sale and he wasn't able to get the gimp I needed.... then he talked me into the double welting idea where he couldn't even get the lines straight. On top of all of this it was delivered with a chunk of wood missing from the leg. For over a month I got the run around from Bob about how he was going to handle this never telling me until a month in a half later that it wasn't his fault and he wasn't going to fix it despite the fact that I had several photos of this couch just before it left to go to his shop with no damage to any of the wood. Overall his professionalism was lacking and his customer service left us feeling unsatisfied. We are still in need to a fix to this important piece of furniture but clearly we will not being doing any business with Bob anytime in the future.
