The Tribal Dog offers more than just your traditional training or care. We focus on the life skills that will help form a stronger, healthier bond between you, your family & your dog. A well learned dog makes for a wonderful companion and a welcome member of the community. Whether its daily care sessions, formal training, private sessions for behavioral issues or even caring for your pet overnight, we can incorporate predetermined training sessions into the time we spend with your dog.

Meet the Business Owner: Heidi B.
Heidi didn't attend professional dog training school; she grew up in one & has a lifetime of experience with dogs of all kinds. Born into a family of canine professionals, she shares their passion.
She titled her first dog in obedience at 12 & put the first championship points on her parents dog at 15. After years of assisting under her father, she struck out on her own; focusing on life skills training, re-schooling rescue dogs & coaching obedience competitors, she has instituted training programs & worked with students from New England to the Carolinas under her own business for the past 15 yrs.
The former director of a herding dog rescue she founded 14 yrs ago, she has a special love & understanding of the working breeds. Her teaching methods are eclectic & geared to making the training process fun & easy to understand for the owner as well as the dog. Drawing on a variety of proven methods w/ the knowledge that not one style suits all students.
