Well I want to tell you a little bit about junk box on August 25th junk box was supposed to be at…read moremy home at 9:00 at 10:00 I called him they said oh I guess we forgot to put you on the schedule real apologetic said I'll be out there at 11:30 which he was Jacob is his name we got here he had it a trailer that was 3/4 the way full of a refrigerator to refrigerators and a cabinet he took what he could take off my property he said the price would be $378 but because of the confusion that morning with the scheduling he said he'd do it for $300 so if I'm paying this gentleman for the half a load or less than a half load I'm handing him $300 cash plus an extra 50 cuz I told him I might add a couple things he says well when I come back I'll come back with an empty trailer he was supposed to have been back here on Tuesday he called me and we changed the date to Thursday at 9:30 he calls me at 9:30 says he's going to have to reschedule I said okay I had most of the stuff piled up that I want to take it off but when he come back he come back with a half full trailer which he did tell me he would come back with an empty one he took what he could take and then told a friend of mine but that was all he could take and he left I called him I brought all this to his attention about the trailer being half-full he said he was done here I said you told me you was coming back with an empty trailer he said if I would have done that I would have lost money he said I gave you two half loads that's it well I didn't get to have cuz the first trailer was 3/4 away full and the second trailer was about 3/4 away full so he took about 2/3 of my stuff and basically told me tough luck which I have now called a another junk service to come back and pick up what this gentleman Jake who is the general manager wouldn't take or wouldn't work a deal out with me I don't usually do this to any companies but I'm just tired of being dumped on and just kind of stuff just makes me very very upset thank you for your time for whoever is reading this beware things are not always as they say they are. I asked him how he takes payment and he said card or check to just write him a check I noticed the water was taking 2 minutes to get warm not hot & only lasting a quarter of my bath tub before turning cold. I called Tom left a message w no response. The next day I called again & gt a text at 1130p stating there is an owners manual & as a plumber he was not allowed I had the hot water on full blast and never had to move my hand. He advised me he did not sell me the heater and that when he "was in my area " would stop by to look. In the meantime the check that I wrote did not go through I think due to ID theft in Feb my old acct number was on the check. So he texts me at 530a he was coming for cash & 45 bank fee. I told him I wasn't doing cash and he could have my card info after he fixed my heater. Next thing I know he's calling saying he's at my front door. Bec I wasn't coming fast enough he starts pounding on my door with his fist I am a single woman living alone and I have an irrate man trying to scare me with fear at my door? We began to argue & he screamed at the top of his lungs calling me a fucking idiot and raging about how he was going to the Sheriff's office if I don't pay him. I advised I had every intention of paying him and that this was not on purpose but the expectation was he help me figure out what's wrong and he had not treated me well as a customer. He continued to birate me I felt very unsafe & began thinking of how to protect myself if needed He continued screaming making accusations against me cursing and cutting me down. It felt demonic He made me be recorded to adjust the temperature in case of a lawsuit He made touch the screwdriver while saying you are adjusting the temp not me turn the screwdriver clockwise until you hear a click I asked how is the water being hotter fixing the bathtub being warm for a quarter way fill up? He told me I was stupid and didn't know anything and I said yeah bec Im not a plumber Instead of being understanding over a mistake and helping me to get my heater working he chose to act like a fool He bragged about all his good reviews and I said you'll be getting a bad one now He said yeah & when you do Ill put up the pic of your bounced check for people to see This just confirmed to me this mans lack of character & lack of emotional intelligence. I found it interesting that it took 5 seconds to scan my card So here I sit hoping the water heater works bec he said never call him again He said the water heater not working has nothing to do with him. I am deeply disturbed by this experience and I hope others will think about a larger company to use where employees can be held accountable for their behavior They would have taken my credit card. They would have returned my calls. They would have came back out for customer satisfaction. When you pay for a service you expect the item to operate correctly. And you expect to be treated professionally Having grace and mercy over mistakes is also a good quality to have in dealing with the public This man does none of these things. Hes getting 500 hr and is so sure of himself that he did nothing wrong and his work is perfect He also made fun of me when I said as the professional you're not explaining anything mimicking my voice back Lessons I learned to not use a one man co with no accountability to not write checks & use your bank card so you can file Reg E claims if needed. Do not pay cash for the same reason. To get an outline of the expectations after the install and what happens if it doesn't work properly? To know how they will address your concerns after. You can be the best but the way you devalue women and make them feel fearful around you erases any skill set you may have sir You lack character integrity & morales
