Never have I ever paid $12,000 to be treated so poorly by a contractor. First they took a big…read moredeposit from me in March to not deliver until June. Second, there was awful communication about plant care (watering) requirements until I called to tell them the plants were dying. Next, they mulched right up to the stems, which even novice gardeners know is a no-no. When the owner came by to discuss the issues he was actually shouting at me in my own yard and refused to replace sick plants. Think twice before hiring these guys.

We used this company to design and install a new landscape scheme after our septic system failed…read moreand we had to take down much of the tree and planting in front of out home. They did a decent job with the design snd installation and were ok maintaining it for the next couple years, but it became increasingly difficult to get their attention for necessary maintenance services over the three years they said it takes to fully establish a new landscape design. This year we had already agreed to a full season of maintenance work at their standard prices and were looking forward to their services. This is a pricy firm, but we never complained about this or tried to negotiate their prices. We paid what we were billed and did so promptly within a day or two of being billed. We did not have a history of being a difficult client. Quite the reverse. This year, the third year of the initial maintenance period they said was so important, we discussed replacing 9 of 12 plants of one species that died. Another larger plant was doing badly, and we discussed replacing it with a tree that would be a more costly investment. The designer contact we had always worked with promised a proposal for the services we discussed as an addition to the maintenance proposal we already had in place for the season. We did not complain or discuss any price adjustment for the plants that died We also had a minor issue with a bill for mulch that we asked to be adjusted and several sections of the irrigation system that needed attention. When I contacted the office to follow up on the proposal and discuss the mulch bill, the response was curt, impolite and unprofessional. When I asked the landscaper/designer, with whom we always had discussed our services, to call me, my request was refused, we were notified that the firm would not service us any longer, and would not take any further responsibility for the landscaping problems we had with their initial installation. I have never been treated like that from any company we have ever done business with, and I don't believe we did anything to warrant this kind if treatment. It is clear to me the company has serious management issues maintaining what they install. They resist replacing plants that die or do not do well. It also seems that they feel this part of their business doesn't pay them enough to give it the attention it deserves. I would not recommend doing business with this company. Their follow up and their concern for customer satisfaction after the initial installation is paid is seriously deficient. Also, apparently from other reviews we have seen so far this year, we are not alone in the treatment we received.

Ademire with Moriah and his teams were professional, flexible and respectful throughout the entire process. Ademire answered all of my many questions before we contracted his company, and he communicated promptly in every stage of the project. His crews were on time and worked with us to tailor key elements, such as final grading and sprinkler head positions (thanks, Alex), all with a smile and no skimping on time or materials. A special compliment as well to his plumbing service for expert install of the irrigation back flow valve and to Mass HydroSeed for prompt and friendly service. All in all, we are very pleased and can recommend Moriah Landscaping without reservation.

Left the piles of crap to freeze solid, blocking the entrance and half the parking spaces for weeks. Never coming back with the equipment needed to clean up thier mess. But they come back 2 weeks later to scrape an inch of fluff. I see plenty of praises from out of state clients. They don't know shit either. This is local, all I have to do look outside. Stick to lawns, bag the clippings. You obviously can't bag snow, or remove it, only move it where it's not wanted. Try recruiting in Canada instead of Jamaica. The 3 elderly ladies that fell climbing over your crap and were injured hope that you 1) Have good insurance 2) Never come back.
