I'd hit something on the road, a piece of steel that lodged inside my brake drum? Or was it an internal part that broke off??? A burst of fire, then smoke, then, screw it... Whatever it was, my wheels hadn't fallen off, so, l just kept driving my new 5.7l Hemi Dodge Durango. It was Thanksgiving night 2018 and everything was closed. I turn up the sound, Googled "trailer repair Oklahoma City" and headed straight there. Booking a hotel room, I called them the next morning and talked to Paul. Paul listened to my story and told me no problem, he could fix it. By that time the squealing noise, screeching from that trailer wheel was unbearable, but I dragged it to Terry's Trailers, unhitched and left it with Paul. Long story short, they removed the wheel, and drum. Everything was mangled, the brake pads were gone, the shoes were wrapped in a ball, the brake plate was bent and the bolts had fused. 5 hours later after 2 phone calls and 5 texted photos of the mangled parts, my trailer was back on the road. Thanks to Terrys Trailers, Paul and his crew. These guys know their stuff. Their prices are fair and they were quick. I can't recommend them enough. They saved the day and put me back on the road. They may have been in business a long time (Lord only know how), but they haven't learned a thing in all those years. I had a smaller car trailer built the first time, and after having to bring it back several times (first electrical problems, and than axle problems) it finally ran correctly. They gave me a discount if I ever needed another trailer built for anything since the first one was so messed up. Well, due to my foolishness, I tried them again. This time I needed just about the same thing, another car trailer, only slightly larger. Well, wouldn't you know it, the same problems, plus a few more. I won't go into all the things that were wrong with it (the first one was when one of the wheels actually fell off while transporting a car, luckily no one was hurt)). After 6 trips back to the shop, all was finally repaired. If you are going to spend thousands of dollars for a custom built trailer, please, there are plenty of reputable, hard working, people that know what they are doing, shops here in Oklahoma City. Give those a call. Than, if all the others fall off the face of the earth, and Terrys Trailers is the only shop left in the Mid West, and you actually need to have a trailer built to move something, than I wish you the best of luck.
