Wasn't planning on purchasing that day, and really wasn't expecting to purchase from there because of the reviews I read on here. They gave me such a good deal on the bike I couldn't pass it up. The entire staff was super nice, especially the guy who helped with the financing, working with a local credit union to get me a great rate. Everyone there, including the guys in the parts shop, were great. I will definitely be going back when I'm ready to purchase another bike or any parts or accessories. No clue what happened for everyone to have such a bad experience, not sure if staff has changed or if you people are just terrible and blaming it on them, but I have not a bad thing in the world to say about the folks at Maxey's Motorsports after doing business with them.

I just know when someone buys something brand new it should not have a noticeable scratch on it and they assume you're okay w/ it. Our sales man hasn't even made a follow up call to see how things are going with it as you should do in sales. But you know who has called?!? Todd. Great employee and he should be running the place. After reading other reviews I guess I made a bad decision from purchasing here and won't again. I will take my business elsewhere.

I walked in, walked through and office piled with dust covered documents (it looked like it was abandoned 20 years ago) then walked into a large motorcycle storage area, packed with all sorts of older bikes in various stages of disassembly, and only 10% or so looked like recent additions. The rest looked like they had not been touched in a decade. There was a counter in this area, and there were accessories hanging on racks, and they looked like they had not been touched in 20 years. The shop itself was at the end of this boneyard, but I did not want to just barge in. I was getting nervous about the place, then a very nice lady appeared and asked me the nature of my business. I introduced myself and stated my situation. She mentioned that she was the proprietor's wife, and she would relay my request to her husband and he would get in touch with me to discuss this further. He never did, which in hindsight was a good call. As I looked at pictures on the walls and other indicators, it was clear that this shop had an affinity for vintage flat track bikes. Ironically, in 1973 I raced a Bultaco Astro in Oklahoma City and surrounding tracks. Anyway, I needed a clutch pack replacement, electronic ignition install, full wiring harness replacement, and front brake overhaul along with tire replacement. That was clearly beyond their capabilities so I did it myself. I would have handed them a grand or more to do the work, but I don't think they could no matter what I would pay them, so I soldiered on and got my bike back on the road.

The short story is that I made my appointment to get my belt replaced and my belt guard bracket repaired. The time came and I trailered my bike and dropped it off. To a lot of people, a 23 year old Dyna isn't something that you would give 2 shakes about but it's mine, my 26th bike in my riding history. To me, and that's what is actually important, it's the The epitome of cool. A short week later they called and it was ready. My own mud dobbers nest was wiped clean and my bracket looked factory new. He explained to me a slight issue inside my primary and told me some concerns he had about chrome primary issues. The price was half what my previous shop was going to charge and he allowed me to furnish my own parts. Great little shop. Nice selection of parts and bikes and outstanding knowledge of bikes. They do a lot of police bikes and is a real good place to trust your motorcycle issues to. I am a fairly critical person because I have been working on my own bikes for a while. When we arrived in OK my front through axel was completely off and lost. We immediately called around to bike shops to try and fix the problem but no one really wanted to help or they couldn't help. We got recommended Pro Bike by the Trek bike shop so I gave them a call and they helped over the phone tremendously! We drove to the shop and was greeted by John and he came to the rescue! John immediately started looking for the part and found it! He fixed it right on the spot and they even tuned up my bike! They saved our day!
