The Tox massage was helpful and a disappointment. From the time I booked online, where I was referred after getting a few questions answered by phone, the customer experience was irritating. Without any relationship established, I was soon contacted to reschedule in a way that suited their needs. Since services are prepaid online, they suggested I give the $300+ massage away, when I was unable to reschedule at times they suggested. While my goal was to find a regular spot for lymphatic massage, this type of one-way flexibility, and negotiating me out of my time, isn't what I'm looking for in a relationship with a wellness provider. I was essentially forced to follow through with an appointment, while it was evident that this place was not going to be my regular. Yes, they upsell before and after massage. Not in itself an issue, but a reminder that they are more invested in the spend per visit than a longstanding relationship. Glad I passed on a package. Later, I tried to determine if this location was under renovation or had closed down. It remains on their website. When I called to ask the only other studio in the area, they were evasive. read more

Absolutely loved everything about this place! I went in for a facial and 90 min lymphatic massage. The facial was relaxing and my face felt sculpted and lifted after. The massage was the real show stopped, though. I have auto immune issues and can both retain fluid in my legs and suffer from digestive issues. This addressed both and felt utterly fantastic. This was a very nice experience but I do think it was a bit expensive. My boyfriend and I came to get lymphatic drainage massages aka The Tox. We got a 60 minute massage for $215 each It started with affirmations and they spent a lot of time on our legs. Then came the stomach and then quickly the arms and the back of the body. We both left feeling great but also a bit sore. I definitely saw the benefits and immediate sculpting but the effects went away pretty quickly. Bad experience from start to end. They told me to get there 30 min ahead and then didn't get me to the massage table until 10 min after my appointment was supposed to start because there was another client in my space. They are basically booking back to back so that other clients getting dressed eats into your appointment time. By the time I was on the table undressed we were 15 min into my appointment time. I didn't want to immediately fuss because I thought she will extend the time on the other end. But no. She finished even 15 min earlier making it a 60min massage what was supposed to be a 90min massage. The space on the Melrose is tiny and only separated by two black curtains so that you can hear the clients next to you and anyone who walks in. The setup feels worse than any cheap $50 Asian parlor you would go to. They have loud music blasting and a bright skylight in your face which feels very unrelaxing. I asked her if it's possible to put some softer music in and she mumbled back that "no we only have this music and this isn't supposed to be relaxing". HUH?!! You go in to do something good for your body and you walk out feeling agitated and scammed. Not worth the money, find a better lymphatic drainage place. read more

I'm writing a second review just to let you guys know I'm really shocked at seeing some of the bad reviews this place I've been going to for a few years and I even got to visit the location in New York City we are lucky to even have this place it has helped my body so much and the girls here are really effective with giving their true attention to the parts of your body that need it! My personal experience was everything stress related eating bad related being a mom with a full-time job related all of that to having problem areas like stomach issues and bloating. I saw a bunch of ads for these guys on IG and various models I follow tagged them so I was curious. I "took advantage" of their cyber week special of $175 The massage therapist I had was nice enough but when I told her I had problems with my lower back she suggested I get a breast reduction. After that I was just uncomfortable and in my head, like what else does this woman think. It didn't help that the entire time I was getting the massage they were doing a training next to me so all I could hear was them laughing and talking. I will never return here. I have contacted them multiple times for a refund with no response. I purchased a service for future use at the OC location, they closed down this location, notified no one and the corporate office has yet to respond to any of my emails requesting a refund for the $319 paid. Be very careful with this company, do not fall for any sales or offers for future services. Only pay for a service already offered. It's always a bit heartbreaking to fall in love with a brand only to have their service kill the over all loyalty. While the method they use is absolutely, hands down, the best (depending on the tech though), it's been a nightmare headache anytime I've tried to book sessions. The litany of mistakes, wrong charges and misallocated sessions were something I had been willing to work through with their ever rotating staff of front desk people because Linda, Sabrina and Sasha have all been worth the frustration, but today was the end of the line. Excited by their re-opening I immediately reached out to book two sessions. Once again it was a long winded hassle to get the dates right. Once again I went through the process of confirming how many sessions I had already paid for and once again they got both my dates wrong and my charges. Dates we fixed right away because the email was clear and it was wrong. The charges however... 1) They said nothing when booking that there would be an extra fee. It's been MONTHS since we've been able to book, they give no directions on how to access an online portal and change their pricing regularly. So forgive me if I didn't remember that I'd paid for a massage only (while now now trying to book a massage and facial) - would it really have been too much trouble for you to have reminded me and shared that there would be a price difference? 2) Apparently it was... Not only was there no mention of the charge when booking, but there was also no receipt - something they used to always send after charging my card (after actually first getting permission to do so). So it was days later when I noticed the charges on my credit card. I reached out asking what the charges were for and they said there was the price discrepancy between what I had and what I now booked. "We assumed you knew that." 3) I'm a very clear, concise and direct communicator, but apparently pointing out areas where their service team is lacking in communication and clarity is offensive to them because even though they specifically say in their IG posts that you should DM to book, their social media manager felt "uncomfortable" helping me to book. If you're going to offer that as a mode through which to book, it's probably good for the business to ensure she's properly trained on how to help people. 4) Shockingly the manager then reached out to also say that since I've been such a loyal customer I should have known that I'd owe more money... Again, it's been months. They do nothing to direct us to any online portal where I could check my existing sessions or how much I paid for them. You're in a service business focused on wellness... it's really jaw dropping how easily this could have been helped and yet they chose instead to double down on this idea that I should have known, they didn't need my permission to charge my card and that they needn't send a receipt for said charges... 5) In the end, I've had hundreds of lymphatic drainage massages and will opt to be done with the Tox / go back to the other practitioners who've been helpful (seriously, lymphatic drainage is a tremendous gift to your immune system), but for the lacking facility, the exorbitant prices and the abysmal service, it was time to say good bye. I do hope they dig in and do better on service - I firmly believe the Tox technique is the best I've experienced, but the stress their team inflicts in getting to and through the massage itself almost negates the experience entirely. read more

Review for the OC location. First impression of the receptionist on the phone and the one that greeted me when I got there was ehh. Just didn't get the vibe they want to answer questions or even care as far as service. But my actually massage therapist really made up for it. Dajah was so sweet and informative, excited to have me as a client answered all my questions. And she overall gave me a good experience. Post massage for me I did feel like my bloating went down a lot. Like I can immediately tell the difference. I would go again ! I had a service here about a week ago and have been ill ever since. When I arrived, they did not have any locker room facilities, you just go into a curtained off area with a small treatment bed. Before the service began, they attempted to upsell a sheet facial mask, to which I declined. The best way I can describe the service is awkward. It was not particularly relaxing or stimulating, and I just felt tired afterwards. I did not get any of the slimming effects, and my lymph nodes have been incredibly swollen since I left. The best part was that they give you a rose quartz crystal and a Palo santo at the end of the treatment. read more

This is how a lymphatic drainage massage is done. It felt really good so my experience was overall well. The 90 minute one is the one that you get the most benefit from. It really moves your blood around. I book one every month. If you have tattoos you really need this because your skin is trying to breath and get rid of toxins while you put poison in it. I originally requested an appointment for a specific time, however after waiting for a few hours the receptionist got back to me that the appointment was no longer available. She suggested we move the appointment to the following day and offered me two times- but I was late because my daughter had an emergency doctors appointment. They said no problem, I was undressed and began my massage when they stopped the service and said I had to leave due to scheduling conflicts. I was also charged. The front end staff is great and the actual masseuse was incredible sweet and very thorough in her massage. My legs were literally 1/3 smaller than when I came in. I will admit it is more painful than I had anticipated but well worth the sacrifice for the end result. The only thing I will say I disliked was that the many service rooms are only separated by long curtains so the entire massage I could hear the other masseuse's and their clients talking the entire time. Which was rather annoying, but the price is reasonable so I didn't knock a star off. Overall a great result so I'll be booking another very soon. read more

I have received treatments at both the LA and Beverly Hills location and they have all been fabulous, I always feel amazing after and see the slimming results. Crazy how much fluid and toxins we carry around! Honestly, I bet a bunch of people came because of social medial influencers' recommendations (so did I) but this place is OVERRATED, sorry... People were very friendly! But the actual service is just mediocre. The massage lady told me that she HAD to take before and after photos though I asked her not to. When she took the BEFORE photo of my stomach, she asked me to place my arms on top of my chest. But when she took the AFTER photo, she told me that she's going to work on my arms and asked me to raise my arms over my head, which obviously made my stomach appear smaller because i was naturally sucking in my stomach when staying in that position.
