We had been to 3 other places who did not have the size tire we needed for our Scat Pack Charger. The 3 places we checked even tried to find what we needed at a shop in a neighboring town. When they couldn't they recommended us to go here. The 2 guys at the front desk couldn't care less about helping us. They said they had 2 walk ins and didn't even bother trying to see if they had the tires in stock. It was 1:30pm. We left and went to a shop of similar size. We told him about this shop and he chuckled and said he has taken up to 20 walk ins before. Go figure. I'll leave a positive review for the other shops just for making an effort to help us. Coming from Vegas I could imagine that lack of effort, but a small town... very disappointing. I'd give my business to another shop.

I was referred to Garret Tires and Treads by another local business. I was blown away by the entire staff's willingness to help me as I am from out of state. They indicated they may be able to fix it in one day---maybe 2. As I waited, I am terrible with names but the woman who helped me when I called in went out and brought me lunch. Then---as I tried to figure out what I was going to do if my truck was not finished, I walked out of the waiting room and my truck was done. Talk about an incredible answer to prayer. I cannot express my thankfulness for the hospitality from everyone at this store. You went above and beyond to help me and I will be on my way to Texas in the morning. I went in at 8:00 am and had my keys back in my hand and was off on my way by 9:30. Quick tip: If waiting isn't quite your favorite, I've found that bringing a dollar to get a $0.75 soda and $0.25 for a crank of candy to relax and watch some YouTube while waiting is an excellent experience, as well.

I stopped by the Walmart in Lexington, NE during my drive to Lincoln, NE. When I left Walmart, I…read morerealized that I needed to gas up for the next leg of my drive. Looked around to see what my gas station options were and found Sinclair gas station across the freeway from the Walmart. Perfect! It was the same direction I needed to go to get back on the freeway to head east toward Lincoln. Sinclair gas is right outside this Nebraskaland Tire shop. It's really a truck stop, with gas pumps for automobiles, and a separate gas pump area for longer trucks. This is a nice stop because it's quieter and easy to drive right up to the pump without having to wait. This was also the first Sinclair gas station I've come across during my drive from CA where the pump accepted tap to pay (instead of having to physically insert my credit card). I was really happy about the newer gas pump that has this feature! Because I'm always worried about losing my credit card when I have to dig it out of my purse. The gas prices here are also pretty good.

Although their schedule was full, Logan took time to determine that my car was safe to drive to my destination. He inspired confidence, listening to my concerns, and was thorough in exploring possible issues with the car. He diagnosed the issue and even offered to speak with the mechanic I've scheduled an appt with at my final destination. Needed to get there at a specific time, but ended up sitting on the off ramp, not wanting to drive the car any further so not to ruin the tire or rim.
