I spoke to Josh by phone and he invited me to bring the car in as soon as I arrived in town. By the time I got there, he had all the paperwork he needed from the insurance company and he simply had to inspect the car and provide the estimate. He was knowledgeable and pleasant and thorough in all he did. I needed a rental car while they worked on mine and he made all the necessary arrangements for that. When I picked up my car yesterday, not only was the repair perfectly done, but both the inside and the outside of the car were clean as a whistle. I would recommend this shop without any reservation. Said their system kept 'glitching' out so just decided to charge my ac even though it didn't need it. Then said I needed a new blower motor. Charged me over $200 for what turned out to be a totally wrong diagnosis. Went to Don Aadsen Ford and they did a physical inspection -- now there's a thought -- and saw that the cabin air filter was chewed. Used a camera to find a dead mouse lodged inside causing the whirring noise. Their entire repair was less than K-O's incorrect diagnosis. Went back to K-O to let them know, thinking they might realize their error and want to refund me at least a little. Nope. Held strong to their incorrect diagnosis and said the blower motor would die on me -- which it has not, everything is working just fine. Wish I'd never gone here.

As a woman traveling alone, I was very worried about having trouble on the Alaska Highway in the middle of nowhere. I contacted Done Rite and they said they could get me fixed up and on the road. I left teardrop with them and received a call later saying that the axle was not bent, that the tires just needed to be greased and they were having trouble getting the tail light to work. Didn't seem right and I questioned how a lack of grease could cause a blow out and the guy assured me this was the case and I did not have a bent axle! For some stupid reason I believed him (he was personable and made me feel as if he were doing me a favor by getting me back on the road) so I acquiesced. The lights they said had to be rewired (whole trailer) and a bad tail light and greasing wheels was $800!!!!! Yes, you guessed it--on my return trip in July, in less than 3000 miles, I had my brand new tire blow out on the Alaska Highway and was I pissed. Fortunately, a guy pulled over to help and he was a mechanic! He knew nothing of the history but told me, as he put my spare on, that the wheel needed to be greased!!!! When i returned to Missoula, I called up and asked to speak to owner to discuss the trouble--I was told he would call back. Nothing, I called several weeks later and got the same treatment. They DO NOT STAND BEHIND their work as stated--they are dishonest and dishonorable--stay away! I never was able to ask what happened or have them try to make it right.
