The Ticket Clinic represented a family member for an out-of-state speeding ticket in Kingsland,…read moreGeorgia involving driving more than 15 mph over the highway speed limit. Because the court does not allow Trial by Written Declaration, the only options were to appear in person or hire an attorney; otherwise, pleading no contest and paying the ticket would have meant points on the driving record for the next three years, a separate Georgia Super Speeder penalty, and likely higher insurance rates. Even with very short notice (about 48 hours), The Ticket Clinic was able to move the hearing date and successfully negotiate a settlement reducing the charge to a non-reportable offense in less than 30 days. This avoided Georgia DDS points, the Super Speeder surcharge, and the need to appear in court. Highly recommend and would definitely use again!

I went to the defense group in the end of 2007 for a bogus criminal charge. With the amount of…read moremoney they charged me, I assumed that the facts and situation would make it a homerun case. Jad Brewer worked my case and it seemed like he literally did ZERO work. I spoke with several other attorneys after the fact and they all agreed that Jad Brewer only did what public defendant would have. So basically I spent several thousands of dollars to get what I could have received for free. To make it even worse, once my case went to pre trial diversion it was never mentioned again. I kept calling the office to see if they heard any news or if I should do anything. They said the same thing every time, be patient. Turns out it has been over a year with no progress. I contacted them today about the situation and their exact words were, " I can give you the number for you to call yourself." I could not believe that the lawyers that didn't do anything to begin with didn't even see the case through to the end. Choosing the defense group was the worst investment I have ever made. Now I have to pay a different, BETTER attorney to get the rest of my case resolved. My advice, choose another firm.

From the beginning, I was determined to take the case to trial and not accept a diversion program. I firmly believe that the Orange County Sheriff's Office failed to properly investigate the incident before arresting my son, who does not reside permanently in Florida. After collaborating with Mr. Hornsby, within two weeks of my son's arrest the State dismissed the case and now we're onto the expungement process. I couldn't be more satisfied with the service I received. From our first consultation, Mr. Hornsby was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain every step of the process in a way that was easy to understand. His communication style is very blunt and direct -- something I personally appreciated. As a Marine with 13 years of active duty, I'm used to that kind of straightforward approach, and it made me feel confident that I was in capable hands. I would highly recommend Mr. Hornsby to anyone in need of legal help. His expertise and professionalism truly sets him apart.
