I decided to contact this law firm to handle my ticket. the ticket was for speeding, but it was the first one i have received in over 8 years! it was a highway ticket for going 99 in a 70mph. I was not required to attend court because it was under 30 over. Ok so I had 2 options either go to defensive driving course, and pay the set fine or contact a lawyer to reduce fine and remove points. so i chose to contact this law-firm. I was assured that given it was the first ticket in so many years that they would have no problem reducing my fine or having it dismissed.***Also I was told they would contact me for a statement on what happened, but of course I was NEVER contacted about giving a statement.*** That was my first Hint this was not good. Keep in mind this ticket was not clocked on a radar device. i was paced on the highway. also it was late at night since i work night shift. and there were no traffic lights on the highway so it was dark and i was a bit in fear of the car tailing me on the highway for so many miles i would change lanes and then they would change lanes, i was originally going 75mph but someone following so close in florida that late at night spooked me. Long story short i was asked to pay 150.00 dollars up front to have my case handled by them. which was fine if they could reduce my fine which was 280.00 dollars!!! So in the end i recieve a letter stating that i must pay now 320.00 dollars!!! (ticket + court costs) with no points. -----WHAT A BIG ASS WASTE OF TIME THIS WAS FOR ME!!!! NOT ONLY DID I HAVE TO WAIT ALL THIS TIME FOR THE COURT DATE, BUT NOW IM OUT 150.00!!! PLUS 320.00!! OVER 470.00 FU#K!NG DOLLARS FOR A TICKET I COULD HAVE HANDLED MYSELF FOR 300.00 GIVEN I TAKE THE TRAFFIC CLASS.---- DO NOT USE THIS GUY FOR TICKETS!!! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! If you are like me, I hate these things! They are a complete money making scheme for the city. Fight these tickets, because if you don't the next thing you know there will be speeding cameras on I-4 collecting millions of dollars off of us. I can't say enough about Mr. Dirga, except for he WINS. He'll do all the work, take your case to the court, come up some with a legality and win your case! Don't let the city threaten you. There's a reason most people are winning these cases -- because these cameras are unconstitutional.
