Long story short I hired The Ticket Clinic to fight a ticket for me. They "claimed" that they resolved the issue right? HOWEVER they didn't send an email OR a letter stating what the next steps are, so although they "solved my case" in reality they didn't because my license got suspended and I had NO idea. I could've easily gotten arrested for driving around with a suspended license and then that would have been an even bigger issue and more money to get out of that. So not only did I have to pay the court fees but I had to pay extra fees to reinstate my license. So I did some more research. The Ticket Clinic (TTC) came up in every search. I found it the low prices too good to be true, but being furloughed I didn't have much of a choice. I figured TTC might be the Walmart of law firms, but I gave it a shot and I'm so glad I did. My main concern was receiving points on my record and my insurance shooting up. For a mere $150 ($600 less than the first lawyer quoted me), TTC took care of the hearing for me an I received a "withheld adjudication." No points, and no conviction on my record. Awwww yissssss. Sweet, sweet victory, yeah. Sure, I'm still responsible for the court fees, but I expected it and that is a small consequence to endure for my illegal high speed karaoke session. All said and done, I still paid less than half of what the first lawyer wanted as a retainer. Boo-yah! I can't recommend TTC more!
