Waste of time and money. Hired the ticket clinic for a recent citation. Note, this is the first ticket I've received in over 5 years. 2 months after hiring, I receive a notice of suspension of my license from FLHMSV because they must not have filed a request for hearing in time. Fast forward to yesterday, I receive my case results and it is for the full amount of my ticket plus a requirement to attend 4 hours of driving school. I called ticket clinic to express my disappointment and there was nothing they could offer but say sorry. Got lied to. I was sent an email and a letter in the mail saying my case had been dismissed and for me to rate them on Yelp on how great they are. I keep checking the court website and see my case is still active. I call in to the ticket clinic today to find out that it was a "Mistake" and that the ticket was not dismissed and the case is still active, sorry it must have been a mistake. Crazy my court date is in a couple of days and this is the quality of their service. I would not choose this company. From the beginning communication has been lacking and has caused me more stress instead of relieving it. I can only hope for a positive outcome. Got a ticket going 44 on a 30. Speedometer was not working. Had it repaired that same week. Provided the Ticket Clinic with the Repairs Invoice for the repairs. They never used it to present to the judge. When I called to speak to someone about that, she became very aggressive talking over me repeating what I already knew, that dismissed results are not guaranteed. She totally ignored the conversation we were having about not even presented my evidence of a broken speedometer and made it all about Dismissals not guaranteed. I guess this company can only help you in bad traffic cases or if you have a pretty terrible driving record where the courts just slam you with excessive fees, and reductions are common. The did absolutely nothing for me. I had a carpool lane ticket, that's all. Only 5 minutes past 4pm, barely any other cars on the road, and the signs were covered due to construction, which was mainly the reason I was still in that lane. I wasn't sure if it was 4 or 5, and with 3 covered signs in a row, it was unclear. Provided them dashboard cam evidence of all that. Oh, and I have only been stopped by the police once before, 15 years ago, for a minor infraction. The cop this time told me that I just had to pay the 150$ ticket and no points or penalties would be assessed. So basically he said just pay 150 and you are off the hook. Paid the ticket clinic like 90$, then 2 months later they sent me an email that they were 'happy to inform me' that the court withheld adjudication, which in other words means jack sh*t happened. They didn't do anything at all. I still have to pay the 150, in 'court costs' this time. BS. I thought with picture evidence of covered signs and a completely clean driving record they would do something, anything, for 90$. That was just my personal experience with them. They do not promise anything, but I expected at least some effect given the circumstances and my driving history. If you get into a minor situation, I recommend to just pay it and go, these guys aren't worth it. If something more major, get a serious lawyer. As they say, you get what you pay for. read more
