Wings are always good here

Food is typically good they have some items that could be improved. Wings and Mac and cheese are the best! Drinks are good and service is usually very good here. Good place for watching Sports and meeting with friends and family.

$15 blackened Cod

This place is a bit of a mix. Sort of a sports bar with a bit of Irish added in. Bangers and mash was quite good and a decent size portion. Blackened cod was yummy, but the serving size was pathetic, more like two fish sticks (see photo). For $15 there should really be more fish to the dish! House salad was nicely done. We were there on a Wednesday and, surprise, Wednesday is Bingo night. Fun! We haven't played the game in ages and it was They do a nice job of the Bingo, with a variety of game boards. Decor is cool, but the main drawback is that it is loud. Part of it is the crowd and that's fine, but the music was way too loud and it made it hard to have a conversation. Luckily they turn the music off once Bingo starts or you'd never be able to play! Server was nice, but it took way too long to get our food. 20 minutes to get a house salad and 45 to get our entrees.

Very disappointed. The taps were not working so only bottled beer available. Server didn't know her beers so she couldn't recommend.

They carry everything from accessible staples like Buffalo Trace and WhistlePig 10, to rare finds like Weller Full Proof and Octomore 13.3. They even have three single malts from the Game of Thrones collection. Solid pours that are affordable and enjoyable. The owner clearly curates with care. He knows what he is doing. The beer list is just as impressive. You can grab a PBR if that is your pace, or you can work through a rotating selection of craft beers. They have Delirium Tremens on draft, which you almost never see. A wide range of local Montana brews too. There is something for everyone, and nothing feels like an afterthought. The staff actually remembers you. The owner has built something that feels more like a community than a business. Even on a bad day, you are treated with dignity here. That is rare. If you are looking for a place with soul, a curated selection, and a staff that cares, this is it.

The sugar, soy, and corn make it tough to eat out because everything is cooked in canola or soybean oil. I let our server Cassandra know upfront that I was probably going to be one of "those people" and ask a bunch of questions and that I was super sorry. She said it was no problem and answered all my questions with patience and competence! She even knew things that most servers typically have to ask the kitchen about, like that the baked potatoes had vegetable oil, and she knew exactly how the caramelized onions were cooked. I don't mind when servers have to ask the kitchen staff, but Cassandra really was very knowledgeable, and extremely patient! When the food came, the steak was cooked PERFECTLY! The steamed vegetables were delicious, and the atmosphere was great! I would definitely recommend eating at Donivan's and if you want a perfect dining experience, ask for Cassandra!

The servers were very friendly and the atmosphere reminiscent of the wild Wild West days of mining in Montana with all the historical large prints tastefully adorning the walls. For an added kick, check out the restrooms. A keg turned urinal and a copper hand sink and spout, nice!
