Start with the plants - it was killing me that I could not buy anything (because I can't bring back to states) So many beautiful plants. If I lived here, they would be taking all my money. The cafe looked amazing - I would have loved to dine but my companion was not ready. The gift shop had an excellent selection of thoughtful gifts, many of them made in Scotland. I picked up quite a few to bring back for family. I would highly recommend when you're driving through Cairndow - and if you're heading to INverary. - just eat here. The food looked so good.

They have a really good selection of art and prints. I found a Bee & Thistle print I had to have, and they even put it in a mailing tube so that I can send it home and not have to carry it around with me. Their gift shop has a great selection of jewelry, souvenirs, and gifts for loved ones back home. Many things you cannot find in the bigger cities here, as they are local made. The cafe in the back has wonderful homemade food. We had soup and toasties (grilled cheese sealed in a pie iron), and the quiche of the day, which were all really good. The desserts will tempt you to take them home with you. Its definitely a nice place to stop while touring the Glencoe valley.

This is such a cute café and gift shop. They are so friendly and warm. You feel like you're eating at a friend's house. We had the leek and sweet potato soup, scone with cream and jam, tea and ice cream. Random I know but all delicious. Soup-thick and flavorful. It was the prettiest orange color and came with some seriously hearty brown brood (that's Scottish for bread). Scone-moist with raisins. It was good by itself but then you add the raspberry jam andhwhipped cream(not sweet-think more like whipped butter) and watch out! I may never leave. The tea was hot and spot on with the scone. Ice cream-they call it ice cream but it was more like frozen custard. Rich, thick and creamy!!! So good. I got traditional flavor-like vanilla. They have a great view of the loch and the castle. There's great outdoors seating and a trail down to a viewing point. This place is great!!! Come for the view and stay for the food. It's so worth a stop.

While they were out of many of them during our trip, we still thoroughly enjoyed the ones we had. The vegetarian haggis was surprisingly delicious. Having never tasted traditional haggis, this is not a comparison. We enjoyed the flavor and the consistency was a bit crumbly without being too mushy. The vegetarian pizza was solid, although a few too many vegetables included for my personal taste (I prefer pizza with two to three items). And the standard margherita pizza was a winner. The staff was friendly and the view from the deck was nice.
