Joanne Brand has outdone herself on my newest hairstyle! My first hair color experience was by Joanne 6 months ago and in visiting Sun Valley from Seattle again this last weekend I had to go back to the salon. She was very meticulous when adding color to each layer of hair and her attention to the smallest details was phenomenal. For reference, I have very dark Asian hair so Joanne spent hours ensuring it got as light as I wanted. This was the first time I have gotten so many highlights and I walked out of the salon with a brand new look that I absolutely love and thank Joanne for working with me to get the exact style I wanted. As someone who visits from Seattle, I plan on going back to the Third Floor every time I am in the valley for anything from a cut to more color. The people are amazing and the view from the chairs are unbelievable. I would absolutely recommend this salon to anyone visiting or living in the Hailey/Sun Valley area. read more

Called in same day to get seen for a spray tan by Mellisa, appointment at 1:30.Immediately greeted by Alyssa and asked if I wanted a drink. I got a coffee which was super delicious and just right temp.(fresh) Everyone was smiling and laughing, It felt welcoming and very comforting. Waiting for Mellissa I had products to view that kept me busy,right on time she came out and greeted with a pretty smile. Escorted the way to the tanning area to spray, shower like booth where I stand.With a hot lamp I think that was over to the side. The closet had her magical stuff and I asked of course if I should spray my face (I wear a lot of makeup) and she suggest why not. I did so. The product she explained, and asked about my experience in spray tanning and than explained where she would tan.I got done at 2:05ish. Mellissa is very professional. Around 4pm I finally undressed, my light skin was the natural look of a tan!! I showered the next day and some of it came off but you couldn't even tell it was gone! I showered that same night and nothing came off, today I showered and still nothing came off.The smell is gone by the first shower. Definitely no more tanning beds or fake lotion! For me!!! Third Floor Salon stands for there professionalism,beautiful smile and just comfort-everyone can agree comfort is a plus. Will be seeing Mellissa again soon! :) read more

Wow, just had a hair cut and high/low lights with Joanne Brand at the Third Floor Salon. She was recommended to me by someone at the local coffee shop. What a great cut and my color is fabulous. My hair is so shiny. My only complaint about this hair stylist is that is she works in Sun Valley and not in San Francisco. Oh well, it is definitely a must stop while vacationing in Sun Valley! Just had my hair colored and cut by Owner, Joanne Brand, at the Third Floor Salon and it feels and looks fantastic! She uses an Olaplex product that bonds the hair and keeps it healthy even though I am lightening it...this is a very upscale salon with a positive vibe! I have a thick head of hair. It was starting to take over me. Time for a change. I also am thinking maybe I should go back to my natural color. Joanne spent all the time she needed to tame this wicked beast that I was so ready to say good bye to. She colored and cut, easing me into my natural shade, and leaving a shocking amount of hair on the floor. When we were done I felt twenty pounds lighter and twenty years younger. How good is that? I just moved to Hailey, ID and didn't know where to go for hair cut and color. I am very particular and when I find a great stylist, I never leave them. I have frizzy hair that is naturally dark and graying, and I need highlights, a good cut and the Keratin Complex Treatment. I saw reviews here for The Third Floor Salon and booked a consultation with Joanne, owner of the Salon. She was very thorough, had great ideas and I instantly felt super relaxed and comfortable with her ideas. She had a last minute cancellation so I got my cut and color the same day. I couldn't be more pleased with the results. Joanne and Bob are great, the salon is beautiful and the view looking out over Carbonate is stunning. This is an all around amazing experience and I'm so glad I have found my new stylist here in Hailey.
