My wife and I spent $50 per person on Eventbrite to skip the line instead of $20 general admission. We got there around 12 am after the concert let out and there was literally like 10 people in line ( they scammed my a$$), no need to skip. They were charging $40 at the door for general admission. Got there and it was dead . Pros, coming from ATL and paying a lot to hangout it was very cheap to party here. The wifey and I had 3 drinks a peace ( Ciroc/ sprite and Crown/ Red Bull ) and 2 lemon drop shots. We also has 30 wings, nachos and seafood dip and I only spent $77 that was with gratuity included . I had to add and extra $50 tip. Our waitress was super cool, music was good and we got the souther hospitality vibe and treatment.

We came to Blue by the most random of circumstances. My dad, stepmom, boyfriend and I went to a…read moreshow earlier in the evening and we were looking for a place to grab some dinner. My stepmom surprisingly had a coupon for Blue which was in a coupon book sold to her as a high school fundraiser. Turns out, the coupon was invalid, and the manager of the restaurant said the coupons had been printed without their consent. The good news? They completely honored the deal and we enjoyed two filet mignons and some tasty appetizers for a very, very low price. The atmosphere was sparse when we first arrived, but began to fill up quite quickly. The only bad thing was that the DJ started playing R&B/rap music as we were trying to enjoy a nice dinner with the parents. Made for some awkwardness as my parents actually listened to the lyrics... All in all, I'm happy about the coupon misfortune because I probably wouldn't have stopped in otherwise. I'm very impressed that the manager honored invalid coupons, and I'd be happy to reward them with future visits. Disclosure: I've never gone out here for happy hour or actually "going out" - so I can't comment on the bar scene/aspect of Blue.

The crab legs were all served nice and fresh with ample butter. You also get a side of fries and 2 hush puppies when you order the crab special. In addition to the crab, I also recommend their Sweet Tea Mojito! This drink was SO good. For those that like mojitos, you know that a place can either get it right or fail miserably. I'm happy to say that Blue is one of the places in Columbia that gets this drink perfectly. The drawback to giving this place 5 stars is the location is nearly impossible to find. You're safe parking in the lot behind M Vista because Blue is tucked between M Vista and Wild Wing Cafe. I also have to give lower marks because they ran out of serving forks for the crab. Yes, it was an all-you-can-eat crab night but the place was hardly packed so not having utensils was unacceptable. They run their crab promotion Tuesday and Saturday nights from 5p-9p. I've also heard they have a great happy hour Mon-Fri 5p-7p with half off all drinks and appetizers. I'll definitely be returning here.

I went here a couple weekends ago with friends. We initially went because we had heard they had a…read morehip hop area and a Latin music area (something for all of us basically). When we got there, we were greeted by some very nice (and attractive :-D) doormen who took our i.d.'s and told us the price to get in and said they were giving us our first drink free, so I already got a great impression before we even stepped inside. The club itself is set up very nicely and seems like a great atmosphere..it's very cool looking with a lot of space. The bar staff were very polite and attentive. I thought I had a weird drink request and the bartender smiled and said it wasn't weird at all and quickly made my drink exactly how I asked. Even my friends talked about how nice everyone was. I rarely experience that at clubs, usually they're just in a hurry to help and move on or just have flat out nasty attitudes. It was all pretty reasonably priced as well. Ok...what I wasn't too fond of (here goes..) I was a little disappointed by the music but I guess that's because I was expecting there to be more hip hop (like we were told there was) and our group isn't really into the whole electronic and techno music scene, totally not Social's fault. But they played a whole N'Sync and bubblegum pop segment...that pretty much told me I was in the wrong place after that. I did like the idea of the Latin area being another option but it was a small area and got a little overcrowded by people who couldn't even salsa dance. Speaking of which, the crowd seemed to be all college kids, so we felt kind of like we were too old to be in there. Not saying I would never come back because I actually did like a lot of things about this club but it won't be my first choice because of the reasons above. If they had a bit of an older crowd and played some hip hop..even if it isn't the entire night, I would give it a 5.
