For instance, the decor's nicer. It feels just that little bit more upmarket, and, therefore, nicer to sit down and linger in. It also helps that there're books and newspapers for you to read as well. Another point, he offers two roasts of coffee. I usually go for the Italian, which tastes all right. Allso, he has a loyalty scheme as well, where if you buy seven coffees, the eighth is on the house. All these little touches you'd expect from a high street coffee shop, found in a small independent one in a rather quiet part of town (compared to the area across the bridge!). The owner is friendly and chatty. I think he used to be in sales prior to opening up the coffee shop so there's a danger you might find yourself in there chatting for quite some time the first couple of times you're in there. And, speaking as someone who desperately needed a pick-me-up after a late night of unexpected boozing, Hussar's bacon sandwiches were a lifesaver! I've given this place three out of five stars because I've had better tasting coffee elsewhere (usually in central London). Still, for the area, this is pretty much the best you can get, and for a not too bad price (£2.20, if memory serves).

The space was very tight and no offer of assistance to find a table, there were a couple of customers but the staff decided to huddle for a conversation while I struggled to stand and order. There was limited choice of food compared to other locations. The tables were also sticky and not wiped down. I asked to use the toilet to wash my hands and the soap dispenser did not work which seems to be ongoing as someone has written a note to the staff on the hand dryer, the floor was soaked. The customer seating area and floors were disgusting. Not one table was cleaned or wiped down while we were there over 40 minutes. I enjoyed the mocha but my husband choose not to eat and just have a coffee. The croque Monsieur was dry and we not up to the usual quality or standard. I will not be coming back to this Paul again. The standards and quality have dropped, I hope it is not the same for other Paul locations.

For this amazing price, you get baked beans, 2 premium sausages, 2 top-range rashers and a choice of fried or eggs - I recommend getting the scrambled eggs which are lightly cooked in a fluffy way to ensure absolute no unnecessary oils. While there's nothing novel or particularly special about an English breakfast, one at Pinks leaves you feeling not so guilty because it appears to be more healthily cooked in comparison to your average out of the mill cafe. For £4, you really can't go wrong. This cafe is quite small so make sure your party is kept to a minimum of four persons. From memory, this cafe has no more than 25 seats.

In my months there, I once had the wrong sauce added to my wrap, however, which was a shame. Twice I was forgotten - one of those times because I was around the corner in the alley, at a table, instead of my usual place (out of sight, out of mind? I don't usually hide around there). Most of the time, however, it's good. Go a few times, and they will learn your order, too. Always nice to feel special. I highly recommend the, and you have to say it fast as one big word, chickenbaconcheesesaladmayowrap. And if you REALLY want to clog your body up, they're usually quite happy to make it extra cheese and mayo, and remove that damned tomato. Student deals are available, which, typical of kingston, usually mean a free drink. My only gripe with them is that, whilst it tastes great, the food doesn't always feel fresh. For example, if you go for a cooked meat, they have some pre-cooked meat that they then just throw straight into the wrap/panini/whatever, to reheat.

I get so good vibbs whenever I go in to the shop. I dont know if it is the smell, the people or the athmosfear. But I really like everything. They have so many things to buy, you just want to order and try everything. But since im allergic to milk, I need soya, almond or cocos milk. And guess what, they have all three of them. In this moment I get water in my mouth just because im thinking about this shop. Do I need to say more?
