Loved. I'm a ho for…read morea brewery tour of any kind. I have been to so many of them: Guinness, Heineken, carlsberg, Bacardi, dogfish head, anheuser busch, Kentucky bourbon trail. The whole 9. I would enjoy them all. I thought the miller one was very interesting even though we didn't get to see the most interesting part of a brewery tour: the bubbling vats of beer. It was apparently over 100 degrees in there so they weren't talking anyone in on the day of our visit. Our tour guides were very good. They did an excellent job. It wasn't too long but it was long enough. I would definitely recommend stopping by if you are visiting Milwaukee.

Be forewarned that you must pre register online to take the tour and it's $20 for adults. At the gift shop/visitor center there is plenty of free parking. About 25% of the tour is outdoors but that is mainly walking from the visitor center to the various buildings you visit. The tour takes about 80 minutes. My your started at 3 pm and had about 25 people in it given by two tour guides. They told us that the entire campus encompasses 78 acres. The tour covers walking through 3 or 4 buildings that show the brewing and packaging process which was interesting to see. It's impressive how much beer they make here everyday and all of the brands they support. We also went into the old cave room where beer barrels were stored before refrigeration to keep the brew cool. That room had a beautiful mural in one wall. I enjoyed this tour and recommend it. Also each adult is given 3 beer samples of about 4 oz each. I picked Blue Moon, Hamm's and Miller High Life.

We opted to make 1 stop (Cooperage) for a bathroom break which was perfect. No need to bring coolers they just put all the drinks in the middle compartment which was nice. Also... secret... you don't need to pedal which is great haha

This review is for the boat with the tiki covering. We walked from our hotel and entered around the side of the Harp building. When we got there we were greeted by a lovely 4 legged friend, as a dog lover this was lovely. Sadly, the dog did not go on our tour but a different boat. The boat itself has plenty of space for any beverages or snacks. They had ice already ready for our drinks. The seats have a bike seat cushion, but no actual pedals. There was also space at the front of the shop for us to just sit and enjoy the scenery. There are speakers on board so you can hook up to Bluetooth if you want. The captain and his first mate were excellent! They were able to tell us some interesting facts about our surroundings. They took pictures with the background of the bridge and the Milwaukee graffiti. They had a point where you could get a picture wearing the captain's hat behind the steering. It was such a lovely touch to have someone who knew when a good photo opportunity was coming up and was ready to alert us and take our picture. Half way through the trip, we took a break at a restaurant to use the bathroom. We were able to quickly order and receive fries to bring on board. The fries were soooo crispy and delicious. We had booked a public tour and ended up getting along really well the big group that was with us. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. It helped take the whole experience to another level along with all the other little touches. We would definitely do this again. It was a nice way to see the city and to get out of the heat. I've never done a water tour like this and thoroughly enjoyed this! It was relaxing. I could see how some people would party hard on this so if you're looking for that, it's feasible.
