From the moment i spoke with Linda Luxe about my birthday celebration and my vision, she not only reassured me it would be delivered but she also did a ton of research and sent me ideas to pick from. She planned my event in less than 3 weeks, got me in contact with all vendors, some of whom were abroad, (i ordered a dress and it got here on time!) She would call/text me frequently to check in with me and update me. She is super organized, and made a spread sheet of all the vendors and balances, this was super helpful. It was such attention to detail that reassured me she was the one for the job! Most importantly, she calmed my anxieties lol. We had a vendor call out day before the event because they were unwell and Linda immediately reassured me there would be a replacement and she made it happen. My party came off without a hitch, and all i had to focus on was having FUN! Megan provided guidance when we went over our ideas and concepts for our wedding and helped make our vision a reality. She has a rare combination of soft skills, design skills, organization, and intuition that make for an excellent project manager. There were hiccups and little issues to work through during planning and the wedding itself - nothing ever goes as planned, even with the most amazing wedding planner, because that's life - but she was there with us, to support us emotionally and logistically, give advice, make design suggestions. Fortunately, I found Ricki through other friends who had worked with her for their weddings. Upon reading her website, I quickly realized that she was an event planner for all kinds of events in addition to weddings. Upon speaking with her, I realized that she would be able to take care of all kinds of details that I hadn't previously even thought of, like, would I need umbrellas to shield my guests from the sun. Thank goodness I hired her; we all would have been very hot, sunburnt, and uncomfortable, if she hadn't attended to so many seemingly "small" details that I would have never thought of on my own. By the time my party began, it had morphed into a beautiful, tasteful, event. My guests all said how cared for and pampered they felt, which is exactly how I felt, as the birthday girl. I'm so glad that I hired Ricki.
