I finally was able to come here on my day off to enjoy a day at the Korean style spa. Upon entry,…read moreyou check in and get towels, a shirt and shorts set, and a locker key. Once you have your stuff, you got the locker room (shoes off) to get changed~ you can either go for the pools and the wet saunas etc or go upstairs on the shirt/shorts to enjoy the heated rooms. I hit the second floor first and spent a good 30 minutes relaxing and sweating it out. There are three heated rooms and one cold room. After that, I headed downstairs to enjoy a good rinse before heading into the heated pool. There was only one heated pool and one cool pool. There were plenty of areas to sit and bathe or stand and shower. This is also the area you can book services for body scrubs etc. there are also a couple of saunas in this area. The pool shower areas also have plastic baskets to hold your stuff, as well as complimentary toothbrushes, toothpaste, and razors. Each shower or bathing section also has complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The locker room has lockers where you can store your stuff with your assigned locker number. There are also areas to get read with hair dryers and qtips and lotion. Overall, a lovely experience and hope to come back.

Do want to warn that it can cause a runny nose as your body is getting rid of the mucus in your body - Infared sauna: has different light options of your choosing and there is a list. Make sure you drink electrolytes before and after, and bring water with you. I do meditation exercises, deep breathing, or bring a book inside the sauna. I would avoid bringing glasses/phone as it gets hot - Red light therapy: I would do either (1) 10 min session or (2) 10 min sessions and do the red light for body inflammation and/or the option for acne and face blemishes. Also noticed a difference in my body (I feel and look much skinnier after a red light session) and my skin/acne is more easier to get rid of as I get microneedling done separately. You do have to get into a chamber and I'm used to these type of machines so I don't get claustrophobic. The staff is wonderful, place is clean and tidy. More affordable than other locations with similar specialities, except this place is in a good location with free and ample parking. You get to choose essential oils and peppermint is my go to. I work a stressful job and I've noticed this routine I have at this studio has made a huge difference for my MH.

I notified you via email prior to bringing a family member in. I wasn't told I wasn't allowed in response you just charge me and tell me after you charge me. This is not how you treat members at a family type Gym. I use to love coming here like many of the Sand Canyon residents. Unfortunately too much has changed. We pay more to go to a small more community/family establishment but since the management changed we have been treated like what you would expect from a cooperate facility and we now feel that we're just a paycheck to the owner rather than welcomed guests. This place is no longer personable and the staff is no longer friendly and it's a shame but we will be switching once our contract ends. Not to mention you know I pay for a membership I seriously never use but I like having the option. The one time I actually come in after several months , this is how I'm treated. I always pay and have never caused issues, you would think I'd be treated a little differently. When I use to do personal training and frequent this gym, we all looked out for each other. Many occasions packages were left outside and I'd bring them in and leave a note and let my trainer know. Due to an injury I stopped my training that was paid for and I never asked for a refund or complained or made a fuss. More frustrating, though, was being charged a sudden $20 "no-show" fee, something that has never happened in my entire year as a customer. When I asked about it, staff claimed they'd sent a mass email notifying customers of this new policy, but I never signed any agreement or contract consenting to those terms. Charging longtime customers for a policy they never formally agreed to feels unprofessional, and honestly a little sneaky. I understand businesses need policies to protect against no-shows, but implementing one retroactively via a mass email -- with no signature or clear opt-in -- isn't the way to do it. Between the inconsistent service and this billing practice, I can't in good conscience recommend this place.
