He tells it like it is and gives you the information straight, which I loved!Nothing too flashy or overbearing and was very reasonable compared to other DJs at the expo. We booked pretty early on and when the time came to organize day-of logistics, Travis gave me a call to go over everything about a month in advance and then the DJ that would actually be servicing the wedding called the week prior to go over last minute details. The DJ himself was helpful and organized and put on a great show.

Only four days before the appointment, she cancels due to a personal issue. It takes her over one month to respond- only to tell me that she is now on bed rest for the next few months. I am heartbroken because now my dog has passed away, and my children are well over their birthday milestones. I ask for a refund and she agrees, only to never send it. She claims she sent the refund on March 20th and I have never heard back from her. Autumn is not someone you should do any business with.

Our wedding would be very simple with no decor, matching bridesmaids, etc, so we wanted to make sure we found a photographer that was great at capturing people since our wedding was going to be all about our families. Ron did an excellent job photographing our wedding! He captured how intimate the ceremony was from many different creative angles and did a great job capturing the character of our family members in the photos. Our bride and groom portraits turned out gorgeous as well. We were extremely happy with the photographs, all our friends and families gushed over how beautiful the photos turned out and the candid moments he caught on camera. Ron is a great guy to work with. In addition to being a great photographer with a good eye for color and composition, he also helps make you feel more comfortable in front of the camera and is great with the guests. Our families loved him and thought he was great. In addition, he was also extremely discreet during the ceremony, I honestly didn't notice him through the whole thing and was surprised about all the locations he had taken pictures from without me even noticing he was there. I was worried we wouldn't be able to shoot what we wanted, but Ron agreed to come two hours early the day of so that we could get our pictures before the rain started. He followed the storms on his phone so we were able to clean up and hop in the car just as the first rain drops started to fall! Our wedding was exactly what we wanted, in no small part because of Betsy's hard work. From our first meeting, Betsy really listened to what we wanted in our wedding and inspired confidence that she could make it happen. She provided recommendations and references for vendors, but was not pushy about it. She worked well with everyone involved. The week of the wedding, Betsy really took over, confirming (and re-confirming!) all of the details with the venue, vendors, etc. By the time the wedding came, everything was in place and it went so smoothly. (We suspect many things were going on behind the scenes, but Betsy and her assistant took care of everything and we never saw any snags or issues.) Meh. CCTR provided…read morethe tables for my recent wedding reception. Their prices were unbeatable. Factoring delivery charges + afterhours surcharges (as the tables needed to be picked up between 11pm-midnight) they were HALF the price of the quote given by the 2 big names in party rentals in Madison. And while they delivered, set-up, and picked-up and took away the tables just as they should, the service between first contact and after delivery has been hellish. First, I was told an invoice had been sent and never got one. It took a few calls and emails to get a new one (I don't know if one had ever actually been sent). We paid by check, signing the invoice and contract and mailing it all back. No word after a week that they received the money (thankfully I did take note of the mailing date, check #, etc.). We learned from our venue that they could deliver 30 minutes earlier than we'd been first told. This was easy enough, I thought, and contacted Vikki (the co-owner) about it. Multiple calls and emails and until the day before the wedding I had no idea if they had this info. The day before the wedding we got a call from Brian (the other co-owner) about billing the charges to the reception venue. Eep! No! Not only should they not be billed, but the tables were already paid for! A month ago! He wasn't sure about that as "(his) wife does the books." I gave the venue a head's up about this. Sure enough, a few days after the reception, the venue got a bill. But thankfully they replied that a) it wasn't theirs and b) they understood I had paid it already. When I got this news, I immediately contacted Vikki, but it's been nearly 2 weeks and she hasn't replied or acknowledged my contact. So: did they provide a good service for a low price? Yes. Were they easy to contact? No. Would I recommend them to people? ONLY if they people drove over to McFarland to deal with Vikki in person. Because I feel that's likely the only way to keep anything straight with Capital City Tent Rental.
